Introduction

Today's Dream Are Tomorrow's Reality

Image

Everyone expects you to follow behind your parents footsteps. To launch your own record deal, to dance, draw, or even to take over their five star restaurant. But what if you don't want to? Everybody has their own interests, their own dreams, and things they'd like to do for themselves and not for other people - even if it is for people that they care about. You don't have to follow behind their footsteps; you can be whoever you want to be. If your parents own a 5 star restaurant, who cares? You don't have to cook for a living, you can be a dancer! If your parents are famous actors, you can become a doctor! It isn't about following behind your parents, it is following behind your heart and to become what you want to.

Trouble is, things are easier said than done. Breaking through the tradition is much harder than you've thought. Whether you want to become a photographer or a professional athlete, you'll have to wait until you're old enough to legally make your own decisions. The delightful 18th year.

How will YOU break through the tradition and come to follow through to your hopes and dreams? Will you be willing to hurt some of the people you love to get through with it?

The Plot

Eighteen years old; the legal age of adulthood. Now, you can make your own decisions. You can be whatever you want to be, and pursue whatever career you want to. Legally, this is true, but for your parents it may be different. Sure you can choose whatever college you want to, and specialize in whatever branch, but where will you get the money from? Even if you are rich, or even from a regular suburban family, all that money comes from your parents. You can never afford it, even with your summer job. You will have to convince your parents yourself, and show them just how much you want to become an artist, dancer, photographer, etc. And you'll go through all the ends of the Earth to show them just that.

It was a four o'clock on a Sunday morning. Sane people would still be asleep at this time, right? Eighteen year old Alexis Mae DiAvanzo wasn't. Trudging down a couple flights of stairs behind her mother, Lexy had managed to slip on a fresh pair of skinny jeans and a pink blouse before heading out for the restaurant. It was the first Sunday of the July, and the day of one of the biggest events of the year; Independence Day. Stepping out of the house behind her mother, Alexis took a quick glance of her home. It was a fairly big building, an alarming five floors, painted and chipping with clean white paint. It was a sort of a European style home, the front yard decorated and lined with aisles and aisles of summer flowers. They didn't have a dog, so it stayed pretty clean. Following to the car parked in front of the house, Alexis headed to the back of the family small minivan. Her parents occupied the front of the car, and muttered amongst themselves as they headed to the restaurant. Their restaurant, or the family restaurant I should say, was a good 15 or so minutes away, and located near the seaside boardwalk. It was a pretty small diner, but had a pretty successful amount of money because of its location. The name, 'Clifton's Seaside Diner', was named by her father an alarming 25 years ago. Twenty five years running, and the place was still booming. That fact surprised Lexy, considering how careless and forgetful her father could be at home. She glanced to the middle aged man in the middle of the car at that, looking back outside the window as they neared the ocean. She knew it was all because of her mother the restaurant was still there.

It being the Fourth of July, it was almost a guarantee that the restaurant would be crowded today. Tourist, tourists, tourists. It was only four in the morning and everyone who owned a store by the boardwalk were already up and moving! It was amazing how early people were willing to wake up for times like these! Her parents had gotten double the amount of people to work shifts for today in preparations for all the customers, even putting in a few extra tables and chairs outside for more room. All employees were required to come to work at six in the morning, or they wouldn't be taken in for work at all. Harsh, Lexy knows, but her parent's couldn't afford anyone to be late. They needed all of them to be there at 6 o'clock sharp or it was nothing. The car started to slow near the parking lot of the beach, and Lexy saw the boardwalk entrance from the backseat. They had to walk a good five minutes down there until they reach at Seaside.

