|Personality|
Childish- Peter is a big kid. He likes to pull pranks, play games, and carries candy on his person at all times. He's also not much of a rule follower, but he has is own set of rules. This also means he's very fun-loving.

Imaginative- Peter likes to tell stories and make up games when comes in handy when working with kids.

Daring- To Peter, everyday is an adventure so he likes to live life to its fullest. Unfortunately this can lead to some dangerous stunts.

Protective- When it comes to little kids and the people he cares about, Peter's got their back. No one was really there for him growing up and a lot of things he had to figure out on his own. He doesn't want another kid to live like that.

Awkward- Because Peter is such a child sometimes, it makes it difficult for him to relate to other people. Especially adults and most kids his age.

Optimistic- It's hard to fly when your thoughts keep you down so Peter tends to be more optimistic when troubles come his way.

Competitive- Peter strives to be the best and that often brings out his competitive side. It's hard to be the best when there's someone better than you.

Sarcastic- One of Peter's quirks is sarcasm. It's largely a defense mechanism, but it often comes out in social situations as a way to entertain people. At least, that's what he thinks.

Dark- One trait not normally associated with Peter is a dark side. Since his big battle with Hook, he's found he has dips in his mood where he's down and angry. He does more dangerous things and can often lash out at people he cares about. He calls it his "Hook" side and anyone he feels close to will know that if he ever says anything in his "Hook" moods, he doesn't mean it. (When in this mood his thought and conversation Hex colors switch)

Image
Image
|Strengths|
Peter is very good with kids, especially boys considering he had been around them his whole life. His optimism allows him to listen to and help others. Having fought pirates in the past, he's an excellent fighter.

|Weaknesses|
Believe it or not, Peter loves to fly, but is actually scared of heights. It's one thing for him to control where he flies, but it's another when he's standing up high and could potentially fall. There's also his dark side.

Image|History|

For as long as Peter can remember he was in Neverland. Many lost boys joined him along the way and he eventually befriended a fairy named Tinkerbell. They had adventures everyday and told stories until they fell asleep at night. They met with natives for hunts and dances, swam with mermaids under the sea, partied with fairies, and fought pirates. It was an epic tale, Peter and Hook. The old codfish who sought treasure and Peter's death and a young boy who would never grow up.

One day Peter took flight past the stars and into London where he would find a girl named Wendy and her two brothers Michael and John. He would take them on their grandest adventure into Neverland so they can join the lost kids. Wendy would tell them stories and John and Michael would be their brothers. Peter found that Wendy held more than his attention. She held his heart. And Hook knew it too.

He captured Wendy and the lost boys and nearly killed Tinkerbell, Peter's dearest friend. That was Peter's lowest point, the time that another side that lied dormant within him broke through to the surface. He was angry at Hook and wanted his revenge. He flew to the ship and took down every pirate. He called upon the Croc to aid in his battle against Hook and in the end it was the croc that one. Peter defeated Hook, saved Wendy and the lost boys, and--most importantly--saved Tinkerbell.

After his big battle with Hook, Neverland grew quiet. Tink had left Peter behind and not long after, Wendy took her brother's home to London where they were to grow up. It broke Peter's heart to lose two people he cared so deeply for. The lost boys began to leave looking for Wendy, but never returned. Peter decided that they found homes of their own and decided to stay. The island of Neverland was empty for Peter now. No pirates, no family, and no Friends. Lonely and angry, Peter took off from Neverland, but when he went to Wendy's home in London, Wendy had grown up, gotten married, and had children: Jane and Daniel. Peter smiled sadly, at Wendy, devastated but also happy. He was happy that Wendy was happy. He left London behind and flew until he came across a town of fairy tales: Enchantra.

Here he decided to stay. He would learn to live instead of running from Time. He got a job at an arcade and though he would grow old physically, he would forever be a kid at heart. And maybe one day, he could find someone as Wendy had so his life wouldn't be so lonely like it had in Neverland.

So begins...

Ruby awoke to the sound of her alarm going off at exactly seven in the morning. Today was the first day she were to be on her own. Her father decided it best to leave town, leaving everything he owned to her. She had the home, the vehicles, everything. Ruby sat up with a sigh as she slammed her hand down onto the alarm to silence the screaming before climbing out of bed. She then proceeded to head to the shower, get dressed, and grabbed her keys and headed out to the diner. So far everything was going well. Which was honestly strange, giving the fact that Ruby's luck always seems to bite her in the ass at the end of the day, but let's not get too far ahead of ourselves. Things could change throughout the duration of the next twenty four hours.

