A bar spanning the entire left wall carries every alcohol this side of the galaxy has to offer, and some expensive rarities that serve as attractions for the travelers passing through. There are booths and tables scattered throughout the bar and what music might be playing comes from an internal stereo system. The stage and DJ equipment had long been removed as Gambit’s always was considered a bar, not a club. The roof was also reworked to get rid of the unnecessary rafters, opening it up like it was meant to be. Since the bar was beneath the hotel, the rafters weren’t needed and were a little strange looking. Also removed was all of the self-ordering screens since there was plenty of staff to take not just drink orders, but food orders as well.
A series of nine floors is stacked above, outfitted with rooms and service to accommodate them, culminating in a rooftop vista of the weathered city surrounding the building. While the entire structure isn't entirely invincible, it had been reinforced by Trantor Industries' best technologies after repeated attempts (some successful, and some not so much) to upset Gambit's place of business, presumably as a vendetta against the cajun himself.

"By your command." One of the Sergeants said, trying to usher the others out.
"Let's get out of here, before our Confessor changes her mind.."
They started to gather their things, eyes moving to Ayla briefly with trepidation. They wouldn't challenge her authority on this day.

As she continued her visual sweep of the bar however someone caught her eye. A cliche, gaudy fool in a black trench coat was lurking around the perimeter.
An immediate red flag was raised in the Confessor's mind, the stranger wasn't there before the brawl, and innocent patrons didn't usually use distractions to slip in. To make matters worse as Ayla slunk back into the shadows herself he seemed to be talking to himself - or more likely over a comms device. "So you are organized," she thought. This was interesting, but not without its dangers. Not to her of course, but to the mission, everything about this "mysterious stranger" screamed bounty hunter. If she didn't do anything now he could scare the mercenaries off, and put them on the defensive. Or worse still , send them off grid.
Zues' cock..
Ayla quickly weighed her options, she could probably manage to read the man's lips of she focused now, and either hacking into his comms manually, or just snapping his neck, would be simple enough. Most of the Cabal, she figured, would opt for the later two, but she had a better idea. It was the perfect excuse to tap EVE in. Ayla had a much different relationship with the A.I than her peers, although she doubted the machine was completely aware of it. On the surface, sure; overreliance, the occasional skipped heartbeats, and casual, off-duty conversations painted a clear enough picture, but emotion was forgien to EVE.
With a careful whisper the Confessor reached out to what she considered her only friend, "EVE, trench coat, male, my three. He's running comms, I need you to relay them my way, and if I get a good position run facial rec, okay?"

Little Aki complained about wanting to go home while tugging on Spike's outfit.

He angrily stabbed the cancel button on his phone using a studded leather clad thumb, before jamming it back in his pocket! All the while, fixing his icy gaze upon the irritating Aschen Confessor from beneath the folds of his hood, catching her eye. He gave her a sinister smile, and not a well meaning one at that! In fact, it couldn't really be described as a smile... more like a grotesque snarl... revealing a set of shiny, metal teeth! And with this snarl fixed firmly on his cruel face, he melted back into the shadows from whence he had came, disappearing without a trace…!

Shaking with fear, she turned her gaze to the corner of the room… and saw it! HIM! His murderous face heading towards her…! “Fooound yoooou!” it hissed…!
“NOOO!!!!” Fur on end, she jolted upright, charged with a sudden stab of adrenaline as she proceeded to leap across the booths, cradling her throbbing arm like it was a newborn baby as she stepped between people and jumped across tables, spilling drinks and sending cards flying everywhere…!
She had to get away from that face…! “He's found me!” She cried. “I have to get out of here!!!”

"Remy...forgive me. Your kid, too. OBREVU!"
Kurt held out his hand and a series of magic missiles streaked forward, targeting the new villain. "We can't get out of here on foot! Hang on to me, I'll teleport us out!"

