Humans as a coherent society are long gone. The remaining humans survive in tribes across the world. They are not important. The people nobody sees, now they... they are the focus of our legend.

Introduction

The Tiny People were created when society fell. Nobody knows how or why. Most people don't even know they exist. Tiny People are an inch tall, and have relative measurements. Some are born with strange extra bits. Some have antennae, some webbing, some fangs, extra eyes or claws.

They live within a massive manor. To a normal person, it is large. To the tiny ones, it is a whole world. Rooms are like subdivisions, and outside the manor, there lies wilderness stretching forever. You are born, suddenly awoken in a moving tube. The tube deposits you onto a lab table, along with a scroll with your personal information. At first you don't like that someone else has made up your personality, you realize, it fits you perfectly.

There are three doors in the lab, one-way doors. One leads to the bathroom, one to the kitchen and one to the basement. Each has its own tribe.

The bathroom has the Tile Tribe. They feed on the fungus that grows all over the bathroom, and since the bathroom leads into a series of pipes, they control them, and can travel to any room with pipes. The Tile Tribe is very peaceful, but the fungus is not always enough to feed them all. Bugs and other prey rarely enter the bathroom, so foraging parties are common. The Tile Tribe consists of many families, and thier tribe colour is blue. All the Tile Tribers have webbed feet, and fight with spears made of toothpicks and floss nets.

The second tribe, in the kitchen is called the Chew Tribe. The kitchen is full of food, both still fresh and decaying. Tiny People can eat both, and use the decaying food to grow fungus farms. They rarely go hungry, but the food attracts dangerous predators. This forces them to protect themselves at all times. Unfortunatly, this leads to a high rate of young deaths, and the tribe suffers from this. Their colour is green. The Chews all have antennae, and fight with fork tines.

Finally, in the basement lies the Dark Tribe. Since the basement is so dark, they have night vision, but newcomers must adapt. The young born in the basement are born with it. Fungus and bugs are in no shortage, but large predators roam the basements. Rubble occasionally falls, and other hazards occur, so this is a very hardy tribe. Their colour is white, easier to see in the dark. They fight hand to hand, as most have claws and teeth. They also construct things from animals bones and the like.

All the tribes distrust eachothee, and are constantly battling one another for supremacy. There are also branching tribes that have seperated from the main three, and some that have left the manor, for the wilderness beyond.

What will you do?

For now, we will have three in each tribe, and three extra spots that can be anything they want. You can move to whichever you want once we are full, and more spots may open.

Deep below the belly of the manor, Syrinx strolled along the village nestled below the stairs. Even though day and night had little meaning here, it was day, as the bats had returned from their hunting trips. He looked up at the roof. All the tamed bats were accounted for. A couple of the wild bats that came and went were missing, as usual. No matter to him, simply interesting. The village was awakening.
As doors opened, and people began their duties, Syrinx watched. Reports came and went, and preparations for breakfast began. Last night, the village had been attacked by a large group of rats. The attack was easily fended back, and they came away from the conflict with valuable resources such as fur, hide, bones and meat. This was the usual routine for them. Mind the fungus fields, hunt for mice and bugs, and occasionally.. fight.
Such a fight was in the works now, inside Syrinx's head. The Tile Tribe was weak, and they had just uncovered a pipe that they had been using to spy with. In a couple days, they would march up the pipes to the bathrooms and take their land...

Splice woke up to the smell of food. He run's to the smell to find fungus. "FUNGUS not again. This has been the third fungus meal in a row. "I need to find some other food". Splice runs along looking for some food wondering if there will be anymore rat attacks. "I wonder what all the commotion is about". Splice ran back to the village remembering he had to do hi share of chores. Splice counts the bats like usual and not paying attention ran into a crack in the floor. There seemed to be no way out so the curious part of Splice shined inside of him. "No way except forward". Splice walked for what seemed for many moons but that was just Splice's stomach talking. it has only been an hour. Splice finally finds his way out and Splice is engulfed in sunlight. He was blinded. Splice's eyes adjusted and he saw something he has never seen before... a HUMAN???????

Sorry i took so loooong Dx
Go to Roleplay Forums > Out of Character > Roleplayers Wanted, and post with some info about the RP and a link :D

Re: [OOC] The Tiny World

Alright, how does one post Players Wanted?

Re: [OOC] The Tiny World

Also, I hope my character isn't too weird >_< If you want me to change anything about her just tell me.

Re: [OOC] The Tiny World

I was thinking about it, but there are like 92 people looking at this, so I'm not too concerned yet. Soon, though. Probably tomorrow.

Re: [OOC] The Tiny World

Have you tried the Roleplayers Wanted forum?

Re: [OOC] The Tiny World

Once more people show up, you can probably edit it too. Not sure we want too much drama yet. You can find a human, sure, but make it your own encounter. When peeps join up, we want it to start out a bit simpler :>

Re: [OOC] The Tiny World

You're the godmod. you do whatever you want. xD

Re: [OOC] The Tiny World

Oh noes grammar nazi :> ahaha

No problems though man, first time. You don't have to worry about grammar in the OOC, but its nice to have in the actual activities. One or two typos is okay, but it starts getting grating. Don't feel too bad when someone corrects a mistake that pops up over and over. Also, I probably shouldn't have posted yet either, since we need more peeps, but I thought it would be useful to show the feel of it.

Re: [OOC] The Tiny World

that's ok and congrats on the AP class thats smartical

Re: [OOC] The Tiny World

It's okay. I'm just a grammar nazi. >_> There's a reason I'm in AP english and being nice isn't one of them, obviously. I apologize.

Re: [OOC] The Tiny World

O sorry I'm kinda new to role playing and this kinda stuff it won't happen again. I'm not good at this.

Re: [OOC] The Tiny World

Okay, not to be a bitch, but seriously.

One question mark is enough. We get that he's surprised.

The end mark - no matter what it is - stays inside the quotation marks. "This is correct," while "this is not".

Italizing rather than SHOUTING LIKE THIS gets your point across a lot better.

Also, you cannot have OWN a run. Thus, there should not be a " ' " in runs. It is not possessive. It is not showing ownership nor a contraction.

And just as a rule of thumb, it's generally disrespectful to post before the God Mod says you can. Just because he has posted doesn't mean you can.

Re: [OOC] The Tiny World

o sorry i already made it check it out I think it's pretty cool.

Re: [OOC] The Tiny World

You can just edit it when we actually start. we still need some other peeps :>

Re: [OOC] The Tiny World

ok disregard my lat post i will make a new one now

Re: [OOC] The Tiny World

Splice carries around a sharp speer...

...also, spear*. >_> sorry.

Re: [OOC] The Tiny World

@pappything, bro you should make some bigger entries. It should be about a paragraph long. Also, we should still wait until we get more people, since a fight against non-existant enemies isn't very fun. Especially with one sentence posts. Try to make an introductory post, in which your character wakes up, and that could show some aspects of his life.

Re: [OOC] The Tiny World

Okeydoke. Thank you :D I'll have a character sheet submitted as soon as possible.
