Picture Planet Earth, now picture planet Earth again with a second society alongside the one the rest of humanity knows. This second society is the one where special humans known as Nether Folk are born with either abilities that does or doesn't change their physical appearance but regardless gives them superiority over the rest of humanity. Nether Folk keep away from the rest of humanity, and fight their own special wars and conflicts. The head of the Nether Folk world is the Nether Being Council which is run by a representative of multiple Nether Folk. For many years the Nether Being Council has led the Nether Folk world in the shadows of the rest of the world and for the most part, has kept things relatively calm despite their have been small battles here and there.

Now something threatens the balance of the Nether Folk world, the Second Society. A revolutionary band of Nether Folk called the Nether World Army has formed, and is intent on making the Nether Folk known to the rest of the world so they can dominate over normal humanity and cease having to live in the shadows and in silence. Though to do this, they would have to destroy the Nether Being Council, and so the War of the Second Society has begun to formulate.
