Name: Rhianna Thros.
Alias: Parlina
Title(s): Lady Princess - heir apparent to the throne of Orasis, despite being a bastard.
Age: Eighteen.
Gender: Female.
Race: Orasian - humanoids with extraordinary capabilities.
Occupation: Druid in training.

Height: 5’5”
Weight: 146 lbs.
Eyes: Interchangeable between aquamarine and peridot, when she is feeling positive and negative feelings respectively.
Hair: Chestnut in colour, it falls to just behind her shoulder blades when unbound but is most frequently kept in a messy bun that is incredibly lazily done.
Physique: She looks fragile, but having two boys as her best friends and a childhood of exploring forests all day long has made her resilient to the elements.
Skin Colour: Naturally quite pale, but her skin currently possesses a golden glow to it.
Memorable Features: The beginnings of her druidic markings are reminiscent on her left cheek - a faded, almost henna-like image of a lily flower.

Attire:

Her druidic robes have been reinstated since her arrival upon Terra, her pendant remaining ever-present, hidden underneath her upper layers of furs. This silvery-looking pendant is about the size of a two pound coin, with five small indents in the vague shape of a star. Only one of these is filled - the lower left hole that encases the green Crystal of the Lady.

In all outward appearances, quite a normal, everyday human, excepting the small - one and a half foot long - oaken sceptre she carries on her at all times, safely secure in a loop at her waist when not in her hands.

Equipment:

Nearly all of the Lady Princess’s equipment has been gifted to her by friends and allies, her only genuine possession being the Pendant of the Crystals, a family heirloom finally given to her when she came into her inheritance at sixteen, being the only surviving child of King Laurant.

Arthos and Arthan - These are a twin set of elongated daggers gifted to Rhianna by Juroar, her friend and ally, when he decided that she needed to learn to defend herself in a way that did not rely solely upon her natural magical talents. They are named after two of the original creators of the Crystals. The blades are made from the same metal as her pendant, the handles from oak.

Blazing Sun - Her sceptre which was given to her by the Ural family after acquiring the item from Joseph himself not two months ago. It is a Spirit Weapon, primarily created as a conduit to strengthen the bond between the spirits and wielder, though Rhianna is capable of manipulating her abilities without it. It has chosen her as its rightful possessor, in the hopes that together, they can achieve the goals set at her feet. It is made from oak taken from an ancient druidic grove in the most northern reaches of Orasis.

The Pendant of the Crystals - This is a pendant made from a silvery metal with only one of its five indents filled with the emerald Crystal of the Lady. It has been the family heirloom on her father's side of the family for generations, given it barely days before being transported to Terra. It allows Rhianna a mastery over earth spirits that she does not hold over the other spirits directly.

Woodsteel Breastplate - A small silvery breastplate that has the same weighting as wood, even though it has the appearance of metal.

Nature’s Guardian - A suit of leather armor which can push or pull metal away (can basically ward off swords/bullets or force them to get stuck).

Hunter’s Javelin - Controls the ability of lightning. Bonds with the wielders soul until they die. Can be summoned back to its bonded wielder, short range only.

Magic:

Her education into the druidic arts have gifted Rhianna with a connection the natural world around her that allows her to commune with the spirits that make up the very elements around us. Parlina herself possesses no ability of her own; every feat that she performs is the act of the spirits following her instruction through their mental link. Her youth and inexperience means that she communicates best with the earth spirits that the spirit Aliana and her crystal find most familiarity, though her experience with the air spirits is allowing for understanding to come easier. It is a bond of implicit trust and respect that allows her gifts to gel perfectly with the spirits.

These spirits manifest mainly in the five main 'schools' of the crystals; air, earth, fire, life/death and water. All but life have a representative spirit, but Parlina can only commune with Aliana at will presently, though this has more to do with their shared role and blood ties than spiritual affinity.

Transcendence: Beyond the innate link between the spirits of the world and the ever-learning druid lies a power that Parlina does not realise she possesses. All the representative spirits have, given affinity and circumstance, the ability to join with Parlina in the physical world and bestow upon her a primary and personal attribute associated with their element to bolster her survivalibility, to the exclusion of all other spirit types.

Representative Spirits:

As well as being the highest manifestation of each 'school', these spirits would be what one would see should they possess abilities that allow shifting to a plane that would allow them to see the true form of the green sparks that materialise in the physical world.

So begins...

Parlina was relieved to find this 'bar' as her liaison had called it was quite similar to the taverns back home, albeit more... what was the word... modern?

