Treia Bracken

A tall, lanky brown haired man who thinks fast but speaks less.

0 · 874 views · located in Wing City Lake: Beach

a character in “The Multiverse”, as played by HitoriRaven

Description

Credits for pic go to curt. Great artist, cool guy. Also, he's cute. Tell him I said so. I'm also jacking his profile style for this.

Name:Treia Bracken (Treh-ya) (Obvious.)
Age: 20
Gender: Male
Species/Racial Origin: Human / Caucasian
Social Class/Community Status: Lower class, militant
Language: English, High school Spanish

Physical Description

5"10, 150 lbs, he is more or less the underweight beanpole you'd expect him to be. Treia has the common man's hazel-brown hair with matching eyes of the same colour. He likes to keep it long enough, but never past his eyebrows. That'd impair his vision and make him look emo, and that wasn't his thing. He has muscle, but not a lot, so he prefers the least amount of equipment possible. Treia tries to speak less when around people or situations he isn't familiar with, but is quite open with his friends.

He tends to wear a simple white undershirt and matching boxers when casual. Otherwise, he's probably in his uniform.

Skills/Talents: Thinks quickly. He hates studying and the like, but could probably do any educational work you asked of him. Just ask nicely.
Favourites/Likes: Smart people. Staying alive, enjoying life, staying in the background.
Most Hated/Dislikes: Stupidity, showing off, telling people what to do.
Fears: Large body of water.
Religion/Beliefs: Atheist
Sexual Preference/Experience/Values: Straight
Education/Special Training: High School Education, 2 years of college.
Place/Type of Residence: Military bunker
Occupation: Soldier

The man standing behind the rest of the group, didn't say a thing. He gave a nod, not that it mattered. The Lt. probably couldn't see him anyway. He fingered the pendant around his neck, anxious to get started. He glanced over the other people again. Boy, were some of them loud - and obnoxious, to boot.

Treia Bracken immediately slid in between the rest of the crowd, walking casually towards the pile. The only thing he said was, "Dibs." He hopped onto the truck, moving aside pistols until he found two he liked. He was surprised to find an RPG peeking out from under, but didn't touch it. He also didn't say anything. He dropped off the truck.

Treia hurried towards the barricades mentioned. The people here were crazy, so fuck them. The faster he could get over there, the less time he'd have to spend with the others. He holstered both his pistols, and stood waiting. He did take notice of the guy with the RPG. The hell? Who the fuck sticks an RPG in the back of a truck? With a sigh, he also took note of the crazies, aka, the woman with a stick (maybe she was implying something) and the douche who apparently thought he was too good for a gun. Fucker.

Were these people idiots? How he had gotten himself into this, he would never know. After all, the man had clearly said he would BRING ammunition. That meant the guns were loaded, yet these people still tried shooting their guns? Of course they weren't loaded, probably so they wouldn't kill themselves or someone else before training even started. Treia sighed, but declined to comment, except to Patchi. "I guess." What a tool. He probably thought he looked cool. Given, he himself had also taken dual pistols, but still. Treia grabbed two magazines, loading both his pistols. He pulled one out, and aimed down the sights, firing a few shots at the target across from him.

When Kamala approached him and asked his question, Treia allowed himself a small smile. For whatever reason, he had been placed in the stupid squad. Might've been that test he had slept through? Hmm. "Yeah, idiots. No kidding. Calm the fuck down, man. My name's Treia. And yes, I more or less know what I'm doing. Wish I could say the same for everyone else." For example, the girl, making shooting noises, and the still unarmed man. What he was planning, no one could guess. Treia shot off a few more, hitting all over the target, before walking back to the ammo case. His ears were ringing, and he was pleasantly surprised to find earplugs. No use in going deaf. As such, he missed Rescha's cries.

Screams filtered through his wonderful new plugs. What the fuck was that? He turned to see Kamala without pants and the a screaming Dragon. He almost opened his mouth to comment, but merely pinched his temples. When he looked up, Kamala's pants were still on, and Dragon was still an idiot. The girl, he didn't even know what to say. He walked back over to the range, nodding at Kamala. "Maybe we can be friends. I'm going to have to say that I'd prefer you to everyone else here."

He decided to actually speak, and yelled down at Dragon. "Hey, you fucker. Move your ass before one of us hits you. By accident." To make his point, he shot a few bullets in his direction, but made sure to fire away from the man.