The sun was just beginning to rise, and reflected off the ocean's waves as they started the down the boardwalk. The beach smelled of salt water, and emitted off familiarity to Lexy. She must have spent almost every day here as a kid. The time was in between dusk and dawn, and the sun was just beginning to seep past the night clouds. Glancing sideways to the camera tucked inside her bag, Lexy yearned to take a picture. She had brought the camera today for the fireworks later tonight, but she had already wanted to sneak a picture. Looking from her bag to her parents a few steps ahead of her, she rolled her eyes. If she took out her camera for a quick snapshot, her mom would definitely say something. Either she would be complaining about how she was always with her camera, or she would just shoot her an annoyed glance at her. Her mom hated it when Lexy would take pictures. Mostly because she knew how easily she would choose photography over their family restaurant. That she would much rather become professional photographer with her own business than keep the family restaurant going when her parents would retire. It angered her.

" Americans and their holidays." The bronze skinned man muttered with an appreciable laugh as he ran a hand through his short though very black hair. His mouth twisted in a wry grin as he sat contemplating the 'view' as it were, so clever was this act most would swear the man was deciding what item on the menu caught his fancy however. In reality his eye was on the beach nearby, bathed in the heat of yet another prefect summer day. This being summer and it being southern California the women were dressed exactly to his tastes, that is to say in swimsuits.

The 'view' however pleasing to his eye was not enough to satisfy neither his hunger nor no doubt the impatience of the waiters. The native, for such he was, went by the name of Shawn and was broke as broke could be, the names of people he owed money were neither wholesome nor agreeable to his tastes. That is to say he owed money to the one group of people he wanted least to burden, that group being the band he belonged to. The Beausoleil First Nation was paying for both his stay in this sunny corner of these United States of America and the reason he was here. However with it's many members the funds currently granted to Shawn 'Running Wolf' Peter was needless to say rather lacking. Still a man has gotta eat and so Shawn was here in this little diner set next to a beach watching Americans celebrate their national holiday, a revel which served the purpose of honoring their forefathers defeat of the hated British.

"If by honoring you mean drinking till you puke and wet t-shirts contests featuring nubile young ladies." He added to his words with another laugh, causing some of the nearby patrons to eye him. It was a rare day Shawn didn't raise the ire of a random stranger and today seemed be well on it's way in that department.

But all witty observational humor aside he needed to order something or they'd chuck him out on his toned ass with nary a concern for his hunger. Scanning the menu rapidly he came to the conclusion if he didn't eat for the next three days he could afford a rather nice lunch. Or if he desired to live past the end of the weak he could afford a poor lunch.

"Beggars can't be choosers." Shawn said aloud with a wink to a passing girl who eyed him with a little of the heat of summer in her eyes. How he loved this little sunny corner of America, now if only the traffic was a little better this place might be a paradise in the loosest sense of the word. Placing an order for the small meal his gut would have to be satisfied with he figured he bought himself a few more minutes of admiring the 'view'. And every flavor of gorgeous was out on display strutting their stuff in the easy days of summer.

Though he had been here but a year Shawn truly missed somethings about home, winter being the most pressing. The feel of a cold winter wind and the joys of ice skating with a pretty girl. The taste of warm venison stew as you watched lazy snowflakes spiral down to join their countless brothers already on the ground. But those memories were the reason he found himself so far from his northeastern Canadian home. His people were the world to Shawn and to serve them heart,mind,and soul was the reason he was here. His family however saw differently, not the goal but in method. The eighteen year old native wished a different path in life then his father took, not out of desire for rebellion but out of true compassion. His people did not need another man like his father, they needed a man who could speak the snake tongue of the white man's law. One who could twist the lies and deceptions of the European races into the honest words of those who knew justice and honor.

But such things were merely a battleground waiting to happen, and Shawn refused to take up arms against his family. And so he retreated to this place in hopes of proving through actions his words would one day shape a brighter future for his people. Of course such things had proved difficult, the studying,the training, the endless nights spent cramming to earn his spot, and of course his financial problems. He was smart this Shawn 'Running Wolf' Peter and a better work ethic you'd be hard pressed to find. But brains and brawn only got one so far, money makes the world go round no matter how hard you think otherwise.