Yes, that was the word indeed. How ever was she going to do this? Time, patience and faith in the Divine, they had all said but they were all back home, safe and secure in their world.

Her world and she was being subjected to change that she knew not how to cope with. This was her first solo visit anywhere; her first time outside their rooms on the ninth floor, actually. She hoped they didn't notice.

Parlina took a deep breath and began to walk away from the stairs. This would be simple, she told herself with confidence she did not possess. Just sit down, order a drink and act natural. It's not like you're particularly standing out in a place like this anyway.

She reached the counter, taking a seat a few down from a rather exuberant female before scanning her eyes around the rest of the room, their colour currently a soft blue. Not nervous yet then.

Parlina started at the music before relaxing visibly. Bards... yes, now it felt more like home. In her reverie, she didn't notice Bow sidling up to her until the shifter spoke. The young woman nearly jumped out of her seat in surprise, before shaking her head in self-admonishment. "I... Hello," she replied haltingly, nodding at the comment. "No... I'm new around Terra."

Just then, she seemed to recall her manners, holding out a hand but feeling and looking awkward. What she wouldn't give to act like she had once before... "I'm Parl."

Parlina wasn't entirely sure what to make of either Bow or the Peregrine, though she was thankfully spared needing to make an assessment of the latter by another patron distracting him.

The young woman turned her attention quickly back to her cheery greeter, shaking her hand firmly. "It's lovely to meet you; thank you," she tried to say most politely before seeming to give up the act and blinking most rudely in confusion. "I... erm... Light?" Then throne was mentioned and Parlina stood abruptly, looking nervous. "The throne? The king?"

Oh well that was just wonderful, she thought with rolled eyes. He wasn't supposed to know where she was.

Parlina looked positively on edge. "Queen?" she returned stupidly before realising her error, laughing nervously at her own stupidity, sliding herself reluctantly back into the stool. "Doctor? What are they?"

Her mood was still obviously touchy, but she seemed willing to converse nonetheless.

Parlina tilted her head at Bow's explanation, feeling a little gratitude at the simplicity chosen. There was so much to take in around here. "I see. You are a healer then, like myself," she replied, allowing a small smile grace her lips at that thought.

Technology... The young woman looked away for a moment, glimpsing the electric fire. That was technology, if she recalled her brief lessons correctly. Her first two weeks on Terra had been spent learning the very basics of modern society. It was quite different from Arthain. "It is a fulfilling task, to be sure."

Reminiscent thoughts of home made Parlina close her eyes for a moment then. Healing the cuts of a fallen child... fixing broken bones when repairing a house went wrong. She missed home.

Parlina looked up at Bow with a cautious look at that query, the look in her eyes telling more than heavy-handed words ever could. "Yes; so very much," she said with a sigh, thinking for a moment for something else to discuss. "It must be lovely to teach others your craft; I've spent my years since I was four learning my trade and all I desire is to be the best I can to give another that joy one day."

Parlina smiled appreciatively at the stranger, before listening attentively in reciprocal interest. "I... expect so. It's still hard to grasp that there are so many worlds out there... I've been learning about Terra and the Multiverse for the past two weeks now and I'm still over-awed."

Her statement was punctuated by a wave of regret at Bow's next words. There would be no future as a druid for her; not anymore. "I will never in my craft but hopefully, I'll find another way, especially with so many avenues being opened by coming here."

Parlina looked skeptical at that. Fate couldn't be escaped, no matter how hard one tried, moderately pleased when Bow diverted the conversation towards healing once more, stretching out a hand to her right obligingly. "Watch."

Her green eyes slid closed as the would be druidess focused as green sparks seemed to dance off her fingertips though as soon as they started flying towards her head, Parlina's smile grew soft. "I... am a Child of the Forest Bow. I work alongside the spirits of my world to heal and defend. It is my birthright and calling."

Parlina looked positively aghast at that. Their kind could not commune with nature... at all? "How awful!" she exclaimed, her first real bout of emotion so far. "Technology... surely cannot fill such a void."

Her statement was spoken with certainty, her hand coming back towards her as the spirits settled in between Bow and herself on the bar counter. "They say you are a kind soul, despite your disconnection." Her smile turned warm at the shifter then. "If I were older and better experienced, I could try teaching you but I am barely seventeen summers."

Parlina There was a moment where she said nothing, tilting her head intently down towards the spirits with a curious frown. Only... half there? How absurd... Bow was quite clearly all there, in body and soul! Sometimes she wondered... "I suppose different worlds must work in different manners, no matter the cost to natural bonds and life," she commented with slight distaste.

