Introduction
Welcome to Ouran Academy, students. Among the various clubs at this school is the infamous Ouran Host Club, where handsome young men with too much time on their hands entertain beautiful young maidens who also have too much time on their hands. In this roleplay, you will either be a male member of the Ouran Host Club, a regular visitor, an enemy of the club, or any other character in connection to the establishment that you can come up with.
(Our beloved and very prestigious Ouran Host Club has graduated as of this year, as the last of its members move on to bigger and better things, but not without leaving a select few to carry on their legacy!
Our prince Tamaki along with Honey, Kyoya, Hikaru and Kaoru, Mori, and of course Haruhi have been scouting for a select few that have resembling characteristics or perhaps even something new and raw to represent them for the next few years to come!
So it is with sadness that we say good-bye to the original Host club, yet with great happiness as we welcome its new members!
Congratulations to those who qualified!)
As we all know, the Host Club is here to attend to every woman's needs, including her preference in men! Just like the original Host Club, its new members all vary in type. From the Princely Type to the Boy Lolita to the Mischievous Type!

The Story So Far... Write a Post » as written by 8 authors
Hikaru had to admit that this scene was beginning to come across like a movie. Though he just came to pour his heart out about a girl he liked, which was cool, she was used to being that girl that was 'one of the guys', she even preferred to dress like one, but for some reason she felt uneasy, somewhat sick. She thought it was the tension between Riko and Walker, yet it was still present even after getting fresh air. Part of her was glad that he didn't mistake her leaving the area for air as her feeling angry with him. Riko and Walker... It was so complicated, she wasn't sure what she was supposed to feel.
"Fumiko, if I may confide in you. I apologize if I've been acting strangely tonight, and, well... It's because a certain someone caught my eye, and... also my heart... a while back and while you're still here, I'd like your opinion on things."
She was taken by surprise, but it did explain a few things. Perhaps he asked her to the dance to make this girl jealous? Hikaru smiled a bit, glad that he was facing the ballroom and she was facing the rails. For some reason her smile was tight, way heavier than it should have been. She wasn't sure what she was feeling, but she didn't like it,"I don't mind, speak freely." She replied, tensing a bit as the wind blew. It wasn't bone chillingly cold, but it was enough to induce a shiver or two. She never understood the impracticality of women's fashion, it rarely ever proved to be functional, "Though I find it rather hard to believe that you of all people are having romantic problems." She laughed, slowly shaking her head at the same time. The laugh was slightly awkward, a little forced, but she also sent him a friendly wink. She watched him lean on the rails, tilting her head in a doggy manner, her eyes just as curious.
"I mean, at first I couldn't stand how aggressive they were, as if they were constantly pissed off at me just because I'm the Princely role. Since then though, it feels like they've become one of the few people I feel NORMAL around, like I don't have to pull any acts, be someone I'm not, treat them like a special snowflake just because they're rich or talented enough to go to school here..."
"I see.. I think I like them already." Hikaru grinned, anyone who had the same initial reaction to Walker as her had to be pretty awesome, but she kept her mouth shut. Someone he felt normal around? That was rare, Walker was rarely ever her definition of 'normal'. She simply nodded her head, but for some reason she felt awkward talking about this, "Well that's good, it's hard to find a person that attends this school that doesn't feel entitled to one thing or another.." She laughed at this thought, remembering her first day at Ouran. She thought she wouldn't last a week here, yet the host club kept her in line... Mostly. It had been several months and she was still here somehow, the host club seriously worked miracles.
"I wish I could just come out and say what I want to say to them, but... Well, I'm not gonna lie, Hi- Fumiko. I'm scared. Terrified. That if I tell them my feelings, they'll stop seeing me as even a friend and I'll lose what friendship I have with them. And I don't think I could stand that..."
The prince of Ouran was scared? Terrified? Why? What kind of person could strike terror in him? Even if it was simply anxiety, she never saw him in such a state. Honestly, it humanized him, and that was kind of strange. She always saw Walker as sort of extraterrestrial... though she'd never say that out loud.