Shawn in his threadbare red t-shirt and black cargo shorts was anything but rich. From time to time he'd find himself the recipient of money from people who had mistaken him for a homeless person. It was perhaps adding insult to injury but in the end it was perhaps not so far from the truth. He lived in a run down apartment building in a rather 'colourful' part of L.A and his part time job working as a cashier at a convenience store barely covered rent and food. And part time was all he could afford with his demanding academic schedule. Even then he'd often come home from work, having yet driven another would be robber away, only to have to force his tired mind and body into yet more study.

"Sir your order." The waiter said snapping the native from his enjoyable past time of eyeing lovely ladies.

The meal was indeed small but it was food and for the physically active Shawn that was all that mattered.

The sun basked her blue eyes and thick chocolate brown hair. Her eyelashes seperated from closed lids as they blinked once at the disappearance of darkness. The glitter of the canopy looked like little angels and stars in the daytime from the glinting of the sun as it hit the fabric. The window seat was lit up brightly as light bounced off of it and shone into the rest of the room. Today was a special day and for different reasons. To start with, it was the first Sunday of July and this year that meant that Independence Day was today. The second reason is that in exactly one week, on July 11th, she would finally be eighteen years old. What a joy.

Hanna slid up off her back as she stretched her long smooth arms into the air, touching the canopy. She pulled her legs from under the blankets and rolled on top of them happily, in a dream-like state. Everything felt so magical. Unlike most people, she was a morning person. A new day mean a new adventure. And a new adventure meant a new story. Hanna pushed her feet onto the floor and danced around the glossy wooden boards. She couldn't wait any longer just wasting time playing around in her room. She had to get ready so they could go out. So they could go to the beach! It was her favorite place to go. She scurried into the bathroom and took a shower. The warm water hit her smooth tanned skin as she tried to decide which scent to use.

"Hm...I think I'm going to have to go with Moonlight Magic this morning," she said with a smile.

She sang as she showered, not caring how she sounded but it actually wasn't too bad. Finally, she dried off and wrapped her robe around her body, her hair wrapped in a towel. Hanna walked over to her wardrobe and opened its doors. Hm, what to wear? She picked a red and blue plaid tank. It was definitely going to be hot today, like always. It took about ten minutes for her to find her favorite pair of white shorts but she was able to find them. Hanna went back into her bathroom and dried her hair out so that it was fluffy and thick. She decided to let it stay wavy so she put some hair products on it so it wouldn't frizz or look crazy. She went back and put on her outfit, made her bed and put on her favorite perfume before going downstairs. Everyone was downstairs, including her brother and sister. After everyone finished talking and such they all got into the car and drove to the beach, though they could have walked since they lived so close.

It was already starting to get hot once they got there. It was also getting crowded. By noon the boardwalk would be filled. The family sat down in a diner to get a quick bite to eat. They were all laughing and having fun, and therefore they had Hanna's full attention. Hanna could hear people outside on the beach though and that's when she started to focus on the outside instead.

"Hanna, darling, finish your food," her mother told her exasperated. She wasn't in the mood to deal with Hanna's behavior in the morning. She never was.

Hanna stood up. "I'm done. I'm gonna go to the beach. Meet me there." Without another word or care she left the diner. Her sister would probably be out soon so they would go change into their bathing suits and get into the ocean. Until then, Hanna would walk in the sand and just daydream. The thing she loved to do best. She sat down close to the tide and closed her eyes as she inhaled the salty winds and then she opened her eyes.

It was all beautiful.

Cecile glanced down, her stomach filled with nothing but dread as she took in the red digits that flashed for a couple seconds, taunted her, before they paused. There lay the red numbers that ruled her life since childhood. She bit her bottom lip, stepping off the scale and onto it for the third time. She was met with the same torturous process of having to wait and see if somehow the scale had made a mistake... if it differed by the way she stood, so how she placed her arms: to the side, above her head, on her hips. She had measured herself twice before weighting herself and had been encountered with same numbers since last month. Standing at 5'7, she was 120 pounds.
Well...I used to be, Cecile thought miserably, as the scale blinked 123 lbs.

