It was the final day of his trials to truly become a man in the world of the Norse, and young Mikhal Odinson was passing with colors. Now, he was by no means a half god, he was given the last name "Odinson" as he was found as a babe in the Shrine of Odin as an orphan, and raised by the shaman. Mikhal was a swordsman, reluctant to use his shield but he needed to in order to pass. He then threw his arrow covered shield at the target, hitting it dead on before slicing it with his blade. He then stood, having cleared his trial as the elder made the proclamation he was fully a Viking brother that day. Odin, Thor, and Tyr were praised that day as he sheathed his sword, smiling. Now, He stood about 5' 10", with long black hair and ghostly blue eyes. He had a lean muscular build gained through his training to eventually set sail on a longboat and join in the raids. He saw a maiden among the crowds, his crush who was a year younger than him, certainly a village beauty. That went out of notice as the Vikings hoisted him up, taking him to the Village Hall for the grand feast awaiting them. He had many friends who would be going through their trials as well, and many would be joining them on a longboat in the coming year, when they all passed their trials. He was given an amulet in the Trisagion, the symbol of Odin, showing him to be a future leader among them. Most received them in the shape of Mjolnier, Thor's hammer, but those of prowess received the Trisagion.

It was a badge of honor, but little did they know that all was unwell in Asgard, far above the small village of Ornheim on the plane of Midgard. Soon all connected by Yggdrasil, and even the dragon Nidhogg who chewed at its roots, would cease his actions as the world became upset. In Yotunheim, the many races Giants now reigned under a single monarch called Hronar, whose only weakness was not known to the All-Father, but known only to goddess Hel, in her own realm by same name in the land of Niflheim, the World of the Dead. All that was known is that no immortal could slay him, nor any who had the blood of any immortal within them. The All-Father and five other gods would chose each of them a champion, and these champions would be the ones to discover the secret weakness of the Giants

There was a prophecy, told by the guardians of the Spring of Prophecy long ago, speaking of this event; "When the realm of Yotunheim unites as one, the work of the gods shall be undone. A Giant who doth rise against Asgard has a weakness known to the daughter of Loki, and only the champions of gods can this secret see. Odin the Wise and Tyr the Brave, whom Asgard once did save. Thor the Mighty and Ein the Pure, who in their rage the Realms' destruction could ensure. Freya the Loving and Balder the Kind, they who were of a usually peaceful mind. Ye Six Champions, chosen by the gods, shall go forth and avert what is to be wrought. Go and save this world destined for distraught! Go, to Hel and then to Midgard whence you came! Go, and protect those in this world, and in those in every world the same!"
