Description
A thin boy with mid-length black hair. Wearing thin-rimmed glasses and blue jeans, also a red button-down shirt. Has no scars or marks on his body. Although occasionally the soft ivory skin of his hands become black with the residue of creating super-nova's.
Personality
Quiet and shy he keeps to himself and seems rather cowardly.
Equipment
A few books which he always reads over and over again.

So begins...
Novus's Story
Novus wandered into the bar pushing his glasses back up into place. Looking around he slowly made it to the counter and took a seat, pulling out one of his heavy leather bound books. He began reading.
Novus turned slowly to look at all the fighting in the bar. Looking confused the young man turned back with a shrug and resumed reading his old book. Trying to tune out the noise as he flicked effortlessly through the long, small print pages every couple of minutes.
Novus noticed a spike emerging from the ground and calmly pointing down made it melt with the heat of a supernova. Dusting off his hand to get rid of the black ash he calmly resumes reading his leather bound book.
Novus looked up from his book and yawned and pushed his glasses back up. Before, going back to reading from the leather bound book.
Novus looks down as his shoes get wet "what the hell?" Looking around with a confused expression he slung the book back into the bag and began watching the people more attentively.
Novus wandered once again into the bar hoping today would go better than the last time when he had almost been impaled. Looking around he sighed and took a seat at the bar, before pulling out one of his leather-bound books from his bag and opening it again.
Novus kept calm and ignored the commotion of the bar as he pushed his glasses back up. Looking up he turned to see utter chaos before turning back to his book. Trying to keep from adding any more trouble to the already packed bar.
Novus turned at the noise of a person falling and pushed his glasses up while simultaneously shutting his book. "Uhm are you ok?" he asked the creature in his soft voice.
Novus saw the creature was being looked after and turned back to the bar opening his book then pushing his glasses back up and reading again. Every few minutes he'd flip the page and his eyes would begin darting again down through the small script on the inside of the pages.
Novus looked straight down and slowly very slowly got up to move slightly and land in the chair behind the man with the child. Sitting he went back to his book reading faster than before.
Novus looked up trying to find the bartender he quietly speaks "can I get some water?" He smiles slightly before going back to his book, his glasses slipping down his nose slightly.
Novus caught the bottle in his left hand without looking up from his book. With a sigh the top of the bottle exploded and he began sipping from the broken neck. Looking up he set the bottle down on the counter, pushed his glasses up and went back to reading.
Novus looked up as he heard someone speak to him. Smiling as he looked up he said in his quiet voice "thanks" he reached up with one hand and bent the ends of his glasses back down so they held his glasses a little tighter to his face before shutting his book carefully "I'm Novus nice to meet you" he paused.
Novus smiled at the woman "yes nice to meet you Ava." Turning back he began reading his book again, just speeding through the tiny script.
Novus stopped his flickering eyes and smiled at Ava again "yea I do it's just one of my natural gifts." Shutting the book he offered it to Ava "want to see it?" his smile softened around the edges.
Novus chuckled and opened the book showing her the page he smiled and began reciting it from memory "I'm not worried at all Ava." Giving her a wink he set the book in front of her "it's just a book about all the different demons in the underworld."
Novus slowly tapped the cover of the leather-bound book "oh this is pretty close to a horror book but if you dont want to read it okay" he slipped the book back into his bag and sipped from his water again.
Novus chuckled and pulled the book back out holding it up and reciting just the first page "The first demon covered in this novel is, The Imp, a mischievous spirit that likes to play pranks on mortals and will stop at nothing to harm anyone nearby." Smiling he pushed his glasses back up slightly "scary enough for you?"
Novus slips the book back into the bag and pulls out the only other book a black and red book with no title on the cover, "The Tale of Jack, The Ripper" with a smile he set it down and started reciting a small bit "one of Jack's lesser known 'cases' was when he was blamed for the murder of a poor woman who had her throat slit with a piece of paper." Smiling he taps the cover "one of my favorite parts is the list of cases in the back."
