Andrew has always been a fit and well built boy, but has always strayed closer to the lean side. His mother would always state that he possessed the kindest smile she had ever seen in her life, and he always held that comment dear. Other than that, Andrew has always thought he wasn't much to look at. His hair a coppery-red, which he almost always keeps tousled in a lazy up do , is complemented by his warm chocolatey brown eyes and a strong jaw line. Luckily, he has never had to deal with blemished skin or any imperfections, and his fair skin is rather healthy, he blames it on good genes. Andrew isn't one to continually work out but he manages to stay in a consistent lean shape, and a broad-shouldered form. Even though dashing looks seem to get him a bit of attention from those who don't know him, he isn't one to fuss or fret over his appearance. He's too focused on the tasks at hand to even appreciate most comments.

Andrew wouldn't ever consider himself to be any certain style. If anything it would be that of a lazy teenage boy. He prefers athletic brands such as Nike and Adidas, often finding himself wearing their apparel. He just doesn't take the time in the morning to meticulously pick out an outfit, and normally just throws on whatever is this most convenient. However, for certain occasions he keeps a section of nice clothes that he keeps in case of a 'fashion' emergency, but he really doesn't even know what that means.

Andrew is a very kind, honest and caring person, especially when pertaining to his friends and family. His suffering derives from merely having to stand by and watch his friends and family suffer with their various problems while knowing that there is nothing he can do to ease their pain. He hates feeling helpless when it comes to situations involving the people that he loves.
Andrew is a guy who wears his emotions on his sleeve, as the people closest to him can see how sensitive he becomes about different topics at hand. However, this in no way diminishes his masculinity as Andy has had a large problem with controlling his anger. He can easily become disgruntled and angry when things don't go his way, and it's never been something that he's proud of.
Deep down, Andrew has always been a softie at heart, almost like a giant teddy bear. He is always quick to help others in the time of need, and can't resist a good laugh, with many dimples that accompany his smile. Which is something he hides quite often, or at least something he tries to not make a big deal out of (showing weakness has never been something he's liked).
One thing about Andrew is how fiercely loyal he is to his family and friends, which is where the majority of his problems come from. As he is constantly torn between the conflicting views of his family and friends. Though he is indeed a loyal individual, Andrew unfortunately has a very low self-esteem, leading him to make bad, self-destructive decisions or him being easily manipulated and tempted. He has a habit of placing others before himself quite frequently, and nearly all his worries are about the people he loves.
Andy's personality often comes off as almost flirtatious to some but it's just his kind-hearted nature of complimenting and swagger that can charm the pants off of most. He hasn't really met anyone that is uncomfortable in his presence, seeing as how he exudes an air of confidence and positive energy that most people gladly feed off of. It was something he learned from his mother, but has developed it almost more so. However, his combined traits of confidence and charm can make him come off as somewhat vain and entitled in some situations.
✔ Andrew absolutely loves peanut butter, when he was small he used to eat it by the spoonful out of the jar until his mother caught him. He has also acquired the taste for coffee and normally has to have at least 2 or more cups of coffee that morning for him to have a good day. Andrew can simply say he enjoys being alone a lot of the time, it helps him think. He also loves music although he cant sing himself, listening to others is almost a relaxing thing for him. He loves dark chocolate, and the setting of a a rainy day while reading a book. He often takes morning jogs through the town, and enjoys rocky road ice cream as a treat afterward. He has also almost definitely been a dog lover, but doesn't mind a couple kittens here and there.
✖ He cannot stand the thought of liars, he finds it impossible that people can craft such damaging words on their tongue. Andrew isn't a fan of people who boast (even though he's all to guilty of it himself. Andy has never liked the thought of a bully, tater tots, or the sight of blood. He once scraped his knee during a track meet and passed out on the spot.

