Isla smiled softly when he talked about his father and then patted his head. "I am going to enjoy seeing this." She giggled and walked away. She touched him. Isla hoped he didn't think it meant anything. She didn't want him to make some kind of move on her. She got his little high chair seat that she could sit on a table. "There you go." She smiled and disappeared again. She had got the peas to heat up and went to get his milk when she realized it was her milk and blinked. "Dear god." She whispered. Maybe he wouldn't notice and just went heat it up enough to be good and not burn him before pouring it into the bottled, getting the peas ready and mashed then went over to him. "We got food." She smiled and handed the stuff to him.

Rhyanid smiled a bit when she patted his head, waiting with James while she went to get the food ready for the little guy. When she brought out the high chair he gently put James in it, fiddling a bit with the restraints but managing to get it working. It wasn't entirely dissimilar from a harness for an animal. He chuckled a bit, taking the food from her when she brought it. "Cool. Let's see if the little dude wants to eat the food," he said, taking a spoonful of the peas and guiding it to James's mouth. "Open up, buddy."

Isla sat down and sipped her milk as she watched the large man try and feed her baby. James looked at Rhyan and then the spoon and then him again. He reached out and tried to grab it.

Rhyanid chuckled when James tried to grab the spoon, moving it so he wouldn't be successful. "What, you wanna feed yourself? I think you're still a bit little for that, aren't you?" he chuckled. He brought the spoonful of food to James's lips, gently poking his mouth with it as if requesting entry.

James laughed and when the spoon hit his lips he opened his mouth and latched to the spoon before making a face and looked out the window to watch what caught his eye, eating the mush he was fed.

Rhyanid chuckled when James laughed and ate the food, amused by the look on the little boy's face. He gently pried the spoon free while James ate his mush, scooping up another spoonful and watching until he was done before bringing the next spoonful up. "Here ya go, little dude," he said.

James blinked and opened up, slowly letting some of it ooze out of his mouth. Isla had set her glass of milk down and got up. She might as well use this alone time to her advantage and went into the basement to work on her aquariums.

Rhyanid chuckled when James let the food dribble out of his mouth. He used the little spoon to scoop up the food from the corner of his mouth. "Here you go, little dude," he told him. He noticed Isla leaving but didn't say anything, figuring she probably appreciated having someone else entertain her little guy for a while and was going to take advantage of that time. He didn't mind. He liked her kid, and he figured she deserved some time to herself.

James ate obediently, but there was a mess. He reached for the bottle and whined a bit. Isla was in one of the tanks, setting things up like rocks and rock house

Rhyanid set the spoon down when James was done with his food, smiling when he reached for the bottle. "You want this next, huh?" he asked with a chuckle, picking up the bottle and bringing it to the little boy's mouth. "Here you go. I'm sure you're big enough to hold it but you're cute so I'm gonna hold it for you," he laughed.

James held Rhyan's hand softly and played with his fingers softly too. He looked up at the man and giggled while drinking. When he was done he yawned and stated to doze off before crying.

Rhyanid smiled as James held on to his hand and played with his fingers. When James was done with his bottle he set it aside, blinking when James started to doze off only to randomly start crying. "Hey, there's nothing to cry about," he said. He gently took James out of the seat and gave him a cuddle. "See? You're out of the strappy chair now. It's all good," he said reassuringly.

James stopped crying after a bit and sniffled until he fell asleep. His little hand held onto his hair as one would a security blanket.

Rhyanid smiled as James stopped crying and started to drift off to sleep. He didn't mind that James was holding on to his hair like this, since it was cute and obviously helped the little one to sleep. He decided to go find Isla, moving quietly and taking James with him. He soon found her, blinking at the sight of her inside a giant empty fish tank. "That...is going to need a lot of water," he chuckled.

