Introduction
June 2006
5 college students from California set off on a road trip, during the summer after their junior year. Their destination, according to friends and family was Las Vegas, Nevada. The trip was supposed to last only a week, and two days after their supposed return time, with several unanswered phone calls, a report was filed for the five students missing.
November 2010
A series of 20 tapes are sent to the Los Angelas Police Department showing the events leading up to the murder of the five students, over four years ago, who have still been missing after the many years. They put in the tapes, each with footage of various angles of what looks similar to a small town in the middle of nowhere, showing the two days leading up to the death of the students.
:::::::::::
We are these students if you haven't guessed by now. We are on a road trip to Las Vegas, and have to stop for gas at the first town for miles of barren land. We stop at a quiet little town in the middle of nowhere, that the people call Happytown with a population of a little over fifty. What is supposed to be a quick stop for gas late at night, soon becomes a stay over night when they discover the tires of the car slashed. The night soon becomes a fight for survival against a town of crazy cannibal phsycopaths.
We need five students: 3 girls, 2 guys or the other way round. Either way I don't want 4 and 1. We can add one more person, maybe two but no more. I want long posts, not real long, but no 2 line posts. I want at least a seven sentence paragraph.

Mary just noticed what was happening when she smacked her head in to the back of the seat in front of her. The bus rolled to the side, and she flew in to the seat where Sam was, falling on to her. The bus stopped and she guessed the bus was probably done moving. She got off of Sam as quickly as she could, but now they were on the window, with the bus completely on it's side. She crawled over to the next seat, and took a moment to catch her breath. She wasn't hurt much except a few cuts and bruises, but she was still shocked, thinking about what just happened.

Her thoughts slowed to match the short, but oh so long, free fall as she was thrown off her feet when the bus had swerved. Eiher that, or her mind went into hyperspeed, so much so that it only seemed like slow motion. Probably the first one, I feel to heavy and sluggish to be thinking at hyperspeed, Samantha mused just before she hit the floor of the bus. And suddenly, time sped back up. Faster and faster still, until she felt something, or someone, land on her. Hard.
Something sharp and feeling faintly like a knee or an elbow hit her temple. Later, after she woke up, she would suppose that Mary's knee was the first thing that landed, as it had felt like all of her weight had been placed behind that blow. For now though, Samantha was swimming in blissful blackness. A void inside her mind. She was unconsious in the swerving bus. Knocked into oblivion by a misplaced friend.

The screams and shouts of the people in the bus was drowned by the loud screech and crash made by the old vehicle.
"What the fuck!!!!" Tiger choked and had a hard time breathing but managed to curse out of madness.
She didn't move her body as she feared something might be broken and would make the matters worse. She continouly groaned from the pain. "Help..." She uttered as she kept her eyes closed.
Then she smelled something that made her more scared.
Gas leaking.
"Jacoooobbbb... Unnggghhh... Get everyone out...." She moaned and tried to sit up by pulling herself up. "Go...."
"Everyone... hurry..."

Mary noticed the exit hatch on the ceiling of the bus which was now the wall. She pryed it open letting the light of the sunset in the bus. She looked down at Sam who was unconcious. She ran back and grabbed a bottle of water to splash in her face, but before that, she she had to get her out of here. She grabbed her by her arms, and dragged her out through the hatch. Mary was pretty small, and she was having trouble getting her out, but she managed to get her outside the bus. She looked at the damage, and fire was starting in the bus which ofcourse ran by gas.

"Help!" Jacob yelped from the driver's seat.
"Shit!" Was all she could say. She hurried to his side and tried to help him up. The adrenaline rush and smell of the gas that grows stronger made her pour all her energy out.
But Jacob continued to cry in pain, she saw his stuck foot and slowly brought him down again. "Shit shit shit shit!!!" She paused and tried to be calm.
"Jackson! Carlos! Dax! Anyone?! Jacob's bleeding and stuck! Help!" She called their attention. Mary was helping Sam she couldn't bother her anymore.
"Hold on Jacob! We will get you out! Just don't move!" She pushed back his hair from his forehead and assured him that he'd be out alive.
Her own arm bleeding, she pushed the thought away and tried to get something that would let Jacob's foot free. She grabbed the crow bar but stopped. She didn't know how to free him even with a tool. He might get more damage. "Fuck!" She shouted out of frustration.

