Route 22 extended westward, taking trainers toward the Pokemon League and eternal fame. A single pair of trainers, a girl and a boy, tossed stones lightly into a small pond just inside the city. They were around 16 or 17, and they clearly were no more than friends. In fact, it seemed as though they were almost related, based on their similar appearances...
Outside the Pokemon Center, there was another person, but not obviously a trainer. A cute blonde boy, who strummed at a flaming red electric guitar, leaned against the building, a small amp at his feet. A Chimecho floated nearby, and a small Shinx played at his feet.

Tsukai got away from the video phone when she saw her mother taking air, she was going to scream, Tsukai smiled even more knowing it would be humillating for her "And buy a PokeGear or a new Pokenav!! I want you to call me everyday!!" Tsukai nodded she was trying no to get red while some people watched her. "Yes I mother I will, talk to you later" Tsukai ended the call before more humillating things happen she breathe with ease and smirked "That if in Kanto sell Gears or Navs why do you think I left my Nav at home and loaded the maps to my pokedex?"
Tsukai walk quickly to the door pretending that some people and their pokemon weren´t looking at her... and some laughing. She sighed and left the pokemon center and watched toward the store, she needed to buy some things before leaving the city, like antidotes, she looked at the guy with the guitar and then to the pokemon at his side, they were cute. Tsukai quickly change her sight to the store she didn´t want to get into battles before getting a few potions.

[Tsukai Aima] The blonde boy with the guitar, almost carelessly strumming away at his guitar, began playing a faster and more intricate tune after he saw Tsukai exit the Pokemon Center in front of him. She carefully averted her eyes, meaning that she didn't want to battle. Of course, he didn't either, as he was no trainer. Well, he was, simply because he owned Pokemon, but they were his companions. His band.
He kicked out a large can from the eves of the building. On it was a large, Sharpie label - "Need Money to Begin World Tour". His band, though not exactly the most conventional, was the best one ever. Upon seeing Tsukai, the two Pokemon began two participate. The Chimecho began to beat its internal bell as a percussion instrument, while Shinx began to growl the bass part of the song. Completely unique, and while the little group wasn't the best, they sounded unlike anything that the cute blue-headed girl had probably ever seen before. He hoped so; he still needed a singer, and she looked like she could help with that.

Tsukai looked to the gym direction, she looked at the current gym leader, he looked strong... Tsukai clinched her hand into fists, she was diying to challenge a gym leader, but currently it was impossible, after all she only had Bagon with her, he was strong but no ready to fight at that level... and of course not even dreaming to do a 1 VS. 5 or 6 in a row, Tsukai raised her right hand looking at her gaunglet, her sight was practically sending flames "Don´t worry Bagon we will return here and we will show them how we do things."
Tsukai distracted from her world after hearing a sound, it was the boy and his pokemon. She get closer mesmerized by the pokemons, it was like they were shining while following the boy´s lead in the guitar while singing . Tsukai noticed the label and took out some coins from her bag, she extended the boy the money with her eyes sparking "Here... maybe 750 py aren´t that much , but I really liked your act, pardon my rudeness but what kind of food do you give your pokemon? They seem real energetic."
((py was poke yens I think... don´t remember in which game I saw it, well I will keep in the number 6))

"I make Poffins out of the Berries that grow in Viridian Forest. It's kind of a unique mix every time..." His gaze was shifting, as though he wanted to ask something but didn't know how. "Um, listen... my name's Joey. Joey Hunter... are you headed out toward Johto? You just gave me enough money for me to get supplies to start travelling to Ecruteak City... that's my 'world tour'... I really wouldn't mind a friend." He grinned winningly, and the Shinx stepped forward, pleading in a way.

