Amarian Republic

The Amarian Race was born on the planet Amara in the Onyx Galaxy. Given the Physically and Mentally demanding nature of Amara, Amarians adapted by becoming physically stronger and Mentally sharper. This is also an apparent difference in their appearance as well, given the fact Amarians are mostly muscle with only 1% of body fat. The average height for an Amarian, however, is only 5ft8in in Males and 5ft6in in Females. Males also have slightly more defined muscle tone then Females, but do not let this fool you, Amarian women are just as strong, and in some cases stronger, then Amarian men. Apart form that Amarian's look pretty much Human, and tend to have more human personalities as well. Given the mental sharpness of the Amarians they tend to think more rationally as well as logically, making them superior tacticians and excellent diplomats. The average lifespan of an Amarian is roughly 600 years on Amara, which translates to 6,000 earth years. The Amarians worship four Gods which are; Kilane, The Goddess of Wisdom, Ko'vask, the God of power, Yu'shal, the Goddess of Compassion, and the King of the Gods Ro'shan, also known as the Imperial God. The Amarians are also divided in to different species or Clans, which are as follows:

Bu'shan: Known for their impressive intellect, the Bu'shan make excellent politicians. The Bu'shan mostly follow the teachings of the Amarian Goddess of Wisdom, Kilane. It is said they Kilane created the Bu'shan species of Amarian. In appearance they seem more human then the other species, natural hair and eye colors range form brown to blonde and blue to green. The natural skin color of the Bu'shan is a Khaki color.

Tu'kat: Known for their incredible strength, the Tu'kat thrive as warriors and laborers. The Tu'kat mostly follow the teachings of the God of Power Ko'vask, It is believed that Ko'vask create the species known as Tu'kat. In appearance they seem human although their natural eye color is turquoise or orange. The natural skin color of the Tu'kat is a pale almost white color.

Fa'kals: the Fa'kals are known for their impressive healing techniques and astounding medical technology. They mostly follow the teachings of Yu'shal, in showing compassion to all who seek it. It is believed that Yu'shal created the Fa'kals to be the healer species to the Amarian race. In appearance they are still human but have a natural hair color of blue or red. The natural skin color of the Fa'kals is a dark brown color.

Ro'kash: the Ro'kash,also know as Imperial Amarians, are known for the combination of Strength, intellect and physical attributes. Ro'kash are generally found in positions of leadership both on the battlefield. Ro'kash follow the teachings of the Imperial God, Ro'shan, and differ in appearance then other Amarians. Their height is usually between 6ft7in and 8ft, hair color is mostly white or black, and eye color is Crimson or Gold. The Natural skin color of the Ro'kash is a light tan.

Politics

Amarian Republic is ran by a Parliamentary Democracy, with the House of Citizens and the House of Militia. The House of Citizens looks out for the well being of the economic of the Republic while being mindful of the tensions between the Republic and other races. While the House of Militia look out more for the well being of the Citizens while being mindful of the economical standings of the Republic as a whole. Each house is tasked with trying to better the Republic as a whole, whether it be through means of militaristic warfare or peaceful delegations, while the Prime Minister is responsible for deciding on which one is more important at the time. Although historically, the Parliament has leaned more towards peaceful delegations then war. Elections take place every 4 years for a new Prime Minister and High Commander, while elections for members of each house takes place every 6 years, only Prime Ministers are able to run as candidates a limitless number of times while High Commanders and house members can only run between 2 to 6 times.

Ambassadors are a common thing in Parliaments House of Citizens. Their focus is securing peaceful trade with foreign nations, as well as preventing needless wars. Ambassadors tend to have no military background to speak of, and see the situation from a civilians point of view. (NOTE: as Ambassadors are added I will update the list below.) Below is a List of current and former Ambassadors for the Republic:

