| Name: Unarelle Ladri Garmold | Age: 18 | Gender: Female | Sexuality: Bisexual | Height: 4'6" | Weight: 105lbs |
| Race/Species: Dwarf | Hair Colour: Dark brown | Eye Colour: Brown | Skin Colour: Tanned | Trade: Healer |

Image

Appearance:
Standing at approximately four feet and six inches in height, Unarelle weighs only about 105 pounds. She has lightly-tanned skin and her build is slender. She has long, straight dark hair that comes down just past her shoulders. Unarelle has slightly almond-shaped brown eyes, straight eyebrows, and a petite nose. She, like the rest of her family, sports full lips. Unarelle typically dresses in a way that is somewhat modest, usually opting for dresses with sleeves that come at least to knee length, though she does have a preference for them to be cute. The twins always wear a pair of matching golden rings with green stones in them that their older sister Barynn made for them.

Image

Personality:
Unarelle is incredibly shy and uncomfortable around people. It isn't that she dislikes people the way her sister does, she simply isn't fully comfortable conversing with them and has a tendency to clam up. As such, she tends to be completely dependent on her twin sister, Yoranda, for socialization. Unarelle is intelligent and highly skilled with healing herbs, brews, and the healing arts in general. She tends to be clever and wise, and when she does warm up to someone, she is incredibly loving and loyal. Unarelle is quite level-headed while her sister tends to have her head in the clouds, and often finds herself pulling Yoranda out of sketchy situations.

History/Bio
Unarelle and her twin sister, Yoranda, are tied for the position as the second-youngest of the eight Garmold children. They exhibited opposite personalities even from infancy, with Unarelle being a quiet baby who was easy to care for and Yoranda being a loud, demanding baby that drained all the energy of their parents. When they were four years old, Yoranda fell ill and Unarelle spent all her time with her sick sister. The healers never could quite figure out what was wrong with her and could do little more for her than treat her symptoms. Eventually, Yoranda got better of her own accord. Unarelle, meanwhile, having watched the healers tend to her, began to fall in love with the art of healing. She decided that she wanted to be a healer, and her family was overjoyed that she'd chosen such a good and selfless path.

Unarelle trained under the same healers who had tended to her sister, and she began to learn their art. She displayed a natural adeptness for it, impressing even the strictest and harshest of her mentors. When they were eight and Yoranda's sickness came back, it was mostly Unarelle who tended to her, under the guidance of her mentor healers. She tried her hardest to figure out what was wrong with her sister, but the healers had been right the first time: it was a mystery. As with the first time, Yoranda eventually got better again and they got back to their lives.

At eighteen years old, the healers believe that Unarelle is on track to become one of the greatest healers in Bhagh-Nernwahrum. Yoranda has had a few more sickness scares over the years, and every time, Unarelle was right there at her side. Recent events, however, are causing immense change in the lives of the twins. With two of their older siblings - Barynn and Istrain - having both left Bhagh-Nernwahrum to pursue lives on the surface, other families are beginning to look upon the Garmold family name as somewhat shameful. In an attempt to patch things up with the rest of their colony and preserve their good name, their parents have agreed to an arranged marriage for Unarelle to a young man from a family of high rank. He's had feelings for her for years, but she never reciprocated because she always thought he was an ass. Now, she has little choice. Hoping to save her sister, Yoranda even volunteered to take Unarelle's place and marry him, but he was insistent that it was Unarelle he wanted.

Frightened and devastated, Unarelle does not wish to marry this man. Yoranda has had to make a hard decision now and she has decided to take her twin and leave Bhagh-Nernwahrum in order to escape the arrange marriage. Their plan is to take all their savings and venture to Veritas Isle, where they know their older sister Barynn lives and they know she will take care of them until they figure out what to do with their own lives.

So begins...

