"Honesty? It's my best virtue. So, why am I thinking that I am a lie...?"
For the first time, Eon was having a hard time to be completely relax. Usually, he would be at once and would take a nap on the hay. As if, there was nothing bothering him at all. This place was his sanctuary and in here, all that mattered was his peace of mind. However, he was now walking quite restlessly inside the stables. His hands were inside his pant pockets. His eyes were narrowed in deep thought and irritation. Lips were curled in dissatisfaction. His presence if it could be seen by any eye would be presented with a dark cloud with thunderstorms. The horses which were minding their business were now watching the male prefect from walking back and forth. Their eyes were sparkling with amusement.
However, the prefect was not finding his current situation entertaining at the very least. He would have found it acceptable if his worries were all about his job or something along those lines. Yet, it was not about that. His mind was filled with irritating thoughts of the fag and walrus being cutesy and all. It was downright annoying in every sense and every definition. Why was he so affected by such a connotation or declaration. He should not care about whatever those two decide. They got nothing to do with him. That's right, he should not care at all. In addition, it is what he had declared to them both. So, what was going on with him. This was just damn confusing.
Stopping finally from his pacing, he took out his hands from his pockets and angrily scratched his head. Nothing was making sense to him and he truly hated it. Taking a deep breath, he looked up and wondered what was the root cause of this all. Closing his eyes, he allowed himself a moment of reprieve from the tumultuous thoughts and uncertain feelings. He was truly lost at this very moment. Everything was not as it seems and furthermore, he was not also certain about his feelings anymore. Then, there was a ghost of a voice that echoed deep inside of him.
"She is mine..."
His eyes opened in surprise. Instinctively, he lost his balance. Fortunately, there was a wooden pillar behind him as he leaned on for support. That voice was so familiar to him. It was the one who would call to him in his dreams and had become quite incessant recently. Actually, it would also be in such cases when he was wide awake. He wondered if it was someone who was connected to his forgotten past. Although, he was not also completely solid on that idea. The reason? It was because, he felt that whoever was calling for him was somewhat connected to him in a deeper level. As if, he was calling to himself. Of course, this was impossible in many ways. But, he could not help but think that way. It was due to the emotions rushing inside of him. Gripping his mind and heart so easily, it was like losing himself in feelings completely foreign yet not really.
Placing a hand on his face, Eon would not admit openly. But, he was afraid. He was scared of what was happening to him internally. It was then, he heard a bell ringing. Removing the hand on his face, he looked to the entrance of the stables. There was no person there. Instead, he saw a creature resembling that of a cat looking at him with such eyes. It was like everything about him could be revealed in those depths easily. Moreover, he could feel that link. So, this was a familiar. βWhat do you want.β He was not in the mood for games and that was well-delivered in his statement and tone which was deadpan serious.