Tsukai smiled to Joey with a sad look while joining her hands "Sorry Joey but I came to the Kanto´s region decided to beat it´s league, I want to face the Kanto´s Elite Four and for that first I need the badges... I know the Johto´s League it´s the same but I have come from very far to take again the same path in return."
Tsukai nodded and looked to Joey again with sparking eyes "But consider me your first fan, It´s the first time I see the pokemon doing such thing and I bet a lot of people will like this too!" Tsukai gave two steps back and smiled to Joey again "I bet you will reach your goal, just play when there are more people in the street" then she waved at the Chimecho, to the Shinx and then to Joey "Thanks for the tip on the food I will try to grab berrys from the forest, I will take my leave know If I want to reach the forest before night fall, good luck on your world tour" Tsukai smiled and started walking towards the north of Viridian City.

[Tsukai Amai] Joey smiled at the blue-haired girl, sad that she wasn't headed to Johto. Perhaps he would have to go alone, capturing one or two other Pokemon on the way. As it was, the trip would take quite a while... perhaps he should join a different group of trainers, or join Tsukai in moving about Johto. Either way, it couldn't hurt to practice a bit more before his big debut in the Music Capital of the World. As Tsukai walked away, he called after her, "Thanks. And if you ever see me around again, you can get a free ticket to one of my shows..."
The two young people were skipping stones, talking loudly as their water Pokemon played in the pond. Their voices carried to Tsukai. "...and we need to get home soon, Mom said that she would have a snack for us.
(You may interact with other charactes in Viridian City, ask Joey to join you on your journey with a promise to help him travel to Ecruteak eventually, or move on to Route 2 alone.)

She smiled at him and said, "This is the day, Drake! Are you ready?". "Yes mother, I am ready to set off on my journey. What Pokemon will you give me?" He asked her. In her time she had done lots of travelling and had caught many Pokemon.
"Well, I know you want a Fire, Steel, Psychic, Dark, or Water type," his mother told him, "So here I have constructed a wheel of non-evolved Pokemon I've caught from these types. Just give it a spin and we'll let chance decide!". His mother always liked chances, it brought a unique spicyness to life, the unknown and the unknowable dictating the outcome. He nodded and stepped up to the wheel. He put his hand on the section that said "Numel" on it and gave it a good, hard spin. The wheel clicked as each peg went by, and after about 10 seconds it slowed down. it was in the "Slowpoke" section, but was slightly moving. Next was "Bronzor", and the arrow moved bit by bit towards its peg. It slowly smacked into the peg, and went by it with a click. It stopped on "Bronzor". His mother then took out a Poke-Ball and opened it up, revealing a Bronzor. It looked at Drake with cool happiness.
The Bronzor was a good, deep blue color, its yellow eyes fixing on him. "He has a Relaxed nature, Drake" his mother said. That meant that he would be slower than usual, but tougher. When it learns the move 'Gyro Ball' that will be a worthwhile asset. Drake reached out and grabbed Bronzor's Pokeball. As he walked Bronzor followed him silently, floating in the air. He liked Bronzor, it seemed intelligent. "You won't get far without this," his mother said as she handed him his backpack. "I've put some Pokeballs and Potions in there. Oh, and a Paralyz heal. And two Antidotes for the forest's Weedles." she continued.
The pack was surprisingly light on Drake's back. He hugged her one last time and opened the door, exiting into Viridian City. This is going to be the start of an interesting adventure, I hope, he thought.
Number... 9?
[Drake Argentius] As Drake exited into the streets of Viridian City, he was met by the plethora of pedestrians that filled its streets at this time of day. The sun filled the sky over Johto and dyed it orange. Many people passed by the young trainer who had just exited from his house.
An old man sat on a fence on the side of the short path that lead to Route 2. He held a coffee cup and seemed very good-tempered. (He's only upset if he hasn't had his coffee...)
The local Gym Leader, a mysterious man who had taken on the job in the place of Giovanni's place, paced restlessly on the platform of the new Gym he had built. So far, he had no challengers. Oh, well, at least he was confident that he was the strongest trainer in Kanto, aside from the Elite Four...