"Mary, we need to help the others!" She yelled to the other girl as she ran back to the bus. At least, if we go, we all go. She let out a bitter chuckle at her cynnical and dark humor.
The first thing she saw was Tiger and Jacob, stuck. She studied the analyzed quickly and had figured out what needed to be done and where. "Tiger, you go get the others out of here, you're stronger than I am, Mary should be behind me to help you. I'll get Jacob out of this!"
She didn't take no for an answer, her adrenaline pumping thourgh her veins, she grabbed the crowbar and kneeled down next to Jacob's stuck leg. She took a closer look and what she saw terrified her. The car had basically wrapped around his leg, he probably broke something, bad. "Jacob, I'm going to need you to not look. Think about something else, and if you can find somthing to bite on, do it." Her face grim and drawn.
She stuck the crowbar into a small pocket next to his shin, the sharp side facing away from Jacob's leg. "On six... One, two, three, four-" She suddenly jerked the crowbar forward so that the top of the pocket would get bigger, then she would work her way down, inch by inch. Soon, she would work her way down to his foot and he'd be free.

Jacob hollared in pain as she pulled the metal up with the crowbar, with the flat side pressing against his hurt leg. He looked down at his leg, and grimaced in the sight of so much blood coming out of the wound. He began to get light in the head, and after a few minutes of blurred vision, finally fainted, making the pain go away as he fell into deep sleep.

"Got it!" She threw the crowbar out the window (who knew when a crowbar would come in handy again?) and rushed to Jacob's arms. Sam locked her elbows under his arms and started pulling, his back on her chest and his head lolled back over her right shoulder made it impossible to relocate her grip on him (or precious time would be lost) or to see anything to her right side.
Slowly but surely she pulled Jacob out the windshield, the largest opening and so the easiest access in and out of the bus.
"Is anyone missing?! Tiger?! Mary?!" She yelled loudly, hopefully everyone would be out soon (in the next minute or so) because the firse was almost at the gas tank. That heap of junk would go off like a sensitive explosive in minutes. They had about five minutes to hide behind the trees that were about a football field away. They could do it, they had to do it.
"Make way for the trees! Otherwise we'll all die in a fiery explosion! RUN!" She screamed at the top of her lungs to anyone that could hear, though unless unconsious they should all be able to, as she started on the long treck there herself though her height, or lack of, coupled with his height made it kind of hard. A lone thought wiggled it's way into her head as she inched her way to safety, I sure hope he doesn't get Nightingale Syndrome or Erotomania from this. That would really suck for me...

She dragged her friend up and on to the farthest she can leave him. And ran back to the bus to help the others.
"Jackson? Dax?" She cried for her other friends. "Damn it! Sam! Mary! The two guys are missing!" She rushed inside the bus and tried to look for the other two.

Smoke was filling the bus completely to where she couldn't even see where she was going. After yelling for about five minutes without answer, not finding them anywhere, she ran out of the bus as quickly as possible, coughing with bloodshot eyes, and dirty body. Mary felt around until she found the exit and jumped out of the bus. She saw Samantha motioning to the woods, and realized they had few moments left, before the bus exploded. She noticed Jack and Dax running with them, and wondered how she didn't notice them. As long as they were safe. Nobody was dead, yet. Tiger was still inside, she thought.
Mary peered her head into the bus, and yelled out Tiger's name, coughing violently. "TIGER! C'MON!" She saw Tiger searching the bus. "It's going to explode! The boys are outside the bus!" She pulled her head out of the exit and started running torwards the woods, looking back making sure Tiger was getting out safe. She looked up at the street and the semi was still parked in the middle. She ran up to the truck and looked inside the driver's seat. Nobody was there. She turned back to run to the woods. If only they were there, she could give them a few choice words about a few things wrong with what they did. She went back to the bus and waited for Tiger to come out. "C'mon Tiger!"

