Suddenly, the MechAr took control of James' body without warning, quickly cancelling the synchronisation as forcing him to crouch down. These movements occurred just in time as the massive mech which the mercenary was previously piloting was thrown over his head, colliding directly with the android with a large crash, followed by the sounds of crushing and breaking metal as gravity pulled the two metallic entities to the ground. Dumbfounded with what happened, James pulled himself back to his feat as he took a glance over the shoulder to see the victorious mercenary holding his arm out with some device worn on it before looking back to the smoking wreckage.
After a small pause, attempting to process what had just happened, James finally returned to reality. He slowly stepped towards the wrecked mech as the clanging sounds of movement echoed through the deserted insides of the machine. Finally, a metallic hand found it's way back into the open, grasping to the concrete floor in an attempt to pull the rest of the body free. However, this attempt was blocked as James' armoured foot stomped down onto the arm, crushing it into the flooring, preventing any more usage. Luckily, James was still not done. He grabbed onto the arm and pulled the rest of the android from the wreckage, holding it up to prevent it's feet from touching the floor. What a pitiful sight, the artificial skin was ripped and pulled away from the mechanised interior, a couple of the floating lances were nowhere to be seen as the rest struggled to float behind the user.
"What a lovely sight." James scoffed, his helmet retracted back into the MechAr to reveal his grinning face, his eyes filled with hatred as he stared the android in the only working eye. "How about we make sure we have to followers
With that, James used his free arm to snap the legs of the Android before throwing it to the floor in front of the mercenary. "You want in on smashing this piece of shit?"
The android looked up at Russian and decided to speak, no use is delaying the inevitable. "I have a name...and its Hadriel. And if you want to know I am most certainly an android, but I have a soul of a human." She replied without emotion as she stared at him. "Wow...I actually thought you would stay silent. Well some thanks are in order but for the next question: Why target me out of all people to kill? I have to hand it to you, you got some courage in facing one of the best if not the very best mercenary in this universe. So any reason why?"
"This is just purely for revenge. Remember Victoria Primus? When those Imperium types hired you to find a facility? I was there when it happened...I saw what you and those...monsters...did to the people...my friends and family....they wanted peace and in response your actions ended up having them either burned, cleaved in half, shot to bits, or just blown up just because their religion deems it heretical for machines to posses true emotions." She spat out the words looking truly angry. "Oh no...I am so sorry! I feel so bad in killing a whole bunch of people even though its my job...I will cry you a river!" Russian pretended to cry before laughing. "Yeah I could care less, they paid a good amount of money for that job. But thanks for the laugh, but sadly for you it seems that I have no more questions so as thanks I will not kill you immediately and give you...a chance to limit how messy your corpse will be." He spoke as he placed down his explosive and pulled the pin on it before placing a small piece of rubble on it just slightly over the edge which would slowly topple the explosive over given enough time. "With the state your in, you have no chance of getting to the doors of this place in at least five minutes. Well I would love to stay and talk but time is ticking and I have a firework show starting in about five minutes." He laughed as he began to leave. "You gonna stay for the fireworks? Or you got some other things in mind? Anyways I have to thank you for the assist there."
As he turned to leave the warehouse, James' helmet unfolded once more to cover his head. His spear retreated back into the arm it came from as steam slowly raised from the heated metal of the MechAr. "By the way, I'm James Goldsworth. I hope you have a way to get away from here."
For Hadriel, she knew she could not tamper with the explosive safely. Instead she gathered her legs and called one of the lances that were still operational to freeze them into place. They probably knew that she could still get away, but of course she had other ways of escaping a situation like this. She sent a signal to a facility long since abbandoned, knowing full well that it could still be used before warping from the area.
Once the Android was clear of the area, the explosive finally tipped over detonating and exploded into a fiery mushroom cloud of destruction. The roof and walls of the building were blown clean away and bits and pieces were thrown in every direction. Russian began to laugh as he watched the inferno but of course his bad karma kicked in and a piece of his mech flew right into his face sending him flying but he was still alive, albeit with a broken nose. "Gah! Stupid karma!"[/red]
Of course, James snickered at Russian's misfortune as he was struck in the face with a piece of his own armour. While James took the debris head on, bits of the warehouse ricocheting off his armour while larger parts where expelled with a swing of his arm. "Well, I hope you don't have anywhere to go now." James called over the sounds of the explosion and falling debris as he strolled toward Russian, offering a hand to help him up from the ground. "Because I'm in need of some good help. Oh, and are you able to forge some new metal plates for my armour?"
Of course there was just one small trouble with their current situation, everyone in the city must have hear that massive explosion and that meant that the police were on their way. Whatever James wanted to ask Russian, he would have to skip any non-essential details. Russian would rather not be fined and jailed for blowing up a whole warehouse and he could not pin the blame on the android since...she was probably nothing at this point.
At the mention of being able to repair the armour, James held out his hand, holding the metallic plates which were ejected during the fight. "I need these back to perfect condition."
He knocked out the dents, filled in the cracks, and even gave it a little shine to make it as good as new. He then stood up and handed them over to James. "Here you go, good as new."