"Heh... Who'd have thought... The Prince of and Sultan of the Stage completely at a loss for what to do..."
"I may be a girl, but I cannot speak for them." Hikaru stated with a light laugh at herself. She could get dolled up, but it could never mask the fact that she was horrible at being a girl, "..I doubt we're talking about a guy right now... I've never been in this type of situation, so as far as advice goes, I'm more lost than you are, Sultan." She was kind of teasing him, seeing as she was far more used to him being titled 'prince'. Though she turned her head to look at him, a weak smile on her face, "The only advice I can think of is 'You'll never know until you try'. I'm not sure if that helps you though. It kind of sounds like a bad fortune cookie.." She shrugged afterwards. She wouldn't have said that if she knew the girl in question was herself, but that information managed to slip over her head. Hikaru had never experienced love or a crush, she was oblivious to the game and couldn't register that someone out there could one day have romantic feelings for her... Well.. aside from her host club customers, but nothing would ever come from that, "It's admirable to be so sure of yourself. A prince has many subjects, their eyes glow emerald with envy every second a girl stands beside you, so I hope whoever it is has her own protection agency." She smirked, teasing Walker again. There was a pain in her chest that she couldn't describe, yet it felt almost like disappointment.. Why was she feeling this way? Despite herself? She smiled warmly at him before looking to the stars, "I've heard it's a wonderful thing, falling for someone, I hope everything turns out well for you, Oujisama."
"I kind of expected tonight to be a hassle, wasn't expecting to need it before the ball though."
Hikaru blinked in surprise as Walker exhaled. The nicotine was taunting, but she never was one to smoke cigars. She took in the sight for a moment but started laughing after, "I didn't peg you for a smoker, Oujisama." Hikaru teased, laughing again. Walker, despite being an adult legally just didn't seem to be the type, "The necklace.. It's actually a lighter as well. I started smoking a little after my grandfather died." Hikaru didn't try to hide her habit. as far as smell went, she was underage but what could anyone do if they never caught her smoking? She did brush her teeth tediously and always wore a jacket to keep her other clothing safe from smoke stains, the smell she told her mother was due to her friends she hung out with, "Isn't this the part where you thank me and you run off to go find the heroine and pour your feelings out to her so you can have that awkward first kiss with her that the movies over-glorify? I'm not very experienced in how it all works, but isn't this holiday meant for that kind of awkward and clichΓ© gesture?" Hikaru asked, her 'hair' (The wig that concealed her true hair) slightly blowing in the wind considering it was loosely styled. She couldn't wait to throw her female attire aside and make her entrance as Hikaru.
"I don't smoke, at least, not to any level of repetition, just on nights that are REALLY stressful. I found this brand when I was on a trip to Hawaii. I was born there, you know. Queen's Hospital, Honolulu, Oahu. It's a beautiful set of islands, you'd love it. There's a spot on Oahu called the Haiku steps, they're a long flight of stairs up the side of a mountain that you can only really climb at night when there's no guard to stop you from climbing them. And the hike's JUST long enough that when you get to the top the sun's just starting to rise over the rainforest..." The start of his laugh lines wrinkled as he smiled wistfully at the memory. He turned so his arms were resting on the railing as he looked out over the courtyard his eyes glinting in the reflected lights, "Words can't describe the beauty of it... But I'm getting nostalgic. And about the whole cliche part where I run off, I wouldn't exactly be running far, and I think I already did the whole feelings schtick... I'm just wondering if she'll take my offer of the awkward kiss."
"I don't mind sharing my cake... No, no. We were just talking. I don't mind if you join us, do you Erai-san? We can be the three bachelors, kind of like the three musketeers, without the outfits and weird hats!" He's just..so adorable. Hideki thought to himself. Hideki looked to Erai. "I'm sorry, Senpai, for interrupting your chat with Seiji-san.." Hideki blushed slightly, turning back to Seiji. "I'm surprised you don't have a date, Seiji-san.. I would think someone with your looks would have had no issue getting a date." Am I being too forward?? CRAP. I'm going to ruin everything. Ugh! Hideki stood to get himself a cup of tea. Earl Grey, his favourite. When he returned, he sat beside Seiji again, "accidentally" nudging his chair slightly closer, hoping that Seiji wouldn't notice his subtle move. Hideki looked around the room and noticed Hisoka with their date. "How cute.." he said. He put his hand over his mouth. "Did I say that out loud??" CRAP! Not again..