Military

The Amarian Military is divided into several factions. Each tribe has it's own style of warfare and technology, although they have the same ranking structure, starting with the Enlistment ranks which are: Recruit(E0), Private(E1), Private First Class(E3), Sargent(E4), Sargent First Class (E5), Staff Sargent(E6), and Sargent Major(E7). Next is the Officer ranks which are: Lieutenant Grade 2(O1) Lieutenant Grade 2(O2) Warrant Officer(O3), Lieutenant Colonel(O4), Colonel(O5), Lieutenant Major(O6), and Major(O7). Last is the Commander ranks, which are: Brigadier General(C1), Lieutenant General(C2), Colonel General(C3), Major General(C4), General(C5), Commander General(C6), and General of the Militia(C7). Above those ranks is the High Commander which is an elected position, granted by a majority vote from Parliament.
The Factions of the Military are less simple, because each has adopted a unique style of warfare which reflects in its technology. The first of the factions is the Amarian Navy, known for its massive ships and impressive weaponry. the Navy's motto is, "Show no Mercy, Expect no Mercy." The Navy has developed weapons to not only combat other star ships but provide support to the troops on the ground. The Second faction is the Amarian Army, known for it's impressive tanks, and anti tank warfare, which make the Army a force to reckon with. The Army's motto is, "Shot first, Die last." The army has also developed technology to provide support to the Navy from the ground of a planet. The third faction is the Amarian Air Force, known for it's fighters, interceptors, and ACMs. It has the ability to engage an enemy both in space and in the atmosphere of a planet. The Air Force motto it "Fly high, and strike hard." The fourth faction is the Amarian Marine Corps, they are the foot soldiers of the Amarian military. The Marines motto is "Do or Die." Known for both their firearms, and advanced weapons known as Armored Combat Machines, or ACM, they support the Army and Air Force by eliminating targets they can't get to. The Fifth faction is the Amarian High Guard, they are the guards of the Prime Minister and the High Commander. They aren't really known for much just flashy looking armor, and their use of Gunblades. the Sixth faction is SOAD, or Special Operations Assault Division, known for their Long range weaponry. Apart from the name and the knowledge of their weapons nothing is really known about them. The Seventh, and final, Faction is CODOS, Covert Orbital Drop Operations Specialist. Their motto is, "Strike without mercy, Kill without remorse." CODOS teams consist of members mostly form the Ro'kash clan.

Intelligence services.

The Amarian Republic only has one as of now, and that is the Special Intelligence Service or SIS. The SIS uses spy drones and actually people to gather intelligence on enemy factions or nations. At this moment there is no list of Active SIS members, due to the extreme risk they face on a daily basis.

Technology

Most of the Amarians technology centers around a crystal found all over Amara called a Thermal Crystal. Thermal Crystals produce a limitless supply of both heat and electricity, making them ideal for power and keeping you warm. Smaller crystals are used as a light source on Amara while larger ones are used to power star ships and what-not. The larger crystals produce a inaudible frequency that Amarian scientist have discovered to be the cause of it's power, and by sending this frequency back at the crystal they are able to increase the power out-put of it simply by adjusting the wavelength of the frequency. In addition to this the Republic also has Ion technology with is used as a sub light propulsion, i.e. Hall thrusters,and most weapons i.e. Particle beam weapons. However, given the slow nature of Hall thrusters and Ion Thrusters fighters still rely on heat engines for propulsion. For faster then light travel the republic relies on a Hyper Drive System, HDS, to propel star ships across the universe in a straight line within a matter of seconds.

Ships

All Amarian ships share similar details, rounded edges and multiple levels stacked either on top or on the sides of the main part of the ship. Most are pointed at the tip. Carriers and Marauder class ships are the only exception, they have a gap in between the points on the front of the vessel. Carriers have their hanger doors are located on the front of the ship, there for the pointed tip opens up into the Hanger. Marauder class ships, have a massive cannon embedded in the tip. and the rounded barrel is visible in between the pointed ends. They seem rectangular form an top view with the points seeming to angle out from the center of the ships towards the bow, while more triangular shapes jet out towards the thrusters on the stern. The colors of each ship vary base on the branch they below too, although the Markings on the ships are all in gold. Cannons such as PAC or MAC cannon's are stationary using a barrel that has be integrated into the ships bow. It is the same for Mass Cannons and Dark Matter Cannons on Marauder class ships.
All Amarian vessel's are protected by two types of Shielding. The first is a Ion Flux Field, which infuses Ion's with an Electric field, creating an invisible barrier that can stop most projectiles, or slow them down. The second Defensive measure is Polarized Hull Armor designed to adsorb most energy based weaponry.

Shunti (Fighters): The Smallest class of ships used solely by the military for their maneuverability, and high speeds. Capable of both Atmospheric combat, and space warfare, fighters are a great way to provide support for larger ships as well as troops on the ground.

Sjoran (Frigate Class): The second smallest of the ships are used for both Military, and civilian purposes. Military specifications label a Frigate more as troops transports then anything, Although some frigates are used as warships. Average size of a Frigate is 1000m long, 900m wide, and 950m tall.

Ban'tor (Cruiser Class): Cruisers are classified into three types, Light, Support, and Heavy. the difference is in the weaponry they posses. Light Cruisers use short range ship to ship weapons such as, Ion beam cannons, 150mm Gatling guns, and short range missiles. Support Cruisers carry supporting and long range weapons such as, Railguns, Mac Cannons, and Space to Ground Artillery Coilguns (SGAC). While Heavy Cruisers use larger, more powerful, weapons such as, Particle beam cannons, and Lohengrins, which are basically over sized Anti-particle beam cannons. Average size of a Cruiser Class is 2000m long, 1500m wide, and 1200m tall.

