He… looks just like his picture. He usually wears more casual clothing – a loose button-down shirt and jeans with a chain on the belt loop. He also likes fingerless gloves and scarves.
Personality
Youngjae is a very sweet and shy young man – he has always preferred not to be the center of attention, keeping to himself for most of his life. He likes to curl up with a good book and usually just ignore the world around him, but that is not really possible for an idol. More than behind alone he has always loved to dance and sing and make people smile, so the natural choice for him was to try to become an idol in Korea, or maybe the entire world. He is gentle and sweet and very smart, and he always seems to want to help other people. Since he was a very small boy he has been taken advantage of because he can’t help but do what people ask him to. Underneath this meek, adorable, and somehow awkward appearance, however, Youngjae also has an unquenchable thirst for adventure. He absolutely love to travel – he would do anything just to get out and see the world, and it is no secret. His favorite thing to do with Rumor is to go on tour outside of the country. He also likes variety shows – a little too much. He really just likes to play with his friends, and variety shows offer him a chance to do that. He is a very young man who would never consider betraying another’s trust – he would probably keep someone’s secret even at the cost of his life. He has a bad habit of walking up to complete strangers and offering help to them. It has pretty much been agreed that one day he will get himself mugged and kidnapped because he is just too nice.

History
Youngjae grew up in a normal household with his father, Hyung Jae, his mother, Soomin, and his little sister, Ae Soo. He was just a normal kid with friends, school, his Samoyed puppy Sunny, and dreams that he never thought he would really achieve. He loved to sing and he loved to dance and act and make people smile. He wanted to be a part of an idol group, but with his naturally pudgy cheeks and shy demeanor he doubted he would ever get there. Turns out he was wrong – he was apparently exactly what he wanted. Becoming a part of Rumor was, literally, a dream come true for Youngjae, and though it took a while for him to loosen up and warm to his fellow members, he became deeply attached to them. Compared to his friends, the actual success of Rumor does not matter to him. He wouldn’t even care, really, if they ended up splitting up - so long as they remained friends and could see each other often. Nevertheless, his loyalty to Rumor is unshakable, and he will see it through to the top.