At Garmold Glitters Fine Jewelry, Istrain Garmold was pacing back and forth in the shop's front room while his little sister, Barynn Garmold, sat on the futon with her knees pulled up to her chest and tears in her eyes. "This can't be happening," she said softly, still in denial about the whole thing. Istrain had stayed with her that night, knowing that she probably wasn't okay to be on her own right now. "I can't...I can't have a baby. I can't be a mother. You know that..."

"Yes, I know that," Istrain replied, still pacing, his shoes clunking heavily against the floor of the shop. Barynn had never been the most responsible one, despite all her other redeeming qualities - and having buckets of talent, passion, and love were not enough to raise a child. She'd probably drop it if it moved while she was holding it, though he'd never say that to her. Longrus was curled up beside Barynn, his tail wrapped around her on the bed slightly as if trying to comfort her in his own little dragon way. "Barynn, you don't have to have this baby."

Barynn lifted her hazel eyes to look at her brother, blinking back tears. She hadn't even considered the possibility of not having the baby. She'd often heard people debate the matter of whether it was okay to give up babies before they were born, and she'd always felt that it should be the choice of the mother. Now, she was sitting here faced with the choice, and she couldn't bear the thought of doing something like that. She'd seen babies, she'd held them before, and while she didn't want one for herself, she also couldn't kill this one. In her eyes, underdeveloped as it may be, it was still a baby. "I want to have the baby, I just don't want to...have the baby..." she said.

Istrain nodded slightly. "I understand that," he said. "Hm...well, here's an option...you could put the baby up for adoption when it's born," he suggested. His pacing had slowed to a stop and he went to sit beside his sister, wrapping a gentle arm around her shoulders. "That way it's still being born, but it'll go to a family that will be able to take good care of it - maybe even a family that isn't able to have babies of their own. There are plenty of people who-"

Istrain's words were cut off by the sound of a light, rapid knock against the front door. Istrain raised an eyebrow slightly. They weren't supposed to open for another couple of hours, and that was only if he was able to get Barynn calmed down enough by then to actually run the place. He stood up, but Barynn grabbed his arm gently. "No, let me get it," she said softly. "My legs feel like jelly." She stood up, walking slowly to the door and opening it to tell whoever it was that they weren't open yet. Instead of an impatient patron, though, she was met with the sight of two tiny brown-haired dwarves smiling up at her. The girls were almost identical but for a few subtle differences that could only be noticed by someone who knew them well - and thankfully for Barynn, she did know them well, because these two were the youngest of the Garmold sisters.

"Yoranda? Unarelle?" Barynn asked, her eyes widening. The moment Istrain heard her words, he leapt to his feet and dashed over. A grin came to his lips when he saw them and he gently pushed past Barynn, scooping up both Unarelle and Yoranda in his arms with ease and spinning around with them, causing them to laugh.

"Istrain! Put us down!" exclaimed Yoranda, and he did as asked, grinning.

"I can't believe you two are here!" he said, and then his grin rapidly faded. "Wait, why are you here?"

"We ran away from home," Yoranda replied, putting an arm around her twin's shoulders. "Is it okay if we come in?"

The twins walked in with their older siblings, both immediately rushing to fawn over Longrus, who had been roused by the knocking. He seemed perfectly content to let the twins pet him, and Barynn went to sit back down where she'd been before.

"Why did you run away?" Istrain asked, and the twins exchanged a look.

"Well...mother and father aren't very happy with the two of you," Yoranda replied. "Having not one, but two children leave home for the surface world? People are kind of frowning on our family. To get back in everyone's good graces, they arranged for Unarelle to marry the youngest {NAME} boy, but obviously Una wasn't having that," she continued, and beside her, her twin quietly shook her head.

"Oh, shit," said Istrain, his eyes widening. "Una...I'm so sorry. I never realized that leaving would affect you that way."

"It's okay," Unarelle replied in a soft voice. "We didn't either."

"So that's why we're here!" Yoranda replied, her voice cheerful as ever. "We figured Barynn would be able to take care of us, or the both of you, if you were here. We weren't sure. We're glad we found both of you!"