"I've seen enough boring old people do this. I think we can do a slow dance," Hisoka said, putting Madoka's hands on her shoulders and wrapping her own hands around Madoka's waist. Madoka blushed and giggled slightly. "H-Hisoka.. I-I'm really glad we came together.." Mdaoka said, looking down at their feet as they swayed gently. She wrapped her arms around Hisoka's neck and leaned her head on Hisoka's shoulder and closed her eyes. This just feels so perfect.. Madoka thought to herself, sighing in relief that tonight was actually going well, regardless of how awkward she was.
"I'm sorry, Senpai, for interrupting your chat with Seiji-san.." Hideki turned back to Seiji. "I'm surprised you don't have a date, Seiji-san.. I would think someone with your looks would have had no issue getting a date." Erai rolled his eyes at the first year's frankness with Seiji. Why not just tell him how you obviously really feel?? Erai thought to himself, rolling his eyes again. "How cute.." Hideki said, his eyes looking towards a couple slow dancing to no music. "Did I say that out loud??" the first year said as he clasped his hand over his mouth. "Yeah. Yeah, you did." Erai rolled his eyes once more. How can these host act like this and no one thinks it's just fricking weird?? Erai sighed, hoping this dumb event would start as soon as possible so that it could be over as soon as possible.
"I'm sorry, Senpai, for interrupting your chat with Seiji-san.."
Seiji shot both boys a bright smile, glad that the two were not arguing. Seiji rose to his feet scooping up his chair and pulled closer to Hideki's chair, "Since we're sharing." The shorter boy's tone was friendly and innocent as he explained his actions, which wasn't exactly an act. He liked Hideki's company and he truly was giving Erai a chance as a fellow host.. He not entirely clueless to Hideki's admiration, as he led others to believe, though in Seiji's defense, he was not entirely aware of it either, it was more of a subconscious gut feeling. His actions however were not romantically driven, and were of purely innocent intent.
"I'm surprised you don't have a date, Seiji-san.. I would think someone with your looks would have had no issue getting a date."
"Nah, I'm only friends with the customers.. I don't like girls like that." Seiji replied with a light laugh, a childish grin on his face as he took another bite of cake, enjoying what little cake he could fit into his diet, "I was actually just telling Erai that it's unfair that we are expected to ask girls." He spoke so openly, he was so nonchalant about the topic, it didn't even bother him to admit he was gay, albeit he was a little too naive to realize when he was crushing on someone.
"That's a good brand, Hideki-kun." Seiji smiled, admiring Earl Grey quite a bit himself, though the boy Lolita didn't necessarily have a favorite as long as it went well with cake.
"How cute.."
Seiji tilted his head as he examined Hisoka and Madoka. He didn't have anything against the couple, but to him he didn't see why it was special either. They liked each other, end of story? Regardless he smiled, glad Hisoka was having fun as well.
"Did I say that out loud??"
"Yeah. Yeah, you did."
Seiji was about to nod and say something but was best to the punch by Erai, "They do look well together. Why shouldn't we state what we like to see? There's no harm in it." The shorter boy tilted his head at Erai, pouting a bit at the reaction of the newer host. He didn't like that Erai seemed to be bored with their company now, and he was oblivious to what changed his more sociable atmosphere into this moody one. Seiji shuffled his feet against the floor, staring down at the remains of his and Hideki's cake. Seiji wasn't prepared for awkward situations like this so he simply smiled a bit. Suddenly he caught Walker practically sneaking off out onto the balcony and he got a mischievous idea, "Let's go see what Walker-kun is doing! We can be like spies." He told Hideki and Erai enthusiastically. He stood from his seat, approaching the windows and crouched down so he would be lower to the ground and less detectable by Walker or anyone else on the other side as he parted the drapes a little, just enough to watch with one eye. Walker was out there with a girl! She looked familiar, but definitely wasn't an Ouran girl. Who was she? The scene seemed to be getting fairly lovey-dovey as well.
