Watchtower Fallen

Twenty years into the future, a far space race of aliens warped near earth's orbit. The watchtower was the first to pick it up and like so many times before, they mobilized in defense of our planet. The heroes who went out to meet the intruders, found themselves dead first. Killed in a bloody space battles Shortly after, the aliens invaded the watchtower. They sent it plummeting toward earth, crashing into Metropolis, killing millions. The batman, dead. The Superman, dead. All our heroes and legends burned like tinder to flame. Only when they landed, did we see them. They called themselves The Builders. Their exterior seemed to be an organic metal compound that proved to be nearly bulletproof and immune to various telepathic powers. Standing over seven foot tall make them look as intimidating as their swift punishment for all hostility. They came in such great numbers, that within a week the world governments lost control and were swept into chaos. We live in the builder controlled Gotham and are struggling to start an uprising, the last hope to save the planet.