Since she had been here, Parlina had firmly refused to use any technology, even managing to wrangle her liaison into fetching her a less... recent style bed and bedding. So, there were perks to being a princess after all, she grinned wryly.

"How strange! My world thrives off natural magic, much the same as your species seems to use technology so freely," she realised, watching with intent eyes as the spirits floated up to Bow's heart and she could feel their curiosity. "No! Don't be rude. I'm sorry Bow, they seem to think you are only half here. In soul."

Parlina completely lost her concentration at that point, the spirits fading back into the atmosphere as if they had never manifested. Lights and Darks? Her... soul partner was a cat? How very strange! "I... erm... I see," she mumbled through her words, not really understanding at all.

Instead of speaking further, she settled for watching the cat with some confusion. Perhaps it would explain itself, she thought whimsically.

Parlina stared. Shamelessly. She had heard that other druids were capable of such transformations but Bow had just told her that natural bonds were out of their races' grasp. "I... Evening... sir," she managed to choke out, still physically reeling from the spectacle she had just witnessed.

The respectful title came out as reflex to his, blinking slowly as she realised Bow had spoken. "Right. Of course."

Parlina Now, a cat-person. Maybe she had been caught and this was actually one big illusion to keep her sedated and compliant... "You don't have a good enough imagination for that, Parl.

No, quite right, she thought sensibly, forcing herself to extend a hand out to Blade with a polite smile. "Parlina. I am a druid. It's lovely to meet you as well as your sister, whom I agree is quite the social butterfly. I'm new here and she's been very nice to me, even considering my reaction earlier."

Again, she had winced at the word 'throne' but less noticeably, as she had expected it.

Parlina looked up at Bow as she nodded her greeting back at the Dark, hesitating a little. Fire wasn't something she was keen to be near... "I wouldn't call me a friend... she's barely known me half an hour," she protested, albeit weakly. "Bow, I'm not... comfortable with flames, so I'll stay over here but thank you for the kind offer!"

Her statement was flooded with gratitude and regret but the young druid would not go near fire at all, even if it was electric.

Parlina frowned at that. "People shouldn't be categorised by their birth, whether they can cast or where they are from. Bow has a short attention span because that's who she is. No more, no less," she quipped back, as only young adults seem to be able to without looking a fool.

The flash made her look suspiciously at him, but it was hardly the strangest thing he had done today, was it? "Check for what?" she asked, going to stand and get away from him. If it was checking on her, she didn't want to be around for the results.

Parlina 's eyes lit up in dawning at that. It was a racial ability; that made much more sense, though she did not halt in her rising, feeling a twinge of sympathy for them both. She knew ruthless tactics. Her own mother... She closed her eyes tightly, trying to force away the memories.

"I wish you luck against such odds, Blade. Those who are vicious enough to try and stop change for the better ought to be stopped right in their tracks," she agreed, not realising she had stopped at standing and was now seeing about eye-to-eye with the seated Dark. "You both deserve better than the lives you have, but so much effort must go into that..."

Lady Princess Rhianna Thros, hiding away on another world, to avoid the perils of destiny and entrapping ideals back home. Oh yes, she wished them luck for it they could succeed, surely there was hope for her cause.

Parlina It seemed that she wasn't quite without proper sensibilities after all, pleased that Blade seemed so earnestly thankful for her words.

Then the conversation turned upon her and her fear shone through unfailingly for a moment before she started to walk away, shaking her head. "I can't talk about that. I... am alone in my trials," she replied with a slight snip to her voice that was borne from pain rather than irritation. If Blade knew the difference.

Parlina paused in her retreating footsteps, closing her green eyes to stop the tears from falling down. There was a small child inside her that wanted to cling to aid desperately, but this man had his own people to protect; his own war to win. "You are fighting for liberation of your people, whereas I am hunted because mine want to enact change. I've lost so much simply because of who my parents are," she explained, albeit vaguely.

She couldn't recall the last time a stranger had wished her luck with anything, nodding slightly but still facing away from him. "Thank you, and may the Divine light yours, Blade. Her serenity blesses the true heroes."

Parlina turned to face him then, a hand by her eyes to prevent the tears from falling. So far, she seemed to be managing. "Sometimes those who are powerful neglect those in need the most," she said quietly, almost to herself before bringing her eyes to meet his, their colour now an aquamarine. "You are very kind, like your sister. I only wish my King was as gracious as your Queen appears to me."

He had much on his plate; Blade had admitted as much but still she nodded, taking his offer to heart. "I will seek you both out if my 'kind' soul gets a bit lost," she promised with a slightly forced but nonetheless meaningful smile.