Isla looked up and laughed, it echoing in the tank. "Ohhhh yeah! And I won't live by the ocean anymore. So..." She sighed but smiled and saw him holding her sleeping son. As much as she hated to admit, he looked really handsome with her boy. He looked like a dad without even trying. "Maybe..." she said and stopped, thinking about it for a moment. He hadn't done anything to her yet, maybe she will be okay with him being able to help her. He wasn't Dover. "Maybe you can come and help? You literally almost the same height as these tanks." She laughed softly.

Rhyanid laughed when she pointed out that she didn't live by the ocean any more, nodding. "Yeah, I have no idea how you're going to transport enough water - I'm assuming you need saltwater? - to fill this," he said with a smirk. "You'll need to rent out an entire dragon to yourself for the day." He blinked when she asked if he would be willing to help her with the tanks, and then he nodded. "Yeah, sure," he said. "We'll just have to figure out the logistics of it, because I have no idea how you're gonna do this," he chuckled.

Isla sat down in the tank and thought about it. "I don't have to do saltwater fish, though they are quite lovely. I can always do freshwater. They have some gorgeous ones and it would be a lot cheaper." She said and smiled over at him. "Cois are lovely... probably my favorite freshwater fish. Gorgeous beauties." She smiled and then blinked, "you have my baby with you. How did you get him to konk so fast?" She asked and glared. "You are your mother... what magic..." She sighed.

Rhyanid nodded when she said that there were gorgeous freshwater fish and that it would be cheaper. "Yeah. You could just bring in water from the lake island, rather than having to somehow ship it up from down below," he said. He blinked when she seemed to realize only now that James was with him and he glanced down at the sleeping boy, then looked back at Isla. "I dunno. He started to cry a bit when he was done eating so I gave him some cuddles and he went right to sleep. He's got a bit of a deathgrip on my hair here, though," he laughed.

Isla sighed, "Witchcraft... the only thing I can think of. Ya a wizard, Rhyan." She smirked and hopped up, gripping the edges of that tank and pulled herself up before hopping over and landing on her feet. "I guess your spell backfired a bit and now he won't let go of you. Serves you right." She laughed and motioned for him to bend down. "Let me get that boy off ya." She said softly.

Rhyanid chuckled a bit, watching her climb out of the tank and smiling a little at her joke. "Hey, I wasn't complaining. He's cute," he told her with a smile. When she motioned for him to bend down he nodded, leaning down enough that Isla would be able to pry her son off of him. "Wow, you really are short," he said, shaking his head a bit.

Isla got to working with his little fingers off of his hair and huffed, "So rude, Rhyan. So gonna tell your momma. She is gon fuss at you, boy." She said and smiled before getting his hair free and taking her son. She bounced with him softly and looked up at him. "Now I really hope you hit your head on something." She smirked and stuck her tongue out at him.

Rhyanid laughed a little and shook his head a bit at her. "She'll agree with me. Don't be silly," he teased. He waited patiently while she freed his hair from her son's death grip and took the little boy back, blinking when she said she hoped he hit his head on something. "Well, I hate to tell you, but you're going to be disappointed," he said with a chuckle. "Think it's stopped raining yet? My mother's probably wondering where I've gone to," he said.

Isla sighed, "MAYBE she will but if I give her a puppy dog face she might take my side. I will try hard. Going to look extra cute. I mean... it is going to be hard because you are her baby boy and she is my boss..." She sighed once again and then laughed, "A girl can hope, Rhyan." She said and nodded for him to follow. Isla walked up the stairs and looked out the window. "Yup... just tell her I trapped you in my fish tank." She smiled before going to James' room and laying him down in his crib before going out and walking him back into the living room. "Thanks for agreeing to help me with the tanks. I will let you know when I can get the fish in and then we can get to that." She said softly.

Rhyanid smirked a little when she said she was going to look extra cute to make his mother side with her. "We'll have to see, then, how that goes," he said with a laugh before heading upstairs with her. He nodded when she said it wasn't raining any more, following her until they were back in the living room. He smiled when she thanked him. "It's no problem. That's what friends are for," he told her. "Have a good night, Isla," he said, giving her a wave before letting himself out so he could head back to work.