She winced at the her mother's words, "With weight like that...it'll get you no where. How are you even supposed to compete with other girls your age? Such a dumb girl. Look at Gina...Ginny. She's taller than you and weighs ten pounds lighter than you, didn't you go on the diet I planned out for you?"

"Yeah I did, mom." She had snapped back, tired of her mother's complaining - she hated it when her mother compared her to other girls, "friends", she'd met in model school, "Besides, they told me I was fine."

"Liars. That's what they are. Don't be so naive, Cecile. They're trying to get rid of ya."

Cecile's fist curled as she thought of the luncheon she had with her mother yesterday. She shouldn't have gone, she'd known that every 'luncheon' she had with her mom ended badly. Cecile put on her clothes, and made her way to the kitchen. She was currently sharing a flat with a friend she met in high school. They hadn't known each other super well, but once they realized they were moving to the same place, decided rooming with someone you knew beforehand was more comfortable than rooming with someone you didn't know at all.

"Hey Beth." Cecile smiled, instantly covering any trace of dejection on her face, "Boy, it's crazy outside, huh?" She gestured towards the window where they could both see the streets were crowded with people.
"Happy Independence day?" Beth joked, taking a bite of her cereal, "Want some breakfast?"
"I'm good. I'm just a bit thirsty." Cecile replied cooly, sipping a cup of water.
"Suit yourself," Beth laughed, "So you planning in seeing the fireworks tonight down at the beach?"
"For sure." Cecile nodded. She loved fireworks. "You?"
"If they let me off work," Beth sighed, "But probably not. Bars tend to get a little crazy these times of year."
Cecile nodded, grabbing her sunglasses and keys off the table, "If you come, lemme know. I'll want some company, you know...besides my family."
Beth laughed, "Yeah, that can't be the greatest company."

Beth was one of the few people who knew how torn Cecile's relationship with her mother was. Keeping things from someone who lived with you, Cecile had learned, tended to be a tad difficult.

"Where are you racing off to?" Beth asked, cleaning up her plate.
"I was thinking about going for a walk, before work. I have a couple hours to kill." Cecile replied.
"One more thing." Beth called out, and Cecile turned. Beth threw something towards her and she caught it quickly, realizing the inanimate object that had almost knocked her out was an apple.
"One apple won't kill you." Beth said quietly.

In that one moment, Cecile face flushed. She turned away quickly, adopting a playful tone, "No kidding, but your pitching arm just might."
It would have all been perfect if she voice hadn't wavered.

I lay in bed comfortable and relaxed after or long flight from New Jersey to LA. Our parents decided that my โ€œsinful waysโ€, as they put it, needed to come to an end so they up and sent me to stay with my aunt for the summer. I still remember the night.

-Flashback-
โ€œJasmine, Xavier get down here me and your mother need to talk to you guys.โ€ My father yells up to us. Gosh there annoying I happen to be having a very important conversation with my best friend Allisa.

โ€œComing, hey Allisa I have to go.โ€ I say to her before ending the call and running down the stairs to the kitchen. Once entering I see my parents sitting there with serious faces and my younger twin brother sitting there looking as though he had just woken up.

โ€œSo what did you guys want. โ€œ Xavier and I ask in unison.

โ€œJasmine your father and I believe that your sinful ways and behavior absolutely is appalling, we have decided to send you and your brother off to LA to stay with your aunt Abigail for the summer. We just donโ€™t want you hanging around your hooligan friends.

โ€œWhy do I have to go?โ€ Xavier asks before I can even form a decent response. My parents absolutely piss me off. First they donโ€™t listen to me when I try to tell them anything about my dance team and now they want me to stop hanging around my friends I just donโ€™t understand them. Itโ€™s like theyโ€™re out to personally out to destroy my life.