Thach wheeled up besides Emi. "So that's Viridian City eh? *yawn* Let's get going, we should try to find something to eat, so we should try to find Blake's house."
He looked around. He's never seen Viridian before, everything he needed was in Pallet. He glanced around as they entered the larger city. Everything was bigger up close. He wheeled in front of the pokemon center. His team needed healing.
"Lets rest up in here for a bit, at least until we can meet back up with Blake." Thach unmounted his bike and wheeled into the building. Once inside, he saw lots of trainers waiting for their pokemon to finish healing. He took a seat and waited to be served. He removed his two pokemon from their balls, smiling at Bandit.
Bandit looked around and sniffed the air. He wasn't used to being indoors.
"Whacha smellin' Bandit?"
The Rattata looked at Thach, smelling him while doing so.
[Thach Wilson] As Thach and Emi waited to have his Pokemon healed from their battling, Emi laughed at Bandit's curiousity. She had never seen such a curious Pokemon before. "Look at him, he's so adorable." She brought out her Magby, which she had owned for almost two years. A blue bow on its head matched its eyes. "You know, I've always wanted to enter him into a Contest, to see how he'd do." She looked at Thach's two Pokemon. "I'll bet that Beau would be good in a Tough Contest, while Bandit would do well in a Smart or Cool Contest." She laughed again, brushing her hair back.
The Pokemon Center had many types of people; everyone from powerful trainers, prepared to challenge the mysterious new Gym Leader, to newbies just passing through to get to Pewter City or even Pallet Town to receive their first Pokemon from the ancient Professor Oak. Some of these glared at Emi, since her loud laughter disturbed their concentration.

Lee nodded; Viridian City was just ahead and Sparks was quite weak and shaken from the battle. "Ok, Sparks, time to rest, return." The red light that shot out of the Pokeball engulfed sparks and sucked him into it. Placing the ball carefully next to the one containing his Ralts, he caught up to Melissa and they both entered Viridian City.
[Lee Wilters] Melissa immediately began walking toward the Pokemon School. "I'm going to make my rounds," she quietly explained. "You can come with me, or you can just hang around. I have money to pay for a couple of rooms in the Pokemon Center, so you can go ahead and book them if you're over there.
Outside a house nearby the PokeMart was a guitarist and his two Pokemon. He looked tired.

He looked at the little Magby. "Oh hello Magby. Wanna say hi to Bandit?" He placed Bandit next to the Magby and picked up Beau, who was trying to slither to the trainer next to him.
The Rattata sniffed the fire pokemon and went to go sniff Emilia.
"Well, looks like the line is shrinking. We should be able to get out of here in a few minutes."
Thach placed Beau on his head, and tapped his foot.

Ralts senses the emotions of people using the horns on its head. This Pokémon rarely appears before people. But when it does, it draws closer if it senses that the person has a positive disposition.
Lee closed the pokedex and chucked it back onto the bed behind him. Bored Lee opened the door and headed downstairs. Sparks sitting on his shoulder. and ralts following shyly behind.
'Better stack up on pokeballs and potions' Lee thought as he walked over to the pokemart. As he walked there sparks running with ralts, he noticed a guitarist and two pokemon. Interested in why the pokemon were dancing lee went over and introduced himself. "Hi, Im Lee" he said to the guitarist.

[Lee Wilters] By the time that Lee finished leaving his stuff in the room, it was getting late out. The streetlamps of the city began to light, even though it was still early by most standards and the light still shone in the sky.
The said guitarist had sat down on a nearby bench, instead of constantly standing. But when the young trainer approached him, he bolted to his feet, grinning. "Hi, I'm Joey. And this is my band." He pointed to the two Pokemon on the ground: a Chimecho and a Shinx. "Will you be headed to Johto any time soon? I'm trying to travel to Ecruteak City, to try and make a name for myself as a musician, but it's not safe anymore to travel alone, especially when you're as weak as me." He tried to look less helpless. "If you're going to travel somewhere else instead, that's fine as well, if you'll eventually be heading that way."