Upon pulling up to her diner, she parked her vehicle behind the building and unlocked the door to allow herself inside. Ruby hoped that Trixie and Aladdin would show up on time. Though she wasn't going to hold her breath on Aladdin, he always seemed to have his own way of doing things, never really following along to anyone's schedule. With a sigh she began to get everything ready for the morning rush. As if it were some sort of tradition, almost everyone in town always seemed to show up at her diner to have breakfast. Be it a meal or just a cup of coffee. Though she didn't mind it, it gave her a way to get to know everyone in town without making too much of an effort.

Everything seems to be in order, she thought to herself as she turned the open sign over for everyone to know that her diner was now open for business for the duration of the day. Ruby began to head back to the kitchen to start cooking her own breakfast, which consisted of a waffle, two sausage links, and a cup of blueberry coffee. Always was her favorite thing for breakfast, even when she was a kid.

What woke Peter was a sound he still wasn't used to hearing: silence. Even in the months of silence on Neverland and the month spent here in Enchantra. A hollow aching filled his core at the thought of his lost boys. They had grown up without him. Even Tink. He reached up to his headboard and pulled down a sterling silver chain with two wings hanging off. He saw it back in London and--even though they were angel wings and not sparkling fairy wings--it had reminded him of Tink and he bought them. He ran his finger over the carved feathers and thought of the time Peter and Tink spent at Tiger Lily's camp telling stories and laughing. He gripped the two charms tightly in his fist and tossed the chain over his head. The two charms settled between his collarbone.

He took a deep breath and jumped from bed. Literally leaping from the mattress and landed on his feet with a thud. He grabbed a shirt from his drawer and a pair of brown jeans from his closet and changed. In the bathroom, he ran his fingers through his wild brown hair to tame it, but it was no use. It would always be wild as the boy still locked inside him. His eyes were continuing to fade from their forest green to a tree trunk brown. He frowned. The real world was a terrible place.

He ran his toothbrush under the tap before spreading a pea of toothpaste onto the bristles and went to work brushing his teeth as he searched his drawers for clean socks. Looks like I'm down to my last pair.. That means I have to do laundry. He groaned and looked about the mess of his room. Room needs cleaning too.. Responsibility is a pain. He shrugged, adding it to his mental list of things to do and finished with his teeth. He pulled his shoes on and grabbed his wallet and watch before heading out into the morning air.

The sun was brighter than he had expected which made him wish he owned a pair of sunglasses, but oh well. There were others out and about, but not many on their way to Ruby's Diner which was where he was heading for some grub. Bacon and eggs preferably. He hoped Trixie was behind the counter today. He loved to tease her. He also hoped that Aladdin would either be so late that Peter wouldn't have to see him or skipped work all together. Either way, he didn't want to see him.

He pushed open the diner door and crowed, signalling his arrival. He smiled and waved to a startled Belle and ignored Mallory before moving to the booth he usually occupied in the corner and waited for Trixie or Ruby.

Aura awoke to the sound (or feeling, rather) of a rough tongue on her face and hot breath in her nose. Fluttering her eyes, she came face to face with a speckled tomcat the size of her torso. Any other person might have been heavily startled, but Aura took it in stride and began to scratch his head. "Well, hello there..." she murmured as he purred. Checking his fur, she found now collar nor a scar from where a chip might have been placed. And based on the mud encrusted in there, she deemed him a stray and her new best friend within a minute. "I bet you're hungry, huh?" she asked him, to which he merely gazed at her with sad eyes until she swung her legs around and stood, heading for the kitchen. "Now, I don't have any cat food, but I think I have some tuna leftovers in the fridge. Does that sound okay?" She supposed it was a sign of her character that she spoke to the cat as if it were human, but she also supposed that it didn't mean anything significant. She was happy for the company, for she had gotten a bit lonely as of late.

She put out the tuna dish and smiled as the cat dove right on it. "You need a name..." she whispered, thinking hard. "But a name can't be just anything, it has to suit the person, or...cat, in this case." He looked up at her with wide eyes, licking his chops clean and sitting on the floor while his tail flicked back and forth. "Alright, well, I'm going to think on it over breakfast, okay? And I'll pick up a bed and some toys and things, too," she said, changing into some clothes and grabbing her bag. She made her way over to the door, the cat following her every move so closely that she needed to pick up the pace or he'd claw her heels. "Okay, cat, just stick around here and I'll be back soon," she said as she opened the door. Just as she was about to close it, the cat zoomed through and sat waiting for her on the other side. "No, cat, you stay in and I go out." She motioned for him to get inside, but when she tried to close the door again, he just went right through. They did this dance about three more times before Aura finally threw up her hands in frustration. "Arrête de me suivre!" She exclaimed in french, meaning for him to stop following her. "Suivre...suivre...hmm..." she though aloud. If anyone were to walk by her in the hall they would certainly think her mad, but she paid them no mind. "Alright, I'll call you suivre, sui for short, since you apparently like to follow people." She declared, closing the door behind them both and walking down the stairs, Sui following along placidly.

