Full Name: Madison Dakota Decker
Age: 21
Appearance: She usually wears fitting outfits that are simple in design to maximize flight efficiency. She almost always wears a pair of goggles on her head or around her neck to protect her eyes in flight. She tries to keep her hair tied back, but generally her light-colored hair ends up falling out of buns or ponytails and blows around her face. Her eyes are a dark brown with a reddish tinge.
Personality: She scraped together a life when all hell broke loose, even managing to save a few other kids along the way, with powers or not. She's tough and able, but her weakness has always been caring too much for those under her watchful eye. She doesn't back down from a challenge, which make her a little reckless. However, her determination and sheer force of will keep her from giving up, even in the face of death.
Power: While Madison is known generally to have the power of flight, she keeps the true extent of her powers locked away. Taking extreme caution and never using more than flight, no one knows that she truly developed the power of gravity manipulation. Madison's fear of being deemed dangerous or too powerful have prevented even her from knowing much about her abilities. She can alter the gravitational forces around her body in order to fly. However, she has to be very careful not to remain weightless for too long or her body begins to decay. During a long stint flying, she lost muscle mass, had some skeletal degeneration, and ended up getting very sick almost immediately afterwards. Also, while most others' nightmares disappeared, hers only seemed to get worse and worse, leaving her with insomnia most of the time. However, this has made her fairly capable at functioning without much sleep.
History: Madison wasn't the only one in her family to get sick. Her brother, younger by two years, also came down with the illness almost immediately after her. While they were in the hospital, their parents' lives began to violently shut down. When her brother died, her parents were divorced and her mother moved far away. By the time Madison was miraculously healed with everyone, her father had fallen deep into a depression, barely holding himself together. Madison managed to keep the two of them afloat, but when tell her mother's death reached them, she couldn't stop her father from committing suicide.
Left alone in the world spiraling into chaos, Madison took charge and went out to prevent as much tragedy as she could on her own. She quickly came to terms with losing people, but she still keeps hold on those she hopes can make it through. One such person being Gabriel, who has also helped her with finding employment.