+ Andrew is selfless, he'll do anything to protect those he cares about and will lay anything down to protect them. He'll run into the middle of chaos just to save someone's life. He is also honest and a great listener. He doesn't mind when people ramble on about their problems to him, considering he thinks being able to talk it out is the best form of medicine. Andrew is just a genuine friend. While he can be a little judgmental and hesitant at first due to differences, once he sees the good in someone he will be by their side. Some say brave, some say stupid. Either way, Andy doesn't back away from a situation. He is scared of many things, but his curiosity and selflessness always prevails over it.
- Andrew can sometimes become a very aggressive individual, although he is a softie there is something about intense anger for him that he can't possibly control. Andy has always been quite insecure with almost everything, but he hides it well. He has almost always been in the shadow of his older brother, Markus, so he has become quite unsure in his own abilities and accomplishments. He has always had an internal struggle to prove himself to his father, and this sometimes leads him into reckless decisions, and actions. Considering Andrew is an athletic semi-heartthrob he has a little bit of an ego. He can be a little selfish and self-indulged sometimes but it only takes a snarky comment to kick him off of his high horse. Although most of the time he is unyielding to any negative comments about his character, he often takes it to heart. His self-worth is tied up in others and he can easily be beaten down by other's comments. He has always been overly sensitive, ever since he was a child.

More than anything Andrew is terrified of his father, the man is truly scary and has tormented Andy for the latter half of his life. Even scarier to Andrew is the idea that he could someday come the man he has learned to cower from, but yet he still seeks his approval. Naturally Andrew is terrified of the sight of blood, it makes him sick to his stomach and he also hates spiders. As for supernaturals the fear is rather low, but there's something about werewolves that just creeps him out.

"I'm - trying to keep an open mind, but it's hard. Even if I accepted them with open arms, I still wouldn't belong. Not to mention if I befriended any of them and my father found out, he'd string me up and kill me on the spot".
While his father instilled a negative image of supernaturals into him his mother did quite the opposite. While he is torn between the two views he leans ultimately more towards his mother's. Deep down, he's a genuine heart and he could truly never have the capacity for hatred that his own father does. Still, it should be noted that the horrendous tales his father has told him still make him rather weary and cautious of the academy's students.
Andrew Joseph Collier was born to Maura and Jacob Collier on a particularly warm spring afternoon in Bristol, England. Growing up, he lived that of a normal childhood, he was involved in sports and many activities within his elementary and middle school years. Andrew was very close to his parents as he grew up, however, the constant approval he sought from his father was blocked by that of his older brother Markus. Jacob Collier was a burly man, who believed in strength and action unlike his passive and gentle wife, Maura. So when he had two strapping sons to teach he couldn't have been prouder. Unfortunately for Andrew though, he was instantly identified as the softer, more emotionally inclined son unlike Markus who was a true brute force of strength. While that brought Andrew closer to his mother, the hole that his father's disapproval left in his heart was still there.
He had an array of friends as a child, and was highly social. A curious and adventurous child, he had his fair share of getting in trouble. He did well in school, but nothing too note worthy. Although he wasn't academically gifted, he was athletically. Andrew excelled at track in his teen years, climbing his way to achieve and break many of the towns records. It was the one part of his life that he felt truly happy with, and every time he ran it was almost a relief from the cluttered activities of the town.
When he was fifteen his father killed a man. Or "thing" as Jacob said. He drug it through the back yard all the way up to the porch, with an image that will forever be seared into Andrew's brain. It was a man, no younger than twenty but no older than twenty-five. Still bleeding, from a bullet wound directly from his heart. But this was no ordinary man. His eyes glowed an ominous yellow, and his face was contorted in a way that not only belonged to a man but a wolf as well. A mutt his father told him. A werewolf his mother informed. Apparently,
Andrew most definitely would've been corrupted by his father's words if it weren't for his mother. She unknowingly went behind her husband's back to tell whimsical and genuine stories of fae, vampires, witches, ect. plastering the good image inside her sons head. "They're just like us Andy, but just a little different you see?"
Thorn Hill. Just thinking about it makes his palms sweaty. His father had caught wind of the town of supernaturals in Thorn Hill, and without even a moments hesitation up and moved the family to Scotland. The idea that he could infiltrate a town of monsters was all too enticing for the man, and at the news of acceptance of humans into their academy he was giddy. Unfortunately for Jacob it didn't go as planned. While he tried to enlist Markus into the school, they refused due to him being too old but would gladly accept Andrew. Andy didn't really have a choice, as his father pushed him into enrolling for all the wrong reasons, just after uprooting him from his life in Bristol that he so desperately missed.
