Personality

Adriac is a bit of a loner, but his past as a knight has left him with a sense of honor and compassion. He is strong willed, and determined to live in a way that will bring him glory and a legacy as a righteous man. He hates his elven heritage, and if one thinks him to be purely human he will not correct them for a moment.

Equipment

Adriac's armor is a chainmail cuirass with hardleather shin, thigh, and forearm guards. He wears no helmet. Over the cuirass is a dark blue hooded cloak. Adriac is left handed and his weapon lies on his right hip accordingly, it is a gladiator style Sica blade. It is a straight blade that curves directly back at a 45 degree angle for cruel slashing and piercing attacks. On his back lies his primary first line of defense..a wooden round shield reinforced on its back side with steel, and a spike on the front that is 5 inches long and can be used as an additional weapon. Beside this shield lies Adriac's longbow. It is a dark, ebony bow with arrows made of the same wood and tipped with barbed steel heads. As a precaution, Adriac carries several small daggers on his person at all times.

History

Adriac was a knight who served the king before Shadrack, but left the kingdom to roam the lands beyond it as a ranger shortly after Shadrack rose to power. The half elf never trusted this new king. Since then, Adriac has watched and tried to prevent the destruction of the mages by Shadrack's armies. He was there when the "last mage" was slain, and fled to fight another day when the world would need heroes to stand against the tyrant. It has been awhile since that day, and Adriac has managed to make a name for himself around the world..as well as friends in many high places. As such, Adriac had heard rumors that a mage lived in Feinlore..but the village was destroyed before he arrived. Now Adriac searches in hope that the child escaped, and is ready to swear his life to protect the last possible lifeline of the world he has called his home since his birth 47 years ago.