She made her way over to the diner and walked in to find Mallory and Belle at the counter, and Peter in a booth in the corner. She smiled at each of them and sat at the counter a little ways down from the other girls, Sui hopping up on the stool beside her. Aura had always been sort of quiet, the turmoils of her past causing her to regret any relationship she made. She knew Peter well enough, but until Alice got here, she probably wouldn't talk to anyone unless they came up to her. She pet Sui affectionately and waited for the day to start.

Just as Ruby began to pile her cooked breakfast onto a plate and turn all of the appliances off until customers began to arrive, she heard the bell from the front door of the diner chime just before hearing an all too familiar voice. "Ruby?" It was Trixie. "In the kitchen!" she called out loud enough for her best friend to hear her. Just seconds passed by before the fairy joined her in the kitchen, "Hey! So, you ready for today?" Trixie always seemed to be a bit optimistic and ready for anything that was thrown her way. Although Ruby was that way as well, she was never as optimistic as Trixie was. Maybe that was a good thing.

The female took a sip from her coffee just before answering her question, "As ready as I'll ever be," she stated. Ruby continued to eat her breakfast as quickly as she could without choking herself so that she would at least have some sort of food in her stomach before the morning rush. Last time she didn't eat before everyone began to show up, she passed out and needed to be rushed off to the hospital. This was definitely not something she was looking forward to happening again. So it would be best to eat something, even if it is just something small.

Ruby just finished her last sausage link when she heard the bell chime once more. It was time to get to work. "Ruby? I could really use a huge cup of coffee." The brunette departed from the kitchen to see Mallory in front of the counter. "Of course," she stated with a warm smile and got to work on Mallory's coffee. As often as the townspeople stopped in at the diner, she has memorized everyone's meals and how they take their drinks. Though she always asks if they want their regular before handing off the food or beverage. There are a few who like to change things up once in a while. Upon finishing up with Mal's coffee she handed it over to her. "Any big plans for the day?" she questioned.

Ruby glanced over at the door when she spotted Belle stepping in and she gave her a soft smile before running off to the kitchen to get her pancakes going. Without fail, Belle has always came in to have her chocolate chip pancakes with strawberries and a rose tea. Moments later the brunette brought the plate and beverage out to her best friend and set them down in front of her. "Good morning, Belle," she greeted. Ruby glanced over at the clock hanging on the wall to see that Aladdin was now an hour late for work. She sighed a bit and glanced over at Trixie, "Could you go take care of Peter and Aura's orders while I figure out what is up with Aladdin," she questioned.

Just like any other day, Aladdin has gotten a late start. The previous night he was up wandering around Enchantra just taking in the night air. That was one thing he did almost every night. He preferred to be on his own and the night time was one of the only times he had to himself because most people were off at home. The male sighed as he climbed out of bed and glanced over at the clock to find that it was roughly nine thirty in the morning. Aladdin rolled his eyes and stood to his feet before groggily making his way through his condo towards the bathroom to shower. After he showered, he got dressed and made his way into his bedroom just in time to hear his phone ringing. Must be Ruby, he thought to himself as he lifted the phone and glanced down at the screen to see he was correct.

"Hey Rubes," he stated into the phone as he sat down at the edge of his bed and began to slide his shoes on. "Where are you? You were supposed to be here an hour ago. The morning rush has started and if you wait too much longer to show up Trixie and I will be flooded!" Aladdin rolled his eyes as he heard the heated words spout from his sister's mouth. Ruby has always been hot headed, especially when it came to him. "Alright, alright, calm down. I'll be there," he stated just before hanging up the phone and sliding it into his pocket and stood to his feet. The male reached over to his car keys and proceeded to leave his condo through his personal elevator all the way down to the lobby. He made his way out the front door of the building and headed out towards his vehicle.