Sjor'grata (Warship Class): Warship's are the bulk of the Amarian military, carrying a wide variety of weapons making them perfectly suited for combat in both space and the oceans of planets. Average sized of a Warship Class is, 1500m long, 1200m wide, and 1000m tall.

Matur'ka (Carrier Class): Carrier class ships are just as they sound, they are carriers for Fighters, drop ships, and ACMs, as well as troops. The weapons on Carriers are strictly defensive weapons. Average size of a carrier is 25000-30000m long, 15000-22000m wide, 12000-20000m tall.

Drakro'shujon (Dreadnaught Class): Like Cruisers Dreadnaughts are classified into three types, Light, Classic, and heavy. Although the only difference is the size in this case, which is as follow: Light Dreadnaughts are only, 1500m long, 1200m wide, and 1000m tall; Classic Dreadnaughts are, 2000m long, 1800m wide, and 1500m tall; Heavy Dreadnaughts are, 4000m long, 3400m wide, and 3000m tall.

Hiju'kash (Capital Class): These are the Second Largest ships in the Republic, with a staggering size of, 60,000m long, 10,500m wide, and 15,000m tall.

Krat'shij (Marauder Class): The Largest ships in the fleet, the presence of a Marauder class ship can boost moral of the other ships and troops threw the roof, so to speak. Standing at 90,000m long, 70,000m wide, and 40,000m tall. This class of ship also uses experimental weapons as well as existing weapons, All Marauder class ships carry one of two weapons, the first of which is known as a Particle Acceleration Cannon, which fire a small projectile at FTL speeds. Or a Dark Matter Acceleration Cannon, which does the same but to Dark Matter instead of a small mass object.

Stealth Class: These ships are mostly found in a Frigate or Cruiser class, and come equipped with Cloaking Generators. The Cloaking field renders then invisible to Sensors and Optics, but makes it impossible to enter Hyper Space while active. This means jumping into enemy sensors will create a blip, until the field is up.

Drone Class: These ships are usually found in a Carrier or Cruiser class, and are hollowed out to allow for a small skeleton crew to run. This is done so the ships can carry in upwards of 30,000 Drones, as either Fighters or Humanoid, depending on the assignment. These ships usually take on Medical support or Disaster Relief. Although, they have been use to protect Diplomats before.

CODOS Specialty Ships
Like any good Special Forces division CODOS has it's own unique ships, these ships are made to be stealthy fast and hard to sink. Some of their ships are apart of the above mentioned classes, however, there are differences. All ships under CODOS have the ability to jump greater distances then the regular military, this means even though the regular military can jump half way across a galaxy, CODOS ships can jump the whole galaxy. This is a list of all of CODOS ships in use today:

Deep Space Raider Class: Just as the name suggests, these ships are designed for extended missions in deep space, either deep behind enemy lines or far enough away from any support.

Fast Attack Class: Again the name is self explanatory, they are not front line ships, but are used to flank enemies. This causes some confusion int he enemy ranks.

Strike Cruiser: Strike Cruisers are just like they sound, they're built for strike missions and usually have more firepower and can jump multiple times due to a fast recharging Hyper Core.

Drop Carrier: These are the bulk of the CODOS ships, they carry the CODOS troops to and from a planetary battlefield. They are called Drop Carriers, because they do not have your typical hanger bay. The bottom of the carrier is littered with small man sized hanger doors, these doors are called Launch Tubes, and are used to launch CODOS troops from space to a planet below.

Other notable space faring vessels would be The Gods Flower named for it's massive arms stretching out to 900,000m, that act as housing for millions of ships and trillions of troops. This station is the only one of it's kind in existence today in the Republic, it is used for defense of Amara and nothing more. However, it's firepower is equal to the entire Republic Armada, making it a powerful deterrent to would be invaders. This station stands at, 500,000m tall, with a base compartment on the rear added another 50,000m to the over all length, bring it it to a total of 950,000m long.


ACM, Armored Combat Machines

ACMs are humanoid machines in which a pilot controls on the battle field. Ranging form Close Quarters Battles to Artillery, and everything in between, ACMs are versatile and effective. The ACM is also used for construction purposes given this size and abilities. ACMs stand at 900m tall, with an width of 200m at the core. The ACMs in use today are as follows:

C-101 Katana: Is a lightweight mecca designed for long range combat, equipped with a 50mm Coil-rifle. It is able to deal high damage at ranges of over 3000m.

C-201 Outcast: The Outcast is a close quarters mecca equipped with a rapid fire plasma SMG. The Outcast is the most maneuverable ACM use by the Republic today, able to weave in and out of buildings with ease.

