Priscilla stared at him when he said that no one in their right mind would marry someone after such a short amount of time, frowning a bit when he said he was shutting that down right away. "I, er... okay," she stammered, not sure why he was so angry about it. Had Yoranda said something to him? She could only assume that was what happened. She carefully stood up and stepped out of the tub, grabbing a towel and wrapping it around herself before walking over to him. "James, I love you too," she said softly. "I'm sorry you're upset. Please don't be angry with me," she said softly, frowning.

James watched her get out and frowned, he didn't mean to scare her. He held her close and shook his head. "I am not angry, babe. I just don't want you thinking that I am not into you and you leave me. I had no idea that you even thought this... how you think I would feel if you left?" He asked.

Priscilla nestled herself against him as he pulled her close, shaking her head a bit. "It...would hurt you if I left," she said softly. "And it would hurt me if you left. That's why I want to be with you," she said softly. She lifted a hand and rested it gently on his cheek, her grey eyes gazing lovingly up at him. "Am I...allowed to ask why it's so unthinkable to propose within the first six months of courting, though? I...get that things here are very different...but it just seems so strange to me. My understanding, as my parents and grandparents and pretty much everyone has always put it, is that if you're together six months and you're not sure if you want to be together, then the relationship's likely going nowhere. If you're together six months and you know you want to be together, though...then just get married, because that's what you do when you want to be with someone forever."

James frowned, "Because I am still getting to know and trust you, babe. Like this... I didn't even know about this. What would have happened if I hadn't proposed? You would leave me? Or would you think the whole time till I didn't ask that I just wasn't really into you?" He said softly. "I want to know if the person I spend the rest of my life is really the one. Just doing it because at the time you are okay with the relationship isn't the smartest. It is a time-sensitive issue for most people." He said.

Priscilla gazed up at him as he explained that six months wasn't enough time to get to know and trust someone. She frowned a bit when he questioned what would have happened if he hadn't proposed to her. "I probably would have started to wonder, and then I would have just asked you about it. You know, like 'Hey James, you know I love you, right? And you know how much I want to be with you? Because we've been together for...wow, half a year already and I'm just wanting to make sure we're on the same page about where this is going.' And then we'd have a talk about where this is going and I'd try to hint at marriage without being too obvious, because you're not supposed to ask or tell the man you want him to propose to you," she said with a giggle. "If six months isn't enough time for you, though, that's fine. I love you. I want to be with you...so I can wait as long as it takes you. Just...don't make me wait too long," she said, furrowing her brow a bit and then giggling. "I'm not getting any younger. I was certain I'd be at least engaged by now, but then the guy I was courting died, so I had to start all over again. Luckily this time I found someone I like much, much more," she said softly.

James had taken Priscilla for the second time that morning when he heard the knock at the door. He kissed her head and slapped her ass a bit. "Go get cleaned up." He said before walking off and going gett he door. Osmond was standing there and smirked, "Aye boss." He said. James smirked back and let him in, "Hey, she is just getting ready." James said as Osmond looked around. "Okay... so what about the baby?" He asked. James shook his head, "Garnet has her and is gonna drop her off at the daycare and I will be picking her up. So you just have to worry about Priscilla." He said and Osmond nodded,

Priscilla nodded when James told her to go get cleaned up, a bit curious as to who the knock at the door was. She went and had a quick shower, throwing on a plain dress and then twisting her hair up into a simple bun so it would be out of the way for work - and so it would be out of the way after work, since she and Yoranda had plans to go shopping and she'd probably be trying on clothes. She came out a bit later, knowing she had to get to work, and blinked when she saw James talking with an extremely tall man. She smiled politely as she approached them. "Hello," she said to the man, gently holding on to James's arm when she reached them as she'd always seen her mother do when meeting her father's business associates for the first time.

Osmond looked over to see a girl, not a woman, a damn child. He sighed and looked at James, who just shook his head. "What is with you and being surrounded by extremely young women?" He asked before looking over at her and smiling. "Hello, I am Osmond, your babysitter." James rolled his eye. "I don't know... they are just attracted to me. I don't do much but stand and they flock." He said and Osmond shook his head. "Anyway, this is Priscilla. For the most part, she is good. She is a talker so you might enjoy her company. Don't sleep with her unless I tell ya to, got it?" He smirked and Osmond huffed. "I sleep with ONE person of yours and ya don't let it go." He chuckled. "Okay she looks dressed and means business... you said she was a what? Something with kicking people's asses?" Osmond smirked. James shook his head, "Get out of my house, Os." He said and smirked before kissing Priscilla, "I will see you later today, okay? Love you, baby girl." He said softly and Osmond shook his head. He hadn't seen that side of James before.

Priscilla raised an eyebrow when the man questioned James being with younger women, letting James introduce her after the man introduced himself as her babysitter. She looked a little startled when James said not to sleep with her unless he said to. He wouldn't do that, would he? She doubted it. She trusted James, and she figured he wouldn't want someone else to have what they both knew was his. She kissed him back when he kissed her, smiling and nodding. "I'll see you after Yora and I get back. I love you, too," she told him, and then gave Osmond a smile before heading out of the house to head to work.
