Setting
Amiras's home is on the outskirts of the city away from most of the business of the inner city. Treelines separate her home from her neighbors, giving her home a good bit of privacy. It has two spacious bedrooms and two baths both located on the second floor of the house. Downstairs along with the living room and kitchen there is a study and a door to a porch on the side of the house next to a sun room near the back. It has a decent sized backyard.

Amira laughed a little bit. "The poor man slept for like four days when we got home. His grandmother wouldnt let him leave his room if he wasnt wearing a shirt, and of course, he didnt really want to wear a shirt because his sun burn was horrible, so he just hid in there for a while. Well, even more than usual anyways." She said and shook her head. "We dont even have sun block in the tribe, you just had to be smart enough to either stay out of the sun, or cover up enough to avoid getting burned." She said and then nodded. "That sounds really nice. A morning at the beach, some shopping, lunch and then a romantic ride around to see some lovely sights and dinner on the boat. Sounds like a very nice day." She said with a grin.
Weston laughed as Amira talked about Lance's sunburn and he shook his head. "Believe me, I wanted to spend the next few days cooped up shirtless in my room, too. My parents gave me the first day and let me stay in my room, and they had a servant whose job was to rub cream on the burn for me from time to time. They expected me up and about on the second day but Sophia came to check on me and then yelled at them and they ended up letting me stay in hiding for the second day, too," he said with a smile. "The third day, though, I was up and fully dressed and back to normal, as painful as it was." He nodded when she outlined their plan for the day. "That sounds lovely," he said. "Why'd we even bother getting dressed if we're just heading to the beach?"
Amira shook her head. "Ahh, well Lance was a grown man at this point already, so if he wanted to mope around in his room his grandmother really couldnt do a whole bunch about it as long as he got what he needed to do done. Which he did. I guess she realized at some point that its just best to let him do things the way he wants to and thats easier. She can still push Aiden around though, obviously." She said and then shrugged a little bit. "I dont know why we did....Well I had to so that I could go down to the lobby....But I dont know why you did."
Weston chuckled slightly and shook his head. "Not me. I was just a boy and my parents pretty much had all the control. I was grateful for Sophia stepping in and making sure I got that second day to let it heal, though," he said. He smirked a bit when she said that she had to get dressed to go to the lobby. "I don't know, princess, I've seen lots of people romping around in only their swimsuits. I'm pretty sure you can wear them anywhere except the dining hall, where you have to be dressed," he said with a shrug. "Luckily this shirt works as a swim shirt, too," he said, pulling some swimming trunks from his bag and quickly changing into them; they even matched the shirt he was wearing well enough to look planned.
Amira shook her head a little bit at him. "Well thank go for older sisters then I guess?" She said and then sighed. "Maybe I dont want to run around the resort in nothing but my bikini. Id be beyond uncomfortable if I had awkwardly run into Danielle and Rebecca and their mother. Id rather not meet ypur siblings half naked." She said and gave him a sassy look before going ahead and changing into her swimsuit, figuring she could just throw on a robe if she needed to leave the room again before they left for the beach.
Weston chuckled a little and shook his head. "Well, then, that's why you should have brought a cover-up," he teased with a smile. "Trust me, though, we're going to avoid running into Katherine. Can you imagine how traumatic that would be for her? To be on vacation and to run into her little brother who's been dead for fifteen years, except he's not dead at all, and he hasn't been dead this whole time... I'd rather not do that to her," he said, shaking his head. He smiled when he saw Amira in her swimsuit. "That looks good on you," he said.
Amira sighed. "I brought a dress I can wear over it. But I didnt plan on putting it on until we planned on leaving to go to the beach." She said and then laughed a little. "I can not, but I would assume that it would be incredibly shocking for her." She said and then smiled. "Thanks. Nixy helped me pick it out. Its not quite as daring as the last one was. I hope anyways." She said, looking down at her swimsuit.