โ€œXavier we only ask that you accompany your sister so that you can set a good example of how she should act.โ€ They reply to his question from before. I laugh internally, they still think heโ€™s the good child, this kid is worse than me sometimes. They donโ€™t even know itโ€™s all an act. Ugh I just hate them and their stupid jobs that make them all uptight.

-End Flashback-

So this brings me to where I am now, lying down trying to get some rest, but oh no thatโ€™s impossible.

โ€œJasmine get your lazy butt up.โ€ My annoying little twin brother Xavier yell in my ear. I mean how he can be so hyper we
just practically got off the plane is a mystery to me.

โ€œZay get out of here and leave me the hell alone.โ€ I beg hoping he would hear the sleepiness in my voice, but of course I never get what I want.

โ€œJasmine Elliot Rose Iโ€™m stuck here because of you so youโ€™re going to get out of this bed put on a bikini and grab a towel because we are going to the beach. If I have to be here im going to make the best of it and get a beautiful tan and hit on some hot chicks, now you have 15 minutes and trust me you donโ€™t want me to come back up into this room.โ€ By the time he finishes im already out of the bed and stretching, I swear if someone on the outside saw this they would think I was the younger sibling. Itโ€™s not even like that I just hate making him mad, weโ€™re too close to be mad at each other, and I know when he is on the verge of getting mad at me because he uses my full name.

โ€œOk god Zay you know you can be rather annoying, im up and im going just give me 20 minutes please.โ€ I beg

โ€œOk ok but only 20 minutes. โ€œ He replies while walking out the room giving me time to change.

After showering and changing we are off. God this is going to be a very long and hot day. Especially since itโ€™s the 4th of July and itโ€™s extremely crowded on these streets. I wish I wouldnโ€™t have agreed.

Five am;

July 4th, Present.

Christine yawned suddenly and looked out her window. "Today was going to be a good day." she muttered to herself quietly. Stretching just a little bit, she heard her mother from downstairs. Christine! Christine! Yelling back, I'm coming mother! Christine yelled at the top of her lungs. With the golden brown hair that always seemed to be straight which hung to her shoulders, Christine continued to stretch once more, trying to relax some. This was the first time her parents were home in two weeks. All the time they were gone, she ended up running the house. Though they left her enough money to go and pay the bills that were needed. Christine! The husky voice started yelling again. Are you coming or not! Rolling her eyes she yelled back once more. Yes mom. God, let me get dressed would you!

It was the first day that they were accepting new lawyers at the office, and both Christine's parents wanted her to be there. They knew she'd grow up to be a famous lawyer just like they were. It wasn't what she wanted though. Throwing on a pair of hip hugger jeans and a white shirt that buttoned up and with a small neck collar, she looked at herself in the mirror tugging down on the shirt slightly and unbuttoning one of the buttons from the top to show some of her chest, or at least where her collar bones rested. Putting the family necklace around her neck to make it more fashionable and more outstanding she ran her fingers through her hair and allowed the strands to fall wherever they wanted to lay.

Finally, heading down the stairs, she heard her mother once again starting to yell at her. She tried to ignore it and then finally when she was in front of her, she couldn't help but laugh when she heard.. Oh you're here. Christine giggled quietly to herself, and looked at her. What did you expect? I was getting dressed and seeing as it's five am, how do you expect me to be up and ready when you are? Christine's mother looked at her with a face that was almost priceless in which it made her giggle again. Relax mom. I know this is important for you today, but it's not so much important for me. She grinned knowing she was going to get yelled at once more, but her mother just smiled and said, Come along dear, you're going to meet some of my closest friends in the firm today. I want you to be presentable enough for them. Groaning, Christine pulled her sandals on and let the bottom of her jeans fall over her ankles, and followed her mother out the door.