"Well, now's really not a good time for Barynn to be taking care of anyone," Istrain said. He glanced briefly towards his sister, who gave him a nod before he turned back to the twins. "Barynn just found out last night that she's pregnant."

Yoranda's eyes went wide, and Unarelle actually laughed out loud. "No she's not," Unarelle said softly. "You have to have sex to get pregnant."

"I did," Barynn replied, and both twins gasped.

"No way!" Yoranda said. "With who? What was he like? Are you in love with him? Is he handsome?"

Barynn sighed softly. She could already feel more tears welling up slightly. "We were together for a bit but he broke up with me...we only slept together once but I guess that was enough."

"Once is definitely enough," Unarelle said, moving closer to her older sister and putting a hand on hers. "Are you okay? How do you feel? Have you been sick?"

"Very," Barynn replied. "We saw a healer on the island yesterday and she gave me something for it-"

"I can probably do something better," Unarelle murmured.

"-and I haven't felt sick since taking it."

"Oh."

Istrain chuckled a bit. "Now we're just trying to figure out what she should do with it. Obviously she can't be a mother, because she's Barynn, but she doesn't want to abort the baby."

"I wouldn't, either," said Yoranda. "Did you talk to the dad yet?"

"I don't talk to the dad," Barynn muttered.

"You should," Yoranda replied.

"I don't want to face him," Barynn replied. "I mean...I could send Istrain...but I doubt there'd be anything to keep them from getting in a fight considering they've almost fought before."

"Hey, we weren't going to fight at the tavern," Istrain protested. "Haera and Bir were there. They would never have let that happen."

"What if I spoke to him?" Yoranda asked suddenly, and all three of her siblings turned their gazes to her.

"What?" asked Barynn.

"Well, think about it. I'm obviously not going to get in a fight with him. He's never met me, so he has no reason to fight me or be rude to me. I could merely act...as a messenger, per se. Just to make sure he gets the information and nobody gets in a fight and then he has time to figure out what he wants to do with it."

Barynn looked towards Istrain, who gave a slight nod. "That sounds like it would work," he said.

"Okay! I'll do it," Yoranda said, jumping to her feet. "Just tell me where to go."

Barynn grabbed a scrap of paper, using it to give Yoranda directions. Luckily for Barynn, she was good enough at directions that Yoranda felt confident that she knew where she was going. "If you get lost, just find anyone and ask them for help. Tell them you're trying to get to Luther's house and they should point you in the right direction," Barynn said softly.

"Got it," Yoranda replied, taking the piece of paper. "I'll be back in a bit!" she chimed before heading out of the shop. She began following the instructions closely, and she found that she was easily able to locate each of the landmarks her sister used for reference. Soon, sure enough, she was standing before a large, elegant home just outside of the city. She eyed it up for a moment, shaking her head. "Poor Barynn to get dumped by this she murmured before heading to the door, lifting up a hand and knocking before stepping back to see whether anyone would answer.

Yoranda smiled a bit when Luther commented that he knew Barynn was in her shop. It seemed that they knew one another very well, and she wondered about the specifics of their relationship. How long had they been together? It couldn't have been very long. She let him carry her to the shop, and she could see the confusion in the faces of her siblings when they arrived. Barynn's mouth fell open slightly, and she had to shoot a glare at Istrain. Unarelle simply sat there, petrified for a moment. When Luther addressed Barynn, she looked towards her siblings, and then she looked at Yoranda's foot. "Um...in the back room?" she suggested, standing up from the futon. It didn't make sense to move Yoranda around again when she and Luther could just step into the back room to talk.

