Talila smiled before stopping her from brushing her jeans off and did it herself. "There... that's my excuse for touching your butt." She giggled and took her hand before walking down the cliff. "I am really glad you liked fruit and I was selling fruit and that we met." She said softly. "Though... I have to admit... I am kind of scared." She said softly.

Elizabeth blinked when Talila brushed her jeans off for her, and when she spoke, she burst out laughing. "You're so damn sneaky," she said with a laugh. "You look all cute and innocent, but I see through you," she added, taking her hand and walking with her. She smiled at Talila's next words, and then glanced over at her when she said she was scared. "Kind of scared? Why? I'm not that scary, am I?" she asked, blinking slightly. She was trying her best not to do anything that would scare Talila off, since she liked the girl so damn much.

Talila giggled, "I have to be..." She said softly. "Hmm not that YOU are scary... just... you are a newcomer and all from a place I don't know and you could pretend... the girl who I became friends with when I was taken was tricked. She started to date a guy from somewhere else and he... he had her fall so hard for him that she would have gone anywhere with him and she did... right into his trap and... well that is another reason why I didn't really date any newcomers who weren't going to live on the island. I... I am just scared to be taken again." She said softly, letting go of the woman's had and looking away. Talila knew the older woman would probably get mad at her for suggesting such a thing.

Elizabeth blinked when Talila explained what had happened to her friend, frowning and shaking her head. "Well..." she said after a moment, glancing down at her hand when Talila let go of it before looking back at the girl even though she had turned away, "I don't really blame you for being wary. I'm sure I would be, too," she said. "I know it probably doesn't mean much, but I promise I'd never do something like that to you and I'll do whatever it takes to prove it to you. Ask or do whatever you need to feel safe, Talila, and I'll do whatever you need me to, okay?" With a story like that, she really couldn't fault Talila for being afraid.

Hadasha smiled up at him, "Hello." She said softly. She searched her head for words to speak but it failed her. What could she tell a man who loved a spiteful woman? She had his kids and he was already depressed. Hadasha looked around. The sun was setting and she wanted him to watch something beautiful. "Come with me." She said softly and grabbed his hand before walking with him to the cliff by the lake. Once up there she patted the ground next to her after she sat and smiled up at him. "Sit sit." She said softly.

Thuling blinked when the girl grabbed him by the hand, but he didn't resist and he followed her along. He was quiet the whole way there, looking around as they reached the cliff. It really was quite the sight, though he didn't think it could quite compare to the magnificent beauty of the glowing caves. When she sat down and patted the ground beside her, telling him to sit, he blinked and then sat down, gently patting the earth beneath him as he did. This, at least, was familiar - the earth and the dirt and the land. The sky, though, was so strange - he'd seen it in paintings before, but had never expected that it would be this... vast. Or empty. The trees were much larger than he'd realized, too; traders often brought small potted plants and the like down to the city, though they didn't often live long without sunlight and were considered a temporary decoration down there.

Hadasha said nothing as she let him take in the scenery. She loved the sunsets, there were just gorgeous. Yeah, she had seen the glowing caves and they were gorgeous in their own right, such as the sky. Her little legs swayed over the cliff and she played with her skirt as she watched. Once the sun had completely disappeared she looked over at him. "Life isn't a guaranteed fairness. Some have to work really hard for what someone else might get so easily. Sometimes you can get what you want but you have to make a really tough decision... and sometimes... we just don't get to have them." She said and then looked back out over the water. "I gave you a sunset, Thul... not because it was just a beautiful setting... because it is a reminder, that it might be dark now, but if we wait... the big ball of light will come back around. Not everyone gets a moon and stars to show them the way either... sometimes we gotta fumble and tumble to find our way, but at least we try, right?" She smiled.

Thuling was quiet while the sun went down. He wasn't entirely sure why the girl had brought him here. When she finally spoke up, he again remained quiet, letting the girl speak. When she was done, he looked down at her, and the sweetness in her smile couldn't help but to make him smile as well, somewhat. "Has anybody told you before that you're a bit corny? It's a cute sort of corny, though, don't worry," he said, saying the last part quickly as he'd obviously realized that it could have the potential for offense if the girl took it the wrong way.

Hadasha frowned a bit when he said she was corny, but then he had said in a cute sort of way and she blushed. "Well... I like helping people. Watching them grow, no matter what age, is always a lovely thing. Kind of like a flower or a tree... I just want you to be happy, Thul. You look rather nice when a smile on your face." She giggled. "I know you miss your siblings a lot, I would miss mine, but if they are at their happiest far away well... my love knows no bounds and I will do my best to see them when I can. I really wish I could help you with your children situation. No child or loving ex-husband should have to go through that. I really hope there is a day, soonish, that you get them back." She said before looking back over the water.

Thuling wasn't entirely sure what the little flutter in his heart was as she spoke - perhaps a softness for this sweet young girl? He wasn't sure. It... certainly wasn't romantic. He was fairly sure of that. She was just a kid, after all. He was quiet for a short bit after she finished talking, and then he turned his hazel eyes upon her again. "It's getting late. If my understanding is correct, the surface world is not exactly a forgiving place at night and we'd most likely best be on our way," he suggested, getting up to his feet and offering her a hand up.

Hadasha blushed, embarrassed that she said any of that. He was a grown man, foolishly in love with an evil woman, but a grown man nonetheless. Even if she felt something for this handsome man, he was hopelessly in love with his ex and had children. She mentally sighed and cursed herself for being stupid. There were nice and good men on the island but none of them made her feel like he did when she first saw him. She gently took his hand, once again loving how hers felt in his and stood. "Thank you, Thul." She said softly and headed down the cliff. "I am sorry if I talked your head off... I actually wanted to stay quiet... just you know... someone you could rant to if you wanted." She sighed and gently played with her necklace.

Thuling gently helped the girl to her feet, beginning to walk with her quietly. When she apologized for talking his head off, he blinked. "Oh, no, it was fine. I rather appreciated it. You have some useful and thoughtful things to say... and, really, I'm not the ranting type. Not usually, at least - there are sometimes occasions when I can be, but today certainly isn't one of those," he said with a chuckle.

Hadasha smiled and giggled a bit. "That is quite alright now isn't it?" She said softly and tucked her hair behind her ear. He was something else. He didn't seem like Istrain or like other men she knew. He didn't act like he was tough or macho. He just... was a sad man, though she wondered how he was when he was happy and now she was on a mission. "So... tomorrow... you think you can meet me at the house or the outside of the village? Also... I need to know your favorite color, please." She said softly.

Thuling smiled when she said it was alright, walking along with her and blinking when she asked him to meet her tomorrow and to tell her his favourite colour. "I'm sure I'll be able to find your house on my own. Let's put it this way... if I can find my way to the village, I'll be able to find your house," he said with a chuckle. "My favourite colour is red... but not a bright red. A more muted colour. Bright red can be an eyesore," he told her.