C-400 Excalibur: Is a heavy arms mecca equipped with two shoulder mounted Particle beam howitzers. It is capable of dealing damage in a maximum area of 500m around it's target, making it an area effect weapon.

Tanks

Here is a list of tanks in use today by the Republic. These tanks generally carry Energy based cannons. However, if the mission calls for it they can switch out for Conventional Projectile based cannons, with the exception for the Mac Cannons, which are always Energy Based.

X-101 Armas: The Armas is a light tank, used with close range artillery cannons. Ideal for support missions or invasions.

X-186 Dragoon; The Dragoon is a Heavy tank equipped with long range artillery cannons, ideal for bombardments, as well as support missions.

EX-01 Rapture: The Rapture is an experimental tank loaded with experimental weapons, Ideally small scale Mac Cannons.

X-298 Drake: The Drake is a balanced tank carrying two close range cannons, and one long range artillery cannon. This is the bulk of the Army's tanks.

CODOS Exo-suits.

All CODOS Exo-suits are made to withstand extreme temperatures, harsh environments, brutal impacts, and rust. Veteran CODOS have a customized Exo-suit, Known as a Exo-Custom. The base models are as follows:

EXO-Ragnarok: The Ragnarok is a massive suit built around brute strength at the expense of speed.

EXO-Egis: The Egis is a small, lightweight suit built for speed at the expense of strength.

EXO-Artemus: The Artemus is the most common suit in use today, because it is a well rounded and balanced suit built for speed and strength.

Notable Weapons
These are weapons that have be in Amarian culture for generations, though they have evolved with the times, their purpose is still the same.
These weapons are as follow:

Fakla'shun (Short Sword) Short swords have been carried in battle by the Ro'kash, and the Tu'kat throughout Amarian history. Now these swords use concentrated beams in place of steel blades, and are commonly called Beam Swords.

Ro'kashka (staff sword) Staff Swords were carried by the Ro'kash, during what is called the Imperial Era of Amara. They were wielded by Imperial Guards and used solely to defend the Emperor and his family. Now their use the same Beam technology and are commonly used by Ro'kash commanders using the same fighting style, and are commonly called Energy Blades.


Architect

The Architect of the Amarians closely resembles the Ancient Mayans of Earth, but cities and towns are surrounded by massive walls used to keep the violent, primal wildlife out. Although they materials used are Titanium, Tungsten, and Mythanite. Given that the above mentioned metals are common on Amara, almost everything is constructed from them. Other common metals on Amara are, gold platinum, zinc, and Dragonite, each with their own unique color. This makes for more lively looking structures much like The Capital city Kun'shal, or as visitors call it Eldorado, for it's golden buildings and walls.

History

The Amarian Republic has stood for more then 400,000 years. During those years they have boomed into a impressive galactic civilization, prolonging their lives though medicine and technology. However, they weren't always so peaceful, before the Republic was formed the Ro'kash ruled over all of Amara, during what is called the Imperial Era, which lasted for more then 600,000 years before the Amarian revolution. Remnants of the old Empire are still around today, and are found mostly among the Ro'kash, as traditions, rituals, and culture. With Imperial extremist still around, known by common saying, Kartioch Ro'kash, which means Long Live The Imperials. It's vital for the Prime Minister and Parliament to keep the peace. However, the Extremist have been rather quite as of late, and this breeds hope in the eyes of Parliament, not so much with Darius. It is because of the history of the Ro'kash, that none of them have held a seat of power in the republic.

Culture

The Teaching's of the Gods and Goddess are a big part of their Culture, Traditions, and Beliefs. The Teachings are as follow:

Teachings of Kilane: Kilane teaches to be mindful of others, and the history of the fallen. Learn with passion, and take heed to never repeat the mistakes of the past. Followers of Kilane have a tradition of entering college early, and excel in learning everything they choose.

Teachings of Ko'vask: Ko'vask teaches to be strong when strength is necessary, but compassionate to those who seek protection. Followers of Ko'vask can be found in the military's High Guard as well as some in the Army and Navy. They hold some ancient traditions such as the Rite of Power, a ritual where a group 18 year old Amarian will enter the dense jungles with then intent to kill a creature.

Teachings of Yu'shal: Those who follow Yu'shal tend to be come compassionate and understanding of others. Yu'shal teachings to be compassionate to the problems of others, to be understanding of the cries of others, and to be mindful of the needs of others.

Teachings of Ro'Shan: Ro'Shan, the king of the Gods is the cruelest of them in this teachings, demanding perfection in everything they do. Those who follow Ro'shan's teachings appear heartless in a time of crisis, and merciless when confronted in battle. Most Ro'Kash follow his teachings, which makes them formidable enemies, and ruthless monsters on the battlefield.