Barynn raised an eyebrow slightly when he said that he'd thought about giving it another shot. As if she'd ever want to be with him again after how it had ended last time. Pffft. Would she? She liked to think that she'd turn him down if he asked her to try again, but she couldn't be sure. She waited in the back room until she knew that Luther was gone, and then she emerged. Yoranda was smiling up at her. Unarelle had her head laid on her twin's shoulder, and Istrain was leaning against the wall with his arms folded. "Well?" he asked when she came out.

"Well...not much to say," Barynn said with a shrug. "He's going to take the baby when it's born. So that's settled and out of the way now."

"Istrain was just telling us that we need jobs if we're going to stay," Yoranda chimed, and Barynn raised an eyebrow slightly.

"Well, of course you do," she replied. "I definitely can't afford to keep you both. Your brother can probably afford to put you up in a hotel room, but you'll have to get jobs and start paying for things yourselves as soon as you're able."

"There's a great tavern not too far from here," said Istrain. "I'm sure Birger would be open to the idea of having a performer. And Una, you could probably go meet with the doctor, Lor, and see if she needs an assistant or something."

"I'm more than an assistant," Unarelle scoffed, shaking her head slightly, but Istrain frowned.

"You're in no position to start up your own practice on the island," he said to her. "Besides, you'll probably like Lor. She couldn't have been much older than you. Maybe you'll find a friend."

"You say that like you forget you're talking to Unarelle," Yoranda said. She carefully stood up, tentatively putting pressure on her foot. "Ouch."

"What exactly did you do there, anyways?" Barynn asked, nodding towards her sister's foot.

"Um, well, after I told him that you were pregnant, Luther thanked me and went to close the door. But I wasn't finished, so I stuck my foot in the door to stop him, but apparently he wasn't expecting that and he closed it really hard. Then he took me inside and wrapped it up for me. He's actually really nice, I can see why you liked him - and he has a twin brother, I saw him there and he had a baby, and-"

"You met his brother?" Barynn asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Kind of," Yoranda replied. "In passing, mostly."

"I never should have sent you alone," Barynn muttered with a shake of her head. "But at least Luther was nice enough to wrap it up for you...he's really a good man, he just...I don't know. It didn't work between us. I wish it had..." Tears were starting to prick her eyes again and Unarelle got up to give their older sister a hug.

"I should go look into that tavern job," Yoranda said softly. She took a few practice steps, figuring out exactly how to step so that she avoided shooting pain going all through her foot, though she definitely had a bit of a pronounced limp. "I'll be back, though. You guys take care of Una for me."

"We will," agreed Istrain with a nod.

Yoranda quietly left the shop, limping her way through the streets in the direction Istrain had told her to go. She found the tavern with relative ease, smiling a bit when she saw the name. It definitely sounded like good fun. She made her way to the door, heading inside. She noticed a few heads turn as she came in, which didn't surprise her since everyone was so tall. She probably looked like a damn child to them. She saw a man behind the counter, so she made her way over there with a smile on her face. "Hello!" she said cheerfully. "I'm looking for Birger, are you he? Or could you point me in his direction?"

Haera busted into the shop, "Did you seriously send you INJURED little sister into a TAVERN. The poor girl is LIMPING, Istrain... I know I taught you better." She said before looking down at the other small look alike girl. "That's cute." She said before looking at Barynn and have a small smile and wave. "Can I beat him up a little bit?" She asked with a small giggle.

Istrain jumped slightly when Haera burst in, not having expected her. He raised an eyebrow when she scolded him for letting Yoranda head off to the tavern by herself. "Hey, now, I didn't tell her she had to go there right this minute," he protested, holding up his hands. "She's a go-getter. What can I say?" Barynn smiled a bit when Haera asked to beat up Istrain a bit. "Not in my shop you can't," she replied, putting a gentle arm around Unarelle, who was clearly feeling a little uncomfortable. "It's probably not good for the baby, and Luther's going to be taking the baby, so I can't give him a damaged baby. I mean, maybe I can. But that's probably frowned upon."