Not much longer Aladdin arrived at Ruby's diner and parked behind the building right next to Ruby. He sighed as he rounded the building and stepped in through the front door just in time to notice Trixie, Mallory, Peter, Belle, and Aura all in the main part of the diner. He sighed as he walked pass them all without a word and stepped into the kitchen, knowing that was exactly where Ruby was going to be.

"I'm here, I'm here," he stated as he placed his personal belongings into his locker and closed it behind him. "Must you always wear some sort of suit everyday," Ruby stated sarcastically as she tossed him a pad of paper and a pen. Aladdin just chuckled a bit and stepped out into the dining area and got to work.

Ruby emerged from the kitchen and Belle could just barely make out Trixie hard at work on the other side of the swinging door. Ruby placed Mallory's coffee down in front of the girl just a few seats down and then went back to grab--what Belle hoped to be--her breakfast. As the door swung open again, she could smell rose and chocolate. Definitely her breakfast. As Ruby set down the food before Belle, she greeted her. "Good Morning, Ruby! You know me so well." She smiled at the girl before grabbing the warm mug of tea and took a cautious sip. It was delicious and just the thing to start the morning. She placed the cup back on the counter and grabbed utensils so she could start on her pancakes.

The first bite was fluffy, buttery, and chocolatey, just the way she liked it! "Mmmm.." She moaned around a mouthful of melting chocolate. When she swallowed she called out to Ruby, "These are the absolute best, Ruby!"

The bell above the door would ding every time someone entered and as the day moved on, more and more people came through. Eventually Aura and Alice joined them, both bringing feline companions. They both looked adorable, but one had definitely been outside in the dirt. Belle waved to the girls in greeting before continuing with her breakfast. She prefered dogs anyway. The beasts are easier to tame.

Another ding sounded and Belle saw a flash of blue and black and she smiled softly at her plate. Aladdin was here. He didn't beckon anyone good morning, but that was just his style. Not too long after, he was back out in the diner with a pad in his hand. "Hey Ali!" She called out to him. "I guess you got the memo huh?" She winked at him and gestured to her blue dress. It was almost the exact same shade of blue as his suit. Only his was darker.

Caspin was not happy to be woken up by a horrible alarm as well as the bright sunlight. The harsh rays made him regret there ever drinking and he hates regretting something so wonderful. Caspian was used to the hangovers, but the minor headache was unappreciated. He looked over at the clock and saw that it was still really early. Stores were just opening up and people were getting breakfast. While Caspian was thinking about the next 'appropriate' time to drink. Possibly in another hour or so. But he wanted to see his favorite restaurant owner before consuming the rest of the whiskey in his flask. Rolling over in his bed, he then felt another body in the bed.

He grew a bit wide eyed starting at the red head just laying next to him. Caspian had no idea who she was and didn't even remember how she got in. That was when he took notice of her naked body and then looked over his own. It did not take rocket science for him to know what had happened between them. She looked like she was still asleep, so he slowly crawled out of bed. "Hook?" Caspian heard while he was on his way to the bathroom. He turned around and tossed her a charming smile. "Hello sweetheart. Sleep well?" he asked, trying not to make it seem like he had forgotten her name even though he had. She nodded and then pulled herself out the bed. Caspian now completely understood why they had slept together. She was beautiful. He watched her gather her things. "I would stay, but I have work." Caspian has never felt so lucky. "Of course I understand." He watched her get dressed, admiring the body she was blessed with. She made her way over to him once she was clothed and placed a kiss on her lips. "See you around Captain." The red head gave him a two fingered salute before leaving his apartment. Caspian locked the door behind her and went to his bathroom.

It never takes him very long to get dressed. Once he showers and scrubs the taste of alcohol off his tongue, he just throws on whatever smells nice. Standing before the mirror, he ran his fingers through his hair before giving himself a charming smile. Caspian walked back over to his nightstand and pocketed his flask. Never left home without it. He left his apartment and headed down the restaurant. Everyone always came here for breakfast. The service was fast and the servers were quite nice. For Caspian there was only server he wanted to see in particular. He pushed the door open and flashed everyone a smile. Most of them were the women he has had a tendency to flirt with. "Look at all my beautiful ladies in one place." He said, before winking at Alice.

Cas took his seat at the counter, surrounded by the girls. He saw his friend Aladdin and flagged him over. "Hey Al. What's good today?" He had to refrain from adding, besides Ruby. The two were like siblings and Caspian did not want to look like a complete asshole.