"I have never actually traveled outside of Japan... I can't really imagine it, but it sounds wonderful." She wasn't faking her response, it was one hundred percent genuine, but she wasn't sure what he was getting around to? What did this story have to do with giving him advice about a girl?
"Words can't describe the beauty of it... But I'm getting nostalgic."
"Doesn't anyone who has experienced a big move get nostalgic when they think of home?" Hikaru asked with a curious tilt of her head. She only moved cities once and she was very young when it happened so it wasn't a big deal. Judging by Walker's words he was in Hawaii for some time, it must have been very hard to pack up and move like that. She couldn't imagine doing that..
"And about the whole cliche part where I run off, I wouldn't exactly be running far, and I think I already did the whole feelings schtick..."
Her eyes widened at this, glancing around a bit. They were alone on the balcony.. Unless he was saying he already told the girl before this, which was highly unlikely because he was asking her for advice.. Oh my god.. He was actually confessing to her? She felt her face growing hot despite the slight chill of the outside, she was blushing like crazy by this point. She was three years younger than him. He'd be off to college next year and she would only be a sophomore.. So many thoughts ran through her head that she thought it might explode. She was scared, surprised, relieved, nervous, kind of happy, but also a bit worried.
"I... I'm not sure what to say..." She replied finally, realizing she had to give him an answer. She was stuttering now in her nervousness, feeling a bit overwhelmed. She had stalled long enough and regardless of how embarrassing it was she owed him a reply.. She just hoped this wasn't some kind of prank, "I'm not sure how I feel.. to be honest.. What would it even " Then she noticed that the curtains were concealing them from the rest of the party. She didn't notice it at all before. When did he do that?
Out of all the girls in Walker's life, Hikaru just couldn't understand why he chose her..she preferred to dress like a guy most of the time... Would he expect her to change? Quit being a host? Her mind was swarming with questions.
"Me?" She was in a state of complete disbelief. Why would a guy like Walker want to be with a girl like her? She was unrefined, reckless, and rebellious. She punched one of his club members, announced to the club that there was a thief among the club (which was true...), and even chose to chase after Riko the week before.. She gave him no reason to, and yet here the two of them stood.
"I'm just wondering if she'll take my offer of the awkward kiss."
Kiss!? She turned to face him, although part of her wished to blend in with the walls at this point. She'd never kissed anyone before.. and he was a senior... Her stomach was in a thousand intricate knots, and she was definitely panicking. How am I supposed to reply to this!? Part of her wanted to refuse, to pretend that there was no way possible that this could have been real, but part of her wouldn't let herself do that because part of her was glad it was happening. Damned dress is messing with my head.. She thought to herself. It would have been a lot easier to brush this topic aside if she had been dressed as Hikaru Inoue, the freshman boy recruited to the host club, "A-Are you serious...?" Finally she understood why Nemui often fainted. This was so embarrassing that she even felt a little lightheaded.
"Y-you can't expect me to answer a question like that.." She mumbled in embarrassment, retreating into Tsundere mode as she spoke referring to the offered kiss. Just the thought of kissing Walker made her blush grow darker. How was she supposed to verbally accept something like that? She felt her entire body tense up in embarrassment and she dropped her head in attempt to conceal it. This was the exact reason she hated being a girl. Fighting was easy, this was hard. M-my heart is beating way too fast...
She had so many questions. How would this work..? If this was just a fling, it would make sense.. But he was talking about matters of the heart, how would they have a relationship after he graduated this year? How would they have one this year? She was posing as a boy.. The girls would get angry if Walker had a girlfriend or a boyfriend.. She didn't want to hurt host club business. It's so scary... He's surrounded by girls.. I-I don't want to feel anything.. because it's scary... What if he goes to college and gets bored of me..? I'm left behind... She was happy, but she was almost just as upset. The thought of allowing herself to feel something for Walker was terrifying. It was so terrifying and distracting that she didn't realize they suddenly had an unexpected audience.