Haera huffed at him and then looked at Barynn. "Letting the baby get damage in the first place is sad." She said and shook her head before looking back at Istrain. "She said I can't kick your butt in HERE, but you gotta come out this shop sometime, kid." She said and smirked before looking back at Barynn. "At least he wants it... you could have gotten knocked up by a piece of shit who knocks girls up and leaves. So... I guess that is a good thing?" She poked Istrain's forehead the whole time she talked to Barynn.

Istrain raised an eyebrow as Haera's finger collided with his forehead. He lifted a hand and caught her wrist when she finished. "I wouldn't knock a girl up and leave," he said, using a mock-offended voice. "You wound me, Haera. I'd own up to my mistakes." On the futon, Unarelle leaned over to whisper something to Barynn, who almost immediately burst out laughing. "Oh my god, Una, no, she's not his girlfriend," she said to her sister through the laughter.

Haera looked at him surprised, "You? Own up? Can't be very high." She smirked before looking over at the two girls. "Oh gosh.... she wounds me so. I like men, hunny... well women too... that was a flaw excuse. Hmmm I like to look up and not down, unless it is a nice woman." She smiled and looked back at Istrain and then down at her wrist, since he was still holding on to it.

Istrain immediately dropped Haera's wrist when he noticed her looking at it, pulling his hand back and shooting his sisters a slight glare. "Absolutely not my girlfriend," he said to Unarelle with a shake of his head. He could only imagine what Birger and Yoranda were talking about, seeing as how Haera had obviously seen Yoranda before coming here. "And yes, Haera, obviously I'd take responsibility if I got a girl pregnant. I'm just more responsible than that," he said, glancing towards Barynn, who blinked her hazel eyes in surprise. "Hey, now," she protested. "I barely knew what was going on. I was just along for the ride."

Haera felt a slight sting when he dropped her wrist, but ignored the feeling before scuffing. "First off, don't ever do that to a woman, Istrain. Be nice. Two," She looked at Barynn. "Where did that leave you once you got off that ride? Hm? Three," She looked at the timid twin, "Don't be like any of these two and you will be all set." She smiled.

Istrain couldn't help but to chuckle when Haera addressed Unarelle. "She's not gonna talk to you," he said to Haera. "And trust me, she's nothing like me. Normally I'd say she was more like Barynn, but, well..." Barynn frowned, sticking her tongue out at her brother. "You need to stop this passive-aggressiveness towards me in my own shop before I kick you out," she said, though there was a teasing tone in her voice. "If I kick you out then you no longer have my protection and Haera's gonna fight you." Beside her, Unarelle couldn't help but to giggle a bit, presumably at the prospect of Istrain getting beaten up by a girl.

Haera smiled, "She GIGGLED and that is like talking. HA, Istrain. I think your sister is going to get the job. They are in need of entertainment and if she can sing... bet your ass she got the job. So... yay. Ohh she should stay with me... she over eighteen?" She asked and winked at him. "Just kidding... kind of... she is cute, very lively." Haera looked at the door and just watched as a man stood there, watching Barynn. "Uhh..." She said and watched him walk in. "You are very pretty... oh... and so is she... anyway I am doing a photo shoot if you girls are interested." He said and laid a flyer down before walking out. Haera got a shiver down her back before glaring. "I am going to go follow him, he is up to something... bitch didn't even look at him. Rude." She huffed before walking out.

Istrain was about to scold Haera for even hinting at anything to do with his sisters when the man came to the door, staring in at the girls. He raised an eyebrow as the man walked in, complimenting Barynn and Unarelle before giving them a flyer and leaving. Barynn blinked in surprise, a bit concerned, and Unarelle's cheeks were going fifty shades of red. When Haera said that she was going to follow him, Istrain nodded slightly and then looked at his sisters. "Stay here. Longrus has got your backs, I'm going to go with Haera," he said before leaving, closing the door behind him and catching up to Haera quickly. He was quick to get defensive when it came to the small army of little sisters that his parents had raised him.