Weston nodded when she said that she'd brought a dress with her. "Well, that's good, at least," he said with a smile. He nodded when she said how shocking it would be for Katherine to run into them, and he chuckled a bit at her comment about her swimsuit being less daring than the last one. "It definitely is," he agreed with a nod. "There wasn't much I could say last time but this time around I'd rather not have people eyeing up my girlfriend the way they were looking at you before," he said, laughing a bit. "Of course, people are probably still going to be staring, because you're just stunning no matter what you wear, but still..."
Amira shook her head a little bit. " I probably would have fussed at you if you had said something about it." She said and then giggled. " Well at least this time let's hope a gaggle of boys aren't going to be praying my tops not secure." She said and walked over to him and wound her arms around the back of his neck." You know....the flattery will probably get you every where." She teased and looked up at him. "I love you. Sooo much it hurts sometimes." She said softly.
Weston laughed and nodded when she said that she would have fussed at him. "Yeah, probably," he agreed. He slid his arms around her waist when she came over, smirking a bit at her words. "Luckily for you, I'm very good at flattery," he teased with a chuckle, leaning in and pressing his forehead to hers softly. "I love you too, princess. So much it hurts," he said. "Now...shall we be heading down to the beach?"
Amira huffed. " I can't fuss at you about it now though" she said and pretended to pout. " Oh lucky me huh? Id think you'd be the lucky one if flattery gets you places and it easy for you." She teased and then opened her mouth to say something when there was a knock on the door. " That would be breakfast." She said and answered the door and brought breakfast in. " We might want to eat before we head out huh?" She said softly.
Weston laughed a little when she said that she couldn't fuss at him for it. He smirked a little and shook his head. "Nope. Lucky for you because you get to sit and bask in all the lovely things I'm going to tell you," he teased gently. He blinked when the knock came, and he sighed when she said that it would be breakfast. "I forgot about breakfast," he said, shaking his head a bit as he watched her go get the food. He laughed a little when she said they should eat before they head out. "Fine, I guess we can eat if you insist," he teased.
Amira gasped. " How did you forget about breakfast? Are you feeling okay?" She asked. " Maybe sex isn't such a good idea if you're forgetting about breakfast the next morning..." She mumbled and then set their plates down at the little table and uncovered them before sitting in front of hers and happily munching away at the delicious breakfast that she had ordered for herself.
Weston chuckled and shook his head. "It had nothing to do with the sex so don't you even dare joke about that," he teased as he sat down. "We just... you know, we were talking about all the things we're gonna do today and I got so excited that I forgot we hadn't eaten yet," he said with a smile. He pulled his plate closer after she uncovered it and he started to eat, eating a bit quickly since he was excited to get down to the beach.
Amira puffed her cheeks out. " I'll joke about it if I want to. I can do that now that I've went and done it. The world can't stop me now Weston. Maybe I'll go and become a comedian who's entire show is just sex jokes. Who knows? My opportunities are endless!" She said, pretended to look serious about it. She went ahead and went back to munching on her food, enjoying her English muffin that she had that had some jam on it that was absolutely delicious. She swayed slightly as she ate happily.
Weston laughed as Amira spoke, shaking his head. He set his food down so he could briefly reach over and squish her cheeks; he loved it when she puffed them out like that. "You're too damn cute," he said with a smirk before going back to his food. He ate a bit more before looking back up at her. "Okay, princess. Tell me a sex joke. I've been thinking about it and I want to hear what you've got," he said with a smirk.
When Weston asked her to tell him a sex joke she blinked and then thought for a second. "Okay...Why does it take 1 million sperm to fertilize one egg?" She asked. "They won't stop to ask directions." She continued with such a smug look on her face. It hadn't taken her long to pull that one out of the archives in her brain at all and she was rather proud of herself for it.
Weston smirked a bit when Amira looked a bit surprised by his request, eating while he waited to see what she'd come up with. He stopped dead when she said her joke though, slowly setting down his fork and then just putting his head in his hands. He didn't say anything, just sat like that for a minute shaking his head before letting out a sigh and starting to eat again. "If there is a god, he made you way too powerful for your own good," he said as he looked up at her. "I'll give you that one. That was clever."