While they were out, Christine saw a doctor's office that said, "Apply within." Excited enough she looked over at her mother and said, I'll be right back mom. I need to get some coffee. How about I just meet you down at the firm so you're not late. Christine's mom looked back at her and nodded her head once. Her father was already at the firm that morning. Of course the early bird catches the worm; as the saying goes. Christine waited until her mother was out of sight and headed towards the doctors office. If anything this would be a good start in getting in as a nurse. Which is what Christine really wanted. Though her parents thought different.

Walking into the office she looked around. The place was huge and had florescent lighting everywhere. Kids were crying and parents were trying to calm them down. A little boy had dropped his bottle on the floor,and the mother was picking it up. Again he dropped it, and she picked it up once more. To the kid it was a game. To the mother, it was probably driving her crazy. She walked up to the glass booth, and started reading some of the pamphlets that were there. She sighed heavily and then heard some what of a small squeaky voice. "Yes, can I help you? Do you have an appointment with Dr. Bailey." Christine jumped a bit at the voice. "No, no I don't. I'm not actually here for an appointment or wanting to make an appointment. I saw the sign outside the building saying apply within." Christine felt her face become a bit flush. "Right." Said the secretary. "Here is the application. Please fill this out accordingly, and hand it back to me." Christine nodded and went to go sit in one of the uncomfortable chairs in the waiting room. Once she finished filling it out, she handed it back to the secretary. "So, when should I hear a call?" Christine asked bashfully."

"In the next few days, the secretary said. I'll be making the calls and you'll have to be available for when I do call." Christine nodded and slipped her hand through the hole in the plexy glass window shaking the secretary's hand. "I'll be available." Christine said in a soft voice. Finally, she started leaving the doctor's office and headed towards her parents law firm. Smiling big she knew this was going to be the best day ever. But if her parents found out, all hell would break loose.

Once an Item has been created, it can be spawned in the IC using /spawn Item Name (case-sensitive, as usual) — this can be followed with /take Item Name to retrieve the item into the current character's inventory.

Mobs

Give your Universe life by adding a Mob, which are auto-replenishing NPCs your players can interact with. Useful for some quick hack-and-slash fun!

Mobs can be automated spawns, like rats and bats, or full-on NPCs complete with conversation menus. Use them to enhance your player experience!

Re: [OOC] Today's Dreams Are Tomorrow's Reality

Ive posted. Let me know if anything needs to be changed or if the post is okay.

Re: [OOC] Today's Dreams Are Tomorrow's Reality

Thanks i figured out what to write and posted it :D

Re: [OOC] Today's Dreams Are Tomorrow's Reality

The setting is in LA, so most of us live there. So our characters can go and mingle with each other, it should be around something like that. Maybe your character could be just visiting for the summer, considering it to be the Forth of July and all.

Re: [OOC] Today's Dreams Are Tomorrow's Reality

I told myself not to ask this but....

I'm a little confused, does everyone or just your character live in LA????

Re: [OOC] Today's Dreams Are Tomorrow's Reality

And I've submitted my character. Just letting you know.

Re: [OOC] Today's Dreams Are Tomorrow's Reality

FINALLY STARTED THE ROLEPLAY ! (:

I couldn't start the roleplay yesterday or this morning, but it's up now :D You guys can start to posting. It's currently summertime & the Forth of July. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. (:

@Innocent, I'm not sure if you can post without submiting a character in the tab itself (you know you're already accepted), so if you can't just submit it there again and I'll accept you that way. (:

Re: [OOC] Today's Dreams Are Tomorrow's Reality

All edited. Now it looks more legit. :D

Re: [OOC] Today's Dreams Are Tomorrow's Reality

Cure & theMoonlightTheory, you are accepted (:

&that is fine Innocent, don't worry.

Re: [OOC] Today's Dreams Are Tomorrow's Reality

Just so everyone knows, I have 4 days left of work, and then I'm off for 3 days. Please be patient with me while posting. I may not get a chance to post right away.