Haera nodded, "of course." And with that she was off. She made it to the shop and smiled. "So your brother and I kicked was, but he got the wind knocked out of him a bit, my sister said he should be a bit better tomorrow. He needs his rest though. I have to report to Uncle Q about everything, I would have gotten here earlier but your brother likes to milk his wounds." She smiled. "I'll see you later girls." She said and walked out.

Morning eventually came. Since Istrain was...somewhere...and Haera's words had seemed to indicate to the sisters not to disturb him, the twins had decided to stay with Barynn that night at the shop. Barynn had been the first to wake up, retreating into the back room to get her mind off things and do some work. Next had been Yoranda, who'd ducked into the back to ask Barynn whether she and Unarelle could take Longrus for a walk since he was just so cute. Barynn had agreed, so Yoranda woke her twin and the two leashed up the dragon and headed out. Neither was quite sure where to take him, though, so they just let him lead them through the streets at random.

Meanwhile, in his hotel room, Istrain was still sound asleep. His injuries had taken a lot out of him and he'd basically been sound asleep since Haera had left. Once he was awake, though, he knew that he had a sizeable sum of money to drop off at the tavern. All night he'd been unable to think - or dream - of much besides Haera and that kiss, how sweet and tender and unexpected it had been, how good it had felt, how sweet she'd tasted...

Yoranda grinned when Haera said that they were going to see Istrain. If she'd known that they were going to see him she'd have grabbed something for him while they were out, but this was fine. He wasn't feeling so well from what Haera had said, so he probably wouldn't mind. "Okay!" she chimed, laughing a bit when Haera moved in front of her and told her to hop on. She did, while Unarelle stood awkwardly and uncomfortably by the door. Barynn laughed a bit as she watched them.

Haera pretended to act like she was heavy. "Oh dear, my back." She smirked before smiling softly at Unaellee. "Let's go save the city you two." She said and walked with them to his room before opening it and sitting Yoranda down on the bed next to Istrain. "Look, boy. I got Yoranda to ride me." She joked before moving." She got out of the girl's way before sitting in the corner.

Unarelle stayed a few paces back while Yoranda cheerfully let Haera carry her to the hotel where their brother was staying. As Haera set Yoranda down on the bed, her first reaction was to laugh at Haera's joke. "Cute, but I don't swing that way," she said with a giggle before turning her gaze towards her brother. The moment she looked at him, though, her smile faded and she gasped. "Istrain, you look like shit," she said, leaning over him slightly. "Haera didn't tell us it was this bad."

Istrain chuckled a bit as his sisters came into the room with Haera. "See, Haera? My sisters practically know they're off-limits," he said with a smile. "And thanks, Yora, I totally didn't already know I look like shit...I asked Haera to downplay it since I didn't want to stress Barynn out any more...she's already stressed enough with the baby and all that."

Haera laughed so hard, "I told you, Istrain, once I turned that fire on and got light on you... tis tis." She said before listening to the two. "You think if I stranded the girls here they will rub lotion on you in an hour and a half? Yora can't walk... well really SHOULDN'T walk with that bruised foot of her's. It is like your family common's sense doesn't exist... except for maybe Una's because she is so damn shy." She said with a smile, it was crazy how this family worked. "Mmm I feel like I am not doing the community justice if I am not bugging Bir right now." She said and stood up. "Una, can you apply this.." She dug in her bag and put the jar of lotion from her sister on the night stand. "In an hour and a half. It is made with dragon scales... shit is like... a miracle lotion. Reapply it two hours after that. I might be back to relieve you two of your brothers... sourly looks... I mean the sourlier looks that is." She said and headed for the door.

Unarelle was quiet as Haera told her to apply the lotion, but she gave the smallest of nods when Haera said to reapply it in two hours. Yoranda, meanwhile, just grinned over at Haera. "Make sure to bug him a little extra for me since I won't be there until later to do it myself. I'll probably come in an hour or so early to eat something before I start, though," she chimed. Istrain smiled over at her, reaching to grab his sister's hand. "I'm really disappointed I'm not going to get to be there for your first performance," he said. "I doubt I can convince Haera to get me there."

