Name: Rynhart
Race/Species: Khrevahkian Shapeshifter
Place of Birth: Aelora
Place of Residence: Windcrest Temple, Terra
Occupation(s): Patronus Warrior, Swordsman Trainer

Rynhart's physical appearance can vary greatly, given his shapeshifter nature. However his preferred form is that of an elven man. For all intents and purposes, he can quite thoroughly pass as an elf – albeit a rugged one - and is typically characterized with angular features, pointed ears, and blonde hair.

Rynhart is a master swordsman and favors two-handed weapons. Rynhart is also an experienced and well versed practitioner of magic; though, he lacks the diversity of his sister Rhea and favors the fields of bardic magic, chaos magic and curses. Rynhart is a veteran at seeing through illusions due to his longstanding experience with Rhea, a master illusionist.

Rynhart's species provides him with an innate resistance to magic based effects.

So begins...

Outside the temple laying stretched on the ground was a massive purple dragon, it's form glittering and sheening in the brilliance of the sunlight and it's body rippled with it's immense and powerfully muscular structure. At the sight of Dallas it raised it's head up and observed her with emerald slit eyes and vicious fangs.

Leaned lightly against the dragons shoulder was a woman that appeared similar to elven origins but there was something a touch more exotic about her physical features that suggested maybe there was more to her than there seemed. Her hair was a light sandy color so faint that it was nearly white and probably would look as such outside of the sunlight and her own eyes matched the vibrant emerald glow of the dragons. She was clothed in brilliant and expensively adorned red robes and had a scepter in hand.

The woman leaned against the dragon seemed perplexed at Dallas' reaction as she moved away from the dragon to stand on her own. As she did so the massive purple dragon rose to stand, towering over the woman at it's side. As it did so it's form began to ripple beneath a growing cloud of purple miasma that seemed to engulf it in it's entirety. As the cloud cleared a man was standing at the woman's side. Taller and more muscular built than the more athletic female.

His hair was stark white and his eyes retained that emerald glow. His outfit was clearly coordinated to match the woman's, and the floor length coat had the same brilliant reds and exotic ornaments. In place of her scepter however, the male had a broadsword strapped across his back.

The pair began to make their approach together as the male offered a humble bow at the waist. It was the woman who spoke first. "We come at the request of The Storm." she said.

The male spoke then as he straightened himself, "And you must be the priestess?" he inquired. Their voices had a drall to them almost, unhuried yet still carrying purpose with them. They held an exotic flair, though the accent was a strange one and likely unfamiliar to anyone that wasn't familiar with draconic dialect.

They both seemed a touch perplexed, but didn't question the priestess' less than confident greeting.

The pair seemed to glance at each other briefly, though no words were spoken a great deal seemed to be exchanged in that scarcest of looks. The female spoke again now, "You have our sincerest apologies for our unexpected arrival. This is my brother Rynhart, and I am Rhea." she offered.

"It was not our wish to frighten you." she explained. Her words were gentle, though still carrying that unhurried drawl to them. They had seen many years come and go and the passing of time no longer held as strong of a sway over them as it once had.

The male spoke now as he continued, "We would request admittance to your dwelling, to await her return." he said.

The two made to move after Dallas as their eyes shifted to take in the coridore, pausing briefly in spots and exchanging glances. Again it was Rhea that spoke first, "Crude. The years have been unwell to her it seems." she said.

Rynhart simply replied, "It is to be expected, mortals only fade with the passing of time." he replied. Though whether dragons were truly immortal was quite debatable. They often claim as such, and if they can live for millions of years, who's going to be around to question them.

Rhea spoke now to the priestess. "Perhaps my brother and I can be of assistance with your defenses." she said. Arrogance was often a flaw of her kind, and one that she was far from exempt from.

As they moved along Rhea spoke again, her tone casual though with that hint of gentleness to it again. "How is The-" she paused a moment as she cut off what she was about to say. "Tuhmeeuh" she said carefully, drawling the name out as if sounding it on her tongue for the first time.

"Have you fought together long?" Rynhart asked. His tone was more level then his sisters, less drawn out, but still unhurried.

The pair exchanged glances again as Rynhart spoke. "This Orsa. Why do you battle them?" he asked.

Rhea interceded at this point, "Dear brother, if Taima has given her support, the cause is a just one." she said as she moved to slip an arm around Rynhart's waist who likewise slipped an arm around Rhea's shoulders.

Rynhart spoke again, disregarding his sister's interjection, "That is what you fight, but not why." he said. Mortal affairs were a constant source of intrigue and amazement to him, and it never ceased to amaze him what mortals will come together to accomplish.

Rhea lay her head on her brother shoulder allowing him to indulge his curiousity.

Rhea shifted her eyes to the new arrival, the emerald glow more than evident as she examined him with a brief look of puzzlement. "That one smells of power, and of her." she said.

Rynhart gave his glance to Dallas instead, a brief raise of an eye, as if waiting for some explanation or introduction as to who or what Rahal was.