Re: [OOC] Today's Dreams Are Tomorrow's Reality

Just resubmit in the tab now, and you're good to go. (:

Re: [OOC] Today's Dreams Are Tomorrow's Reality

@Derek Smith: XD I'm so so sorry! I was probably still half asleep when I did that, I'll go change it right now. Dx

@Innocent: I'll PM you in about a minute, hold on.

@Felicity&Derek: I'll probably start it tomorrow morning then, if that's good. I don't think I can do it tonight D:

Re: [OOC] Today's Dreams Are Tomorrow's Reality

I'll go in with the camp that anytime is good for me. And I know this is petty but you misspelled my user name xxLilly.

Re: [OOC] Today's Dreams Are Tomorrow's Reality

Anytime to start the RP would be good for me, but I'd like to start sooner than later - depending on what others say. People could still join after we started posting anyway. :)

Re: [OOC] Today's Dreams Are Tomorrow's Reality

Lawyer Female please...
I have the character sheet already.

Image
Name: Christine Alexandira Chase

Nickname: Allie.

Age: 18

Gender:Female

Career Aspiration: Female Nurse.

Personality: Christine cared about her job, but she never really cared about the person she was dealing with. Always putting on a fake smile, and telling people what they actually wanted to hear instead of telling the truth. She was shy, and oblivious at times, but she didn't care. Her personality, was different from the rest of the lawyers; all she really wanted was to get paid and then go home. She didn't bother to worry about anyone else other than herself.

Likes & Dislikes:

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    ~*~Dislikes.~*~
    Onions.
    Hot peppers.
    Tea.
    Loud Obnoxious people.
    Annoying people.
Background: Grew up in New York State. She's always loved the city, but for some reason now she was getting tired of it. It was never ending and it was never quiet. She wanted things to be peaceful, but when you live in a state that never sleeps it's little but impossible. Christine has but 2 siblings, a sister and a brother. Both of them being younger than her; she had to look after them while her parents were working. With her dad being a lawyer, and her mom being a nurse at the hospital, she never really got to see her parents except for their days off. Even then, their days off were not always days off. Growing up, Christine always wanted to be a nurse, she remembered telling her father that one day she wanted to help people get better and find cures for diseases. When she graduated high school, she proceeded onto university and got her bachelors degree.
Christine always loved her parents, but she wanted to do what she like doing and growing up to be. Though feeling like she didn't do things right when she was around them. They left her to look after her siblings while they were at work, so growing up became quick for her. When they were not fighting or arguing; Christine would sit in her room and write in her journal about how her day had gone. Everything seemed to be a blur, the last time that she had even spoken to her father. Things weren't the same now. They were different. It would have been nice if her parents would at least say "Hi." to her when they saw her in the streets; but they don't even acknowledge her.
Other:Christine's biggest fear is spiders, and her deepest darkest secret is that she's into females, instead of males. Though she'd never let anyone know, it could ruin her career.
Re: [OOC] Today's Dreams Are Tomorrow's Reality
The Roles:
Sean 'Running Wolf' Peter//Lawyerby Derek Smith
Kenneth Chris Gonzales//Chefby xxLilly
[Male]
{no longer accept female characters}
So here's the updated list for roles, I'm pretty happy on how the ratio ended up so far for boys/girls- it's actually pretty even! :D
Also, I was wondering what time would be best for you guy's to start the roleplay. Either tonight, tomorrow, or maybe two days from now in hopes more people show up then (: If you guy's are busy or anything, with vacation maybe, let me know and maybe we can wait until then.So which would you prefer? I was thinking either tonight or sometime tomorrow.
Re: [OOC] Today's Dreams Are Tomorrow's Reality
@lovemehateme: I just approved both of your characters (: Love them both!
@Midnight's Work: Of course, a musician is fine. I'll just reply to you here instead via the PM, if that's okay.
@skyash: Hah, thanks. No, it isn't xD I'm nowhere near being that pretty.
@Felicity: APPROVED ! Take your time editing the history if you'd like, I still haven't finished mine yet xD
@Everyone: I'll get to finishing up my history today (:
