Personality: "Leave me be and we'll be fine." Charlotte is spunky in a way, but bland at the same time. Her voice is monotone to an extent, which makes the majority of everything she says sound gloomy and dark, not to mention boring. Her voice is not deep like a man's, but it is not high like a woman's. It's somewhere in the middle. Being excited or furious will allow her voice to take on a different pitch. She doesn't think before she speaks, but the words that escape from her mouth are close to never insulting. She doesn't like insulting others, but she will get under their skin if need be. She's one to do what she wants and keep everyone out of her way while doing so. She doesn't care what others say about her.
Unfortunately, she is very moody. She needs peace, quite, and meditation to stay neutral or all hell will break loose. Literally. If interrupted when she's meditating, people better brace themselves and take cover. Her emotions are connected to her powers, and depending on what she feels, the intensity of her powers may increase or decrease. When sad, they decrease; when angry, they increase. Being sad is worst than angry in some cases, because her powers control themselves when she's depressed.
History: "That's for me to know, isn't it? Up until the age of 7, Charlotte's life was normal. She had loving parents, a cozy life at home, and many friends. That is, until her parents and she went to a local gas station. While her father pumped the gas, her mother gave her 20 dollars and told Charlotte to go in the store and get her mother a bottle of coke. The joyful girl walked into the store and bought the beverage, but when she returned outside, her parents were no where in sight. With $17.05 and glass bottle of coke, 7 year old Charlotte was left to fend for herself.
Charlotte lived four days as a homeless child, and it was within these three days that the little girl discovered she was different. When she first returned outside, she was overwhelmed with emotions. Tears started flowing, then fury shortly followed, then longing and fear. The child walked the unfamiliar neighborhood until nightfall, where surprisingly, she could she as if it still sunny out. She didn't think anything of it, and fell asleep under a park bench within minutes of finding it. The next two days she suffered from paranoia and hoped that her parents would come back and realize they forgot her. Of course, they didn't. It was on the third day that things started to get extremely weird for the child. She ran out of money and her emotions once again overtook her, causing the child to have a tantrum. A few pedestrians tried calming little Charlotte down, but to no avail. She ended up lashing her arms and legs out at the strangers to get away, but they wouldn't. One woman reached to grab her, and in fear, Charlotte blasted her into the street.
The fourth day was when someone came and took her while she was sleeping. When she awoke, Miss Umbra was in a mansion. From then on, the seven year old grew up and eventually learned to call this place home.