Amira couldn't stop laughing at Weston's reaction to her joke. " You asked for it! It's not my fault you can't handle the one you got." She said and tried to focus on finishing up her breakfast. She was excited about the beach as well so she figured she'd hurry along and finish getting ready for that. When she was done she went to her bag and slipped on a little sun dress so that she wasn't walking around in just a bikini and then she looked over at Weston as she packed their Beach bag. " I'm ready when you are." She said with a smile.
Weston chuckled a bit, shaking his head. "Some of us can ask for directions, you know. When we need to. If, you know, it's totally necessary," he said with a slight smirk. He knew that he was not one of those men. He generally liked to think that he had a decent sense of direction. He finished up his breakfast and while she went to get her sundress, he put the lids back on their plates and took them out into the hall to be picked up. He came back and smiled as he saw her in her dress. "Adorable," he said, reaching for her hand. "Let's get going."
Amira shook her head. " I dont think I've ever met a man who would. Well Lance might. But he's kind of backwards as can be...." She sighed and then took his hand and walked out with him. They were nearing the lobby when she was just about to turn a corner and saw Rebecca and Danielle and some other women. She quickly shoved Weston into a storage closet that was near then and then calmly pretended to look for something in her bag as she stood in front of it since the women were heading straight for her.
Weston chuckled a bit when she called Lance backwards and he nodded a little. He headed out with her, excited about their day at the beach, when he saw Rebecca up ahead. He barely had a chance to say or do anything before Amira was shoving him into a nearby storage closet. He stayed silent, knowing Amira would retrieve him once the coast was clear.
Rebecca and Danielle rounded the corner, Rebecca walking a ways ahead of her family because she wanted to be on the lookout for Weston and Amira. The last thing she wanted was for her mother to run into them - especially after Danielle had come back to the resort last night all kinds of excited to tell them about the nice couple she'd met out at the ruins who'd spent the day with her and Amy. Rebecca knew that Weston had to have known it was Danielle - she'd been six when he'd left home, so he obviously would have known her long ago - and Danielle's excitement to introduce her family to this nice couple had Rebecca paranoid. Accompanying Danielle and Rebecca were Katherine, their mother; Raina, the fifteen-year-old sister; and thirteen-year-old Rose.
"Amira!" chimed Danielle when she spotted her up ahead, a grin coming to her face as she all but dragged her mother and younger sister over to Amira. "I was hoping to run into you. I told my family all about the fun we had in the village yesterday and wanted to introduce you to them," she said. Katherine smiled warmly at Amira. "Hello," she said politely. Danielle paused, looking around slightly. "Where's Weston?" she asked.

Amira looked up when she heard her name and smiled warmly at Danielle. "Hello, it's nice to meet you." She said politely to Katherine and then looked back at Danielle. " Oh he's busy back at the room. Inspiration for righting struck and there's no stopping him when that happens." She said with a soft smile on her face. She hoped that would be enough to deter any further investigation about introducing Weston to Katherine.
Danielle couldn't help but to clap her hands when Amira told them that Weston was writing in their room. "Oh, that's lovely! Please don't forget to send us that new book of his, I'm dying to read it," she said with a grin. "Oh! And let me introduce you to my family - this is my mother, and my younger sisters Rebecca, Raina, and Rose," she added quickly. Katherine smiled when she was introduced, and each of the girls gave a quick curtsy in turn. "You know, I had a brother named Weston," commented Katherine with a slight shake of her head. Rebecca visibly tensed somewhat. She looked pointedly at Amira, staying behind her sisters somewhat so they wouldn't see her face, and then she looked at the closet as if to ask if Weston was in there. "Goodness, do I ever miss him. Danielle said you came from the floating islands?" Katherine asked curiously.
Amira shook her head." We won't forget, I'll make sure that it gets sent soon after were home." She said reassuringly. She smiled as she was introduced to the family, though she already knew Rebecca." It's very nice to meet all of you." She said and when Rebecca seemed to ask if Rebecca was in the closet she tilted her head towards it slightly to let her know that he was. She nodded at Katherine." I do. I own a chocolate shop on the islands, lived there for about four years now." She explained.
