You were young when you first learned what you are, as we all are. As a child, you were always fascinated with nature. Something about the wild seemed to spark something deep within your soul. The forest made you dream, you were drawn to it like a moth to a flame. Sitting inside too long made you restless and agitated, and you always seemed to relate better to animals then people.

That is how it started, your deep love for all things wild. Then it grew inside you as you grew. Your restlessness grew stronger, and strange things started to happen around you. Accidents all of them, but some rather dangerous, possibly even fatal. You tried to suppress these strange powers, terrified of what it would mean. The world does not look kindly on the Others so you tried to fight it as hard as you could, but this only seemed to make things worse.

Then the Metamorphosis happened and there was no going back. Your Familiar sought you out. After years of feeling a strange emptiness inside that nothing seemed to fill, the two of you met and, finally became whole. You looked into the eyes of your Familiar, and knew, without a doubt, what you were.