Jacob's eyes fluttered open slowly, as he noticed the loud sound coming from the bus. In a blurred vision he noticed everyone by him and a large ball of flames shooting up from the ground a few yards away. "What the hell?" He groaned. As he woke up more he suddenly realized the pain he was in. "Ahhh!" he yelled in pain. His leg was throbbing and bloody, and he didn't know what was going on. "Oh god that hurts!" he yelled. He felt like his leg was broken in ten different places, and not to mention, he had a enormous headache.

"Jacob, stay here. Someone, please watch him. I will go scavenge and see what can be found in these... woodlands. Please, someone else, look for a stream. Another of you, gather firewood and start a fire somehow (you can probably get some flame from the bus, it's still burning pretty well). And lastly, someone needs to make bandages from clothes if we can't find any. If there are any of you without a job now, go in a group to find the river or stream or some body of water." Samantha took charge, no one else was, and she knew how to survive in the wild if that was to be the case.
It was a good idea to bring her "survival guidebook" that she had. It had been a leather-bound notebook that she had written notes in about survival in the wild, in forests especially. Even moreso, finding edible plants throughout many places, especially in winter...

He tried to get back into his rhythm again to dull the pain when Sam started giving orders. He didn't hear his name, but he wasn't about to go looking for rivers right now. He was covered in blood and starting to feel light headed. Just moving to get back up against the tree had made his dizzy. He moaned, trying to ignore the voices around him and get back into that rhythmic pattern... in... out... in... out... in... out...

She noticed Carlos bleeding furiously as well. She immediately helped him and rolled her sweater and placed it on top of a rock to make him feel comfortable. She helped him lie down to ease the pain, "Hold on Carlos, I know what to do," She whispered to her friend. She found two durable sticks and 7 large leaves. She grabbed a bigger wood and walked over to the bus, she lit the big wood and walked back to where Carlos was. She disinfected the leaves by carefully warming them over the burning wood, one by one. She covered his bloody arm and placed the two sticks on each side of his arm and used her handkerchief to tie it.
"Just don't move it too much, hopefully we'll get to find some rescuers," She gave out a deep sigh.
As much as she wants to convince him that they will be okay, she knows they won't be.
She finally finished the improvised cast and checked Jacob, his wound was worse than Carlos and it made her bit her lip.

Mary finally reached the semi up the hill on the road. She slowly inched around the truck after looking underneath for anyone. Based on how hard it hit them, this was no accident, and this guy could be a crazy person. She made her way to the left side and walked up to the driver's seat. She looked up in the side view mirror to look for anyone. Nobody was there. As she opened the heavy door to the truck, a voice quietly, but serious, "Get off my truck." Mary jumped, her heart skipping a beat. She looked the woman up and down. She didn't even look like a trucker. She had a flower covered pink dress, and short black hair. She looked as if she came from the 70's.
"Uh, sorry, I uh," she paused, "Are you the one who ran in to us?" That was a stupid question, of course she did.
"Yes," replied the woman, plainly. "My apologies."
"Really, that's all you have to say," said Mary, raising her voice.
"There's a town five miles south," said the woman.
Mary was creeped out a bit. Just the way the woman spoke and carried herself. She seemed as if she was in a trance. She was a bit scared of the woman, so she said quietly, "Uh, ok thanks." The woman nodded and stood there staring at Mary. "Ok seriously, what's your problem!?" she yelled. It felt weird to yell.
"Aren't I helping?" asked the woman. She turned her head to the side still staring Mary down.