Haera laughed, "I only let hot girl's ride me, little boy." She said after turning around and facing him. "If you wanna go THAT badly I will get my cousin to carry you again. I will go tell Bir so he can set up a kiddy corner for you. I might put like.. lollipops on your table since you like to suck so much." She winked and waved. "Una, lotion. Don't forget~ and I will know if you did." She smiled and walked out to the tavern where told Bir what was going on and helped him set up a spot for him to watch his sister and be comfortable.

After Haera left, Istrain and the girls chatted a bit. Istrain told his sisters all about the fight that he and Haera had been in the previous day - playing it up, of course, to make himself sound even better. He'd mostly held his own, but then one of the bad guys had gotten in a lucky shot. It was nobody's fault. Yoranda, meanwhile, told him all about how her interview with Birger had gone. Istrain was impressed, though commented that if he didn't know better, he'd have thought Birger to be flirting with her from the things she said he said. Yoranda commented that she'd felt the same way, but both agreed that they doubted it was that.

Unarelle put the lotion on him as she'd been instructed while Yoranda gently teased him about Haera, insisting that she saw the way he looked at her. He didn't brush it off as she'd expected him to, though - instead, he got rather quiet and sullen about it. It had taken some poking and prodding, but finally, he confessed to the twins that Haera had kissed him the night before - more than once - but that this morning when they'd talked about it, she'd said that it was a lapse in judgment and wouldn't happen again. Yoranda immediately whined that it wasn't fair and that Haera couldn't have meant that, but Istrain wasn't so convinced. Then, they went on to discuss the affairs of their home city, Yoranda and Unarelle telling him all about what had changed and happened since his last visit.

Haera went to find her cousin and headed back to the inn and was about to kick open the door when she realized that Unarelle was in there and she didn't want to scare her, so she went in like a normal person. "Aye aye, don't cry I am back. Bir and I got your kiddy corner set up and my cousin is here." She said. Codon waved at them. "So are we ready?" she asked.

Yoranda grinned when she saw Haera come in, and she waved at Haera's cousin when he waved. "Definitely ready, I'm starving," she replied. She'd stepped out briefly to grab some lunch for the three of them - with Istrain's money, of course - but was all set for a nice dinner before work. She'd even gone through Istrain's things and had found an old basket that he'd agreed to let her use for tips, as recommended by Birger. "Unarelle's going to head back to Barynn's shop, though. The tavern scene is definitely not for her," Yoranda added quickly, giggling a bit as she looked at her sister, who looked even more sheepish in the corner now that Haera's unfamiliar cousin was present.

Istrain smiled when he saw Haera. He reached out and took her hand as he approached, torn between being glad and concerned that she'd recognized his distress - glad because it meant he didn't have to act like everything was fine when it wasn't, and concerned because he'd been confident that he wasn't showing it, so she'd somehow picked up on it herself. It was strange. "Everything's fine," he said, shaking his head a bit. "Just Barynn...she's still really torn up about the whole Luther thing and seeing me with you upset her a bit. She feels like she's not going to get a happily ever after," he said softly.

Yoranda and Unarelle were relaxing in the front of the shop, Yoranda sitting behind the counter and Unarelle sitting on the futon, when an unfamiliar man with blue hair came in. They exchanged a curious look before Yoranda stood up, moving from behind the counter. "She's our sister. What did you need? I'm sure I can help," Yoranda replied with a bright smile. "She's got lots of great pieces here, or if you're looking for something custom I can take the order down for her." Barynn had told them when they arrived that she'd rather not be disturbed, so Yoranda figured she could help the man. She was nowhere near the salesperson her brother was, but it was like Barynn always said - the jewelry spoke for itself.
