Hearing Rynhart's words, she breathed a sigh of relief at the promise that they were going back inside. Quietly, she pulled her black hair down around her ears as they all went to step through the doorway. Although there didn't seem to be a heat source in this space either, the fact that it was protected from the winds made it a fair bit warmer and that delighted Jasmira.
"Oh, thank the stars." she blurted out while rubbing at her arms. Bashfully, she cracked a smile at the instructor that was leading them. "Pardon me for being silent, but I believe my lips had frozen shut. My name is Jasmira. I was following my heart when I was lead here, but I must admit if I knew I was coming to this place, I would have dressed differently. Chi and I are frozen stiff."
He turned back to Rynhart then as they walked. "I understand, I think. Higher powers are at work, perhaps, or perhaps it was a spirit who knows more than I. Either way, I trust in it; I sensed nothing untoward about the call. I thank you, for any answers will be of aid in determining my purpose here."
The kitsune cast his eyes about the temple structure. "How did such an edifice come to be constructed in such hostile climates? Was the seclusion desirable for your order?"
As the trio made their way up the icy steps that led from the training yard and back into the courtyard, the rumbling echo of distant warhorns began to sound through the mountains.
Rynhart's pensive expression turned to a frown.
"That's the call to arms from Windcrest," he said. "Jasmira, take the portal room to Windcrest and find Shelby. Bring word to her that we will be sending reinforcements. I'll gather the others." He paused as he looked to Achaeos. "You can wait here until we return, or join Jasmira. There seems to be a disturbance in Windcrest."
With that Rynhart swept away to gather a small task force to lend aid to the city that the Patronus watched over.
He nodded to Jasmira, "I will travel ahead. Good luck out there." he said, then set off into motion. As he dashed, his form flickered and then vanished, becoming little more than a wisp of light. Within the spirit realm, he had re-adopted the form of a fox, darting through the temple and towards the portals swiftly.