Rhea seemed thoroughly perplexed at Rahal's sudden fit of awkwardness. "Well I must say, I didn't expect our dear Taima to ever take a partner." she said as she noted the flush in Rahal's face, thoroughly misunderstanding the actual reasoning behind it. They could smell magic, but in these forms their actual sense of smell was no better than the elven counterparts of the forms they had chosen.

Rynhart likewise seemed perplexed, as he his arm rested around his sisters shoulders. "And a human no less." he said, seeming confused by this information.

"Oh.. my sincerest appologies." Rhea said as she glanced between the two. Though the brief look of perplexity remained on her face. Mortals were a confusing thing at times. She looked about to speak again when Rynhart promptly interceded

"Not now sister, I think perhaps we have troubled the priestess quite enough for the day." Rynhart said, interupting whatever Rhea was about to say.

To Rahal he answered the man's earlier question. "Our length of visit is undetermined. We would have come sooner had we not had our own affairs to tend to." he explained.

Rhea continued at this point, "I daresay we will be around for a time. Unless we get called away." she said.

Rynhart shifted his attention from Rahal to Dallas, "Your hospitality is appreciated. Though for the time being, I think my sister and I shall go see the sights as one might say." he said as he exchanged a glance with Rhea.

They had caught the shift in behavior between the two humans and perhaps it would be best to leave the mortals to process and adjust to their presence in private. "I daresay that is a delightful idea." she continued as she rested her head on Rynhart's shoulder once more, her arms coming to hook around his arm.

Rynhart spoke to Rahal briefly once more, "I trust your question can be answered by the priestess, for now we will take our leave." he said as he offered a slight bow and turned to depart, his arm still around Rhea's shoulders.

As Rhea and Rynhart reached the table it was the woman who would speak as she offered a greeting to Sion, "Good evening, I am Rhea, and this is my brother Rynhart." She introduced with a delighted smile. "I really must inquire, do you play here often?" she asked. Her words though delighted and pleased had an odd drawl to them, as if even her words were unhurried and they held a strange accent to them, likely unrecognizable save for those familiar with draconic dialect.

Rynhart would intercede at this point, "Do forgive our abruptness. Your playing is quite remarkable though." he agreed.

Rhea seemed a touch downheartened at Sion's answer, "Oh what a terrible shame. I would be delighted to hear you play again." she said.

"And why yes, thank you." she said as she and Rynhart moved to join Sion at the table.

Rynhart picked up the conversation again as he sat as well. "No need to be modest." he said. His voice was leveler than Rhea's, though still had that odd drawl to it. Calm and unhurried by the world.

"Perhaps you would play for us again?" Rhea asked.

Rhea and Rynhart exchanged a brief glance and though no words were spoken a great deal seemed to pass between the two in that brief moment.

"Does our presence trouble you?" Rynart inquired finally.

"Do forgive our forwardness. We have caused you discomfort." Rhea said seeming disheartened again. To have caused such unease to the remarkable violin player.

Whether they were just being polite, or if some of the unease from his brief melody had influenced them was uncertain.

"It has been a long time since I was moved by such playing, I merely wished to meet the one to produce such lovely sound." Rhea explained.

Rhea smiled now at Sion's question. "Music is one of the few delights in the world capable of passing the long years." she said.

Rynhart offered his own answer as well. "While I do appreciate such things, I lack my sisters passion for it I am afraid." he explained.

Rhea arched an eye ever so lightly, "Nonsense brother, I have heard you play for me and if that is not passion then I know not what is." she said lightly.

To Sion Rhea asked, "Have you been playing long? I find it unusual to find such talent within a simple mortal. Though we have been out of the world for a spell and talent can be found in the most unusual of places at times." she said.

Two figures made their way down the street together as they approached the bar. Rhea had her arm around Rynhart's waist, and Rynhart had his arm draped over Rhea's shoulders. As they drew near to the scene Rhea looked puzzled and perhaps a touch perplexed.

"Should we?" Rhea asked, her voice seeming to hold an odd drawl to it, unhurried in her speech. It also had a strange accent, likely unfamiliar to any unfamiliar with draconic dialect.

"No sister, we are not here to meddle in the private affairs of the mortals. Such a perplexing thing though, such short lives to be waisted in such manners." he said with a wave towards the dead bodies as they passed the scene and moved to enter the bar.

Two figures would be sitting peacefully outside of the temple entrance. Both were rather extravagantly dressed and adorned in expensive looking fabrics and various ornaments. Dragons did enjoy their wealth...

The male was the more muscular built of the pair and his hair solid white. He looked the part of an elf, though closer inspection left a slightly more exotic look to his features and his eyes glowed a rather unusual luminescent green. The female was much more lithe than her brother and her hair a lighter sandy color, though nearly white and her eyes matched the same green glow as the males. So alike were they that it was hard to mistake them as anything but siblings.

The male, Rynhart was leaned against the temple wall playing a rather complex piece on a small flute and the woman, Rhea was lying in the grass with her arms folded behind her head as she watched the night sky overhead. The notes from the flute would likely reach the arriving group long before the source of the music could be detected in the darkness.

The pair had been residing there for the beter part of a week and still no sign of Taima. Though they were patient, the passing of time didn't mean as much to them as it did to most.
