Five months ago, a mutated virus broke out. It was not highly contagious but contagious enough to infect over 20000 people. Symptoms of getting the disease was getting very pale. eyes turning red, lusting for blood. The second stage was loss of human behaviour, getting severe skin damage when in sunlight even for a short moment and bewilderment. The final stage then was becoming something that barely looked human. The people called the disease vampirism. About two months after the outbreak, a vaccine was created. It wasnt a cure but it made sure that humans were immune to the virus. But it was still possible to get the disease by being bitten by the infected. Soon those who had the ability to resist going on to the second stage seemed to be changing. No matter how much blood they drink, they wouldnt go on to the second or third stage. Instead they didnt have the need for sleep anymore, increased in physical abilities and became malicious in behaviour. They were affected by the light but not as bad as those who had surpassed the second stage. Those of the second and third stage who were caught were used to be experimented on or killed. Those who hadnt lost their humanity yet (first stage) were quarantined and will be so until a cure will be found. But it is thought that only about 5% of the infected were away from the public but it is less than that. Now it is time to search for the cure but on the way still are the free roaming vampires and freshly infected.
With them roaming it will be a problem since those who are at second and third stage are brutal and mostly not alone while those in the changed first stage are smart and can trick you easily into thinking they are your friends.
The story starts in Seattle, the place where the first infections took place.
