Introduction
Three thousand years ago the beautiful genie Syncya made an attempt to steal the all-seeing eye from the god Odin. If she had claimed this eye see would have gained total omniscience. When Odin caught here he gave her the most severe punishment he could give: An eternity of servitude.
Syncya was imprisoned inside of a blue crystal. Whoever was to rub this crystal Syncya was to be their slave, using all of her powers to serve them. For the next three thousand years Syncyaβs crystal was past from mater to master, and was eventually lost.
In the year 2011 there lives a teenage genius who is totally ignorant of his destiny. His name is Matthew Williams, and he is in the senior gifted physics program of his high school. Obsessed with the concepts of dark matter, anti-time, and parallel dimensions, Matthew would give anything to have the opportunity to explore the universe. He has no idea that heβs about to get his wish.
But there is a third character that has gone unmentioned: Drake Longcoat, a top secret government official who specializes in knowledge of extraterrestrials. Cold and ruthless, Mr. Longcoat would stop at nothing to get a superhuman creature under his control, especially one with supernatural abilities.
At this very moment Mr. Longcoat is at his office studying the ancient myths of old to see if there is any truth to him. Meanwhile Matthew is walking home from school, only ten paces away from Syncyaβs crystal, which is half sticking out of the dirt. Meanwhile Syncya is confined in her prison, waiting to be released.
The Players:
Syncya: Like many magical creatures of mythology, Syncyaβs mood is easily swung. She is quite often sweet and flirtatious, but when provoked can grow a fiery temper. It has been ages since she has been in the outside world, and would be genuinely grateful to be released, even if only temporarily.
Her powers include teleporting herself and others anywhere, shape shifting, and invisibility. Two things she definitely canβt do are create and destroy matter, travel through time, and free herself. The only way she can be freed is if Odin chooses to do this himself, and he is not easily swayed. Although Syncya has had plenty of time to think about her crime, she still secretly desires Odinβs eye of omniscience. Given the opportunity, she would try to steal it again.
Matthew Williams: It isnβt easily being a high school genius. Matthewβs passion of physics often clashes with his social life. He has few friends, no girlfriend, and is often looked down on as a nerd by his peers. Matthewβs words are often three steps behind his thoughts, making him often misunderstood by those around him. Slightly nerdy, he is eager to explore the mysteries of existence, but unfortunately can only do this through reading booksβ¦β¦.for now.
Drake Longcoat: The villain of this story, Mr. Longcoat represents the corruption of humanityβs desire to control the universe. As a government official charged with the duty of investigating extraterrestrial phenomenon he has tabs on the whole country. Should there be any supernatural activity that causes a big enough stir Drake will discover it sooner or later. Drake Longcoat sees no problem with betraying his superiors to harness great power.

Matt waited until he knew that Syncya was asleep. Then he kept over to her, and with some scissors cut a lock of her hair off. He put it under a microscope on his desk and began to examine. "Time to see what this girl's made of," he whispered to himself.

The sound of him moving, or the clip of her hair didn't wake her up. She roled over on her side and used her arm as a pillow.

As Matt examined Syncya's DNA through the microscope he was amazed by the strange struture of chromosones that would be impossible to arrange in human DNA. "This is amazing," he breathed. Then he discovered something else. Shown at a microscopic level the hair strand had holes in it. These holes were filled with a dark black substance that deflected the light around it. Matt knew what this darkness was. His excitement overcame him and he spoke, "She's made of dark matter!" He then cursed himself for speaking so loud.

His yell scared Syncya out of her sleep. She jumped up with a gasp and glared at him through teary eyes. "What the hell you yelling about?"
