Every year, humanity's children go missing, never to be seen by their loved ones again. Oh, they can get out. Being trapped with or as a vampire is not truly a prison. Almost all of them are given some kind of luxury. But returning to the light - to your families and all that made you happy in your past life - is a dream that not many see through to the end. So you learn to deal with your life as a fledgling vampire, blood pet, or even blood slave.

- They do not burst into flames in sunlight. Rather, they cannot withstand it for too long, especially if they are fledgling vampires. Direct contact with sunlight causes a slight irritation that can persist and morph into an agonizing, burning sensation. In a sense, it weakens them. Higher-up vampires own daylight rings, which allows them to walk in sunlight, but not many have actual need for them unless they are on patrol in their territory.
- While they can ingest animal blood, why choose the alternative when you can have the real thing? Plus, human blood is more filling and can heal them. While they can sustain on bagged blood, drinking blood straight from the vein is always more pleasurable. Drinking on one another is normally considered a taboo and most don't do it unless the partner is their master or someone they have a true connection with.
- Contrary to popular belief, vampires do have feelings and are known to be quite possessive and territorial over their blood slaves or pets. It is not very common for them to share, especially a coven leader.
- Not all of them have icy-cold, extremely pale skin. In fact, some are still tanned from their human years. However, they do pale (as do all corpses) and are often cooler than the normal human body. Drinking human blood warms them up.
- They have accelerated healing and although immortal, they can be killed by beheading. While churches in general do not weaken them nor do crosses, holy water is scalding to their skin.
- They can heal humans with their blood. However, if the human dies with vampire blood in their system, there is a 50/50 chance that they will either become a human or simply die.
- Vampires cannot procreate.

- These humans live with and are provided for by their vampire masters. Some come willingly and others were taken because a vampire wanted them.
- They are not trapped here. Rather, they are allowed to go into the city (with supervision at a distance) to live their lives, but they are not allowed to leave unless (this is very rare) their master chooses to release them into the human world. Running away or attempting to run away is punishable in any way one's master sees fit.
- Blood Pets are known as humans who willingly come and serve under the vampire. This can be out of gratefulness or even love depending upon the situation. For some, being in this relationship is addictive. When a vampire bites a human, their fangs extract a venom that can make the bite a very pleasurable experience, especially during the height of pleasure. And these people typically like to stay on their master's good sides simply because a vampire can choose not to release that venom and getting bitten is not a lovely experience without.
- Blood slaves have typically been taken are or are here without consent. Again, the background for these characters ranges, but generally this is more about survival if they choose to not be defiant. Some aren't necessarily against it; at the same time, they are not exactly for it and it shows. Whether they fear or hate their masters is up to them, but they generally do not always have the best relationships with their masters, even if feelings are growing or an attraction is brewing.

- Reservations occur in the OOC. You must include the roles that you are going to try for in the reservation. There is no password. More than one person can apply for a character; it’s a matter of detail and creativity that I will be looking for in the character sheets. I am giving you until the 72 hour mark to be 80% complete with your CS. When I say that, I mean that most of the character sheet is finished and you are putting finishing details such as the last few paragraphs of the personality or history. On the matter of face claims, I would prefer to keep mine. However, I might be willing to change some. But try not to use face claims that really are overused and you cannot reserve two females unless you reserve a male.
- Again, this is going to be labeled under adult. So, adult themes may occur, so just be mature about it and be respectful to one another. Ask each other if particular scenes are appropriate and assure that we are in a comfortable environment.