"Kam, then." Treia's plugged ears perked up. Not at the assholes comment, well, that too - but he could get split up? Less idiots to deal with. He walked back over with Kamala, removing his earplugs and pocketing them. They could come in handy later. He decided he would listen and wait, before deciding where to go.

What? The tool, the douche and the woman he didn't know? Ugh. "Fuck." he swore under his breath. The woman, she seemed smart, but she also seemed like a hardass or a kissass. He wasn't quite sure yet. But she was probably the smarter of the other three, so he'd talk to her when he got the chance. Otherwise, Treia just stared at Samson. Paying attention would probably be a good idea, so he shut up.

Treia shot a grin at Kam. "At least I only have to worry about pissing off one person, that crazy berserker. You gotta worry about the leader man AND the crazy Ruskie. Don't piss him off. If there's one thing he can do, he can shoot." He gave his new friend a return pat on the back before taking the lead to head to the box and pulling out the GPS. "I guess we follow this." he called to his new group.

Treia still wanted to talk to the woman, but he had decided on hardass. She was pretty fucking serious. He should probably do that, but maybe he'd get something done. She'd probably be less likely to kill him then. He began jogging towards the dummies, and squinted to see if he could see anything. "Let's all get along now." he called backwards.

Ugh. Just watching the two other men gave him a headache. There was no reason for him to pull off his shirt; it wasn't that hot and he hadn't done that much work. Treia sighed, but as the dirt came up, he observed the door. Despite the order from Bryanne, he made to open the door instead, pulling it open. "I got it."

Treia was glad the two fighters weren't targeting him. He probably didn't look like much of a threat, and he didn't have enough muscles to want to show them off by stripping. He followed after Dragon and Bryanne, observing the room. He glanced at the portal but his interest was taken by the keypad. By their de facto commander's request, he didn't touch anything.

"Looks like we need a code. Was it on a paper we got?"

Treia grinned slightly. "Man, what an idiot." He walked over, observing the keypad. "I could give it a shot. At least, I won't smash it like the other two might." He thought for a second, then pulled out a magazine from his gun. He found the thinnest part he could, and was about to try to jam it open when the door opened again. "Blue, green, red. Got it." He pressed the buttons. "What's the number pad for then?"

Treia grimaced as the alarm rang through his ears. Idiots. You couldn't work with em, you couldn't open a door with em. He ran over to Patchi, snatching the paper up, and doubled back to the door. "Sorry, but this is probably our only chance to get wherever we're going, and if we're gonna do it, we do it right." He scrambled to read the paper, searching for the override code.

There it was. 123456789. A code that an idiot might use on his suitcase. If it had a 9 number lock. Or maybe the number for idiots with a keypad. Hm. No matter. Treia quickly typed in the code, and was surprised to hear the alarm shut off. The circular portal shaped thing seemed that it was actually a portal!

The portal lit up with blue energy, and the same female voice spoke again. "Thank you for thinking with portals. Have a nice day, and remember, the cake is a lie."

Treia was content to let Patchi go first, and followed after. Damned if he didn't do something cool, and he drew his pistol. With that, he let out a breath and dived through the thing, disappearing.

Thankfully, Treia had dived through, and thus he was already topsy-turvy before he went through. He came up from his roll only a bit dizzy, and managed to holster his pistol before stumbling away from Patchi's pool of stomach contents. "That's fucking disgusting, man. Where are we?" He gave a woozy look around.

What the hell? Dark Woods Outpost? Guess that made sense. He got up, dusted himself off, and walked over to the man. He would've complained about the idiots in this group, but there was probably no point in that. "Lead the way." As an afterthought, he added, "Why were we chosen for this, if I may ask?"

"Haha, I fucking bet, you prick." he muttered under his breath. "Above average? Above average stupidity. Except for me, Kam, and that lady. How the hell did we get here? Sides, these are standard issue equipment. Maybe he thinks we wouldn't notice? Fishy..." Vaguely thinking about it, Treia followed the man past the facility, taking note of all of them and storing them away in case it was important.

"Oh, you fuckers. We have to share a room. So much for above average, again. What happens when you get smarter people who actually get what you're saying?" Treia was mad, but he didn't speak loud enough for the man to hear. Thankfully, he noticed that the others had arrived. He would hope that Kam was onboard, and barring that, maybe Bryanne would be fine too. He waited for everyone else to pick, but was ready to interject.