Quietly she said, "Thank you, Tiger. I hadn't known. I am sorry Carlos."
Samantha quickly got back to work on Jacob's leg. She had torn off some long strips of her shirt and used them as bandages, it was good that they were clean, she hadn't fallen in the grass and dirt in any rate.
She heard a whimper, probably from Jacob though it very well could be her own, she wasn't use to this. She hadn't ever seen this much blood on someone in her life, and though she'd never admit it- she was scared. Scared for Jacob, scared for Carlos, scared for the group, and scared for herself.
Samantha started to softly sing a soothing lullaby, to reassure herself, and maybe even help Carlos and Jacob forget their pain- well, if Jacob could hear her inside his unconsious mind.
Loo-li, Loo-li, Loo-li, Lai-lay
Lay down you're head, and I'll sing you a lullaby
Back to the years of Loo-li Lai-lay
And I'll sing you to sleep, and I'll sing you tomorrow
Bless with love for the road that you go
May you sail fair, to the far field of fortune
With diamonds and pearls, at your head and your feet
And may you need never, to banish misfortune
May you find kindness in all that you meet
May there always be angels to watch over you
To guide you each step of the way,
To guard you and keep you safe from all harm,
Loo-li, Loo-li, Lai-lay
May you bring love, and may you bring happiness
Be loved in return, to the end of your days
Now fall off to sleep, I'm not meaning to keep you
I'll just sit for a while and sing:
Loo-li, Lai-lay
May there always be angels to watch over you
To guide you each step of the way,
To guard you and keep you safe from all harm,
Loo-li, Loo-li, Lai-lay
Loo-li, Loo-li, Loo-li, Lai-lay
Loo-li, Loo-li, Loo-li, Lai-lay
Loo-li, Loo-li, Loo-li, Lai-lay

Re: [OOC] The Town
Avon has control of the entire West Baltimore drug trade. His territory included the prized Franklin Terrace tower blocks and the nearby low-rise projects, referred to as "the pit". Avon ran the organization as a hierarchy with himself at the top and Stringer directly below him. They were both isolated from the drugs, handling only money. Avon himself kept an extremely low profile, eschewing overt displays of wealth so as not to attract attention, avoiding being photographed, not having a driver's license, and owning nothing in his own name. He retained attorney Maurice Levy, who advised him on how to counter police investigations and represented members of the Barksdale organization at hearings and trials.
Avon had a number of enforcers for protection, contract killings, and intimidation work, including his old friend Wee-Bey Brice. He had several lieutenants reporting to him, each responsible for trade in a different area, with some receiving a percentage of the profits ("points on the package") of the narcotics they sold. Beneath the lieutenants there was typically a second-in-command and below them several drug dealers. The dealers would each have a particular role: "touts" were responsible for attracting customers; "runners" would deliver drugs to the customer; "look-outs" were responsible for watching for police or stick-up gangs approaching; or handling the money and the level of supply. Each dealer would receive a weekly cash payment for their work from the lieutenant above them.
Every member of the organization was subject to strict rules designed to thwart police investigations. The dealers were not allowed to carry cell phones or take drugs. They were all aware of how to deal with police interrogation and knew that the organization would protect them up to a point, but if they turned on Avon they would be killed. Lieutenants and enforcers carried pagers so that they could be contacted. They were subject to the same rules as the dealers, but also knew not to talk business in cars, public places or with anyone outside of the organization. Such discussions were limited to property and territory owned by the Barksdale organization.
A strict telephone usage policy was applied rigidly throughout the organization. The pager messages were encoded to prevent easy tracing of the telephones used, all of which were public telephones. The code was based on simple use of the telephone keypad - numbers were swapped with their opposite across the number five, and five was exchanged with zero, making it accessible to poorly-educated drug dealers. Each pager-carrying member of the organization was identified by a number. When pages were returned with a phone call no names were supposed to be used, and if a name was used, the speaker was rebuked. A separate code was used for resupply signals, which involved turning the pager display upside down.
Avon received his narcotics supply through a connection to a Dominican organization in New York and had several other options for suppliers in surrounding cities. The main supply of narcotics was separated from the rest of the organization and held in a house in Pimlico where it could be cut and divided into smaller "stashes" for distribution among the Barksdale towers. Once inside the towers, these smaller packages were moved from room to room on a regular basis, to avoid the scrutiny of police and stick-up men such as Omar Little.
Avon's main office was one of his front organizations, a strip club named Orlando's. It was here, behind a locked and heavily guarded door, that the drug money was counted and secured before being sent on to its ultimate destination. Avon usually conducted his business in this office, rarely venturing onto the street. The club's legal owner, Orlando Blocker, was kept away from the drugs in order to maintain the front's appearance of legitimacy for the city.
The organization laundered its profits through various fronts, including a funeral parlor, Orlando's, and a property developing company named B&B. It also invested in property, never actually using either Barksdale or Bell's names on official papers. It also made campaign contributions—and later bribes—to Senator Clay Davis, ostensibly for assistance with development contracts.