"Accessing local civilian communications.... handshake... handshake... second level clear... I am analyzing the data, this individual seems to be communicating with armed personnel under his employ, I have identified the target."
Jazzimore was suddenly highlighted in Ayla's field of view. While EVE began to make her attempts to analyze, and identify the strange man.
"Analysis indicates that this individual is possibly affiliated with either local trafficking, or bounty hunting groups. Facial recognition has turned up little return... I am currently cross referencing all relevant visual data with the central Imperial Intelligence Database, along with the Inter-Solar System Police, and the Galaxy Police databases; I have made little progress in identifying potential matches."
"Threat level; low." EVE Continued, while running the requests in real time, across thousands of local, and foreign databases.
"Recommendation: If you desire additional intelligence, it is recommended that you identify, and interrogate this individual at your leisure, additional intelligence can be acquired by interrogation of the target entity."
"I will attempt to identify, and track the individuals cellular device to facilitate capture."
EVE's monotonous voice chimed in Ayla's ear, even through the chaos that suddenly erupted.
"Advise: Employ defensive, and diversionary tactics to neutralize magic user before he escapes... Shall I notify reinforcements?"

And with that, Kurt waved his hand and said what seemed to be a few nonsense syllables...and then the two of them, the old man and the injured cat woman Jazzimoré, were just...gone. Even before Ayla could chuck one of the Aschen's most potent weapons, the anti-magic grenade.

And then came an unwelcome feeling... like she had left her stomach behind at the Bar! (It wasn't best pleased about it either!) “I think I'm going to be sick!” she muttered, before blacking out again...

So naturally Spike opened a quick portal to....
Someplace else. Taking Aki with her to safety.
Then from there it was really on Aki to get them even safer
Munkus however mouthed a quick word of thanks to Kurt before heading for the back door, easily hopping the bar counter as Kurt and Jazzei disappeared as Munkus went after something, his senses were going overboard he knew Jazzei was being watched, he felt eyes even on him and Kurt as it was!
Ducking into the bars kitchen the workers on duty were bvriefly startled before pointing the way the other man had gone, Munkus bid his thanks and darted towards the side door to the alley

"Godsdamned mages," she snarled, that particular Aschen predjudiece suiting her just fine. "You'll get the chair for that, subhuman!"
Diverting her attention to EVE she set plan B into motion, "αστέρι μου," the endearment was mostly lost on the A.I, Ayla knew that, but it would still tell her cybernetic teammate more about her emotional state than any heartrate monitor could. She was livid. "Set a beacon on my position now, and prepair to yank me via Bifrost, I don't have a blink pack on, deploy Angel on my position immediately. Sorched Earth, but bag&tag trenchie.." She trailed off for a moment, rapidly calculating just how long a cross-solar round trip would take. She settled on a flexible eleven seconds, "And scramble Pheonix Gamma, we're giving chase to target Jazzimore only this time we're going in loud." Ayla was leading with her emotions front, and center now, as essentially raiding a Terran hospital was a flawed idea, but it didn't matter to her, or the Emperor. This backwater wanted to misbehave? She'd be ready with the rod.
"Tap into my anti-magic grenade supply when we hit Langara, synch detonation timers with my re-entry. I don't want to be screwed over by the same prick twice." With that she gave the trench-coated man a coy wink, and dropped from her comms channel. "I'd love to stay, and play Mr.Mysterious, but I have grown up people work to do. Why don't you enterain my friend instead though? She likes it rough."

As a bartender approached him, he took the headphones off, paused the music and took a notepad out. Looking through it, he got out his pen and made some notes, before turning his attention towards the Bartender.
"Apologies for the wait. I was just trying to find a specific page in my notepad. So, I'll have a bottle of Argonian Ale. Should you not have any in stock, however, I'd be willing to order a flask of Velvet LeChance."
The bartender took his order and turned to go search the storerooms. Forsaken then put his Walkman headphones back on and continued listening to the Mixtape while he waited.

While he waited, he turned towards the figure sitting next to him, a humanoid creature dressed in bulky metal armor and listening to music from a Walkman. "Pardon me, sir, but do you know where I could find a Miss Gabrielle LeBeau? She owns this place," he asked. He was so tired he couldn't even shout, just speak.