Mallory was waiting rather patiently for her coffee. She wasn't going to rush Ruby since there was no urgent need to open up the herb shop. It wasn't like Mal enjoyed dealing with needy customers that didn't even know what herbs were. It was frustrating especially when the fairy had to pretend like they were right. It made her want to rip her hair out. So she always took her time at breakfast. Mal might actually order food this time as well. Isabelle came into the store and wished the dark fairy a good morning. Mallory smiled brightly at the girl. "Morning Belle" Ruby stood before the blonde with the coffee. If there was something that Ruby could do right, it was making the coffee. "Any big plans for the day?" "Nothing you would be interested in." She said with a small smile before taking a sip of the coffee. It tasted amazing.

Besides plotting to bring everyone here down on their knees, she actually had to clean the herb shop from top to bottom. She really didn't want too. And she couldn't do it with magic. As much as Mallory loved to use it, as far as everyone is concerned magic doesn't exist here. Some minor stuff is possible, but the level of magic flowing through the dark fae might scare some people. That was why she did most things by hand and hated it.

Mal's luck of silence quickly ran out when Captain Hook walked through the door. She hated that dumb pirate. He had no boundaries and just thought that he could walk around drunk. It was stupid and he was stupid. A sigh escaped her and she continued to drink her coffee. Mallory didn't acknowledge him the same way she didn't acknowledge Peter. He was even worse than Hook. She was going to need a second cup of coffee soon.

Ruby was finally given a chance to finish her own breakfast once Aladdin arrived and got to work. Though once she finished, she cleaned the area and proceeded to step out from the kitchen. She smiled a bit when she noticed Caspian had arrived just as does every morning. He was the one person she hoped to see every day, but of course she would never admit that to anyone, especially not Aladdin. Even though she had a feeling he knew about her feelings towards the pirate, his best friend, she still wouldn't want to admit it.

Ruby began to make her way over back behind the counter and noticed that Mallory's cup was almost empty. Just like clockwork she began to work on the female's second cup. After the second cup, most of the time Mallory was known to go on about her own business and take on her responsibilities at her herb shop. "Here is your second," she stated with a warm smile as she sat the glass mug down on the surface before her blonde friend.

The brunette departed from Mallory and sashayed herself towards Caspian and Aladdin who seemed to be having a secretive conversation. She sighed as she leaned against the counter and shot the pirate a flirtatious smile. "Good morning Captain," she greeted. "Anything I can get for you?" she added as she glanced over towards Aladdin who seemed to go immediately silent when the brunette approached. Now he just seemed to be looking back and forth between the two of them as if he were being entertained.

Just as Aladdin arrived into the dining area of the diner, he was greeted by none other than Belle. If there were anyone in this town who made him feel all weak in the knees, it would definitely be that beauty. He gave her a soft smile and nodded his head at her question, "Is it that obvious?" he questioned with a slight chuckle before proceeding to step over towards Peter. "Not sure what is holding up Trixie at the moment, but is there anything I can get ya?" he questioned in a more emotionless tone.

He then glanced over to Aura and Alice who seemed to be talking about some dirty cat that Aura brought in with her. "You too, ladies," he stated motioning for them to let him know what they want to eat and/or drink. He figured that since he was here, he mind as well take all three of their orders. Besides, it would just make Ruby calm down a bit and not snap at him again, at least for the next couple hours or so. If there was anything the petite brunette with the red cloak was famous for, it was snapping at Aladdin more than anyone else in Enchantra. Not because she disliked him, because that was never the case. But more realistically because he always seemed to get on her nerves.

Once Aladdin received their orders, he stepped into the kitchen and began to prepare them before proceeding to bring their food and beverages out. The male passed out their orders before hearing his best friend's voice. "Hey Al. What's good today?" Aladdin glanced over at the male and gave him a welcoming nod of his head before approaching him. "Same thing as every other day," Al responded with sarcasm. In a hushed tone so no one else could hear, especially Ruby, he questioned, "So who was that red head I saw you wandering around town with last night?"

Peter sat patiently, a new skill he seemed to have acquired, while he waited to be served. Trixie was doing something in the back, Ruby was serving those at the counter, and Aladdin was nowhere to be seen. Maybe the street rat decided to stay home today. He was flipping through his phone, when he heard a ding and glanced up. There was a flash of light blue and dark hair as Aladdin had entered and made his way to the back. Not too long after, he reappeared. Then the door opened again and Caspian entered. Peter hung his head. Great, he thought, Just my luck.

He truely didn't think things would get any more uncomfortable for him when Aladdin made his way to their table. Insults about the brightness of the dude suit or how a rat could wear a suit in the first place sat on his tongue, but he never opened his mouth to speak them. He was trying to be nicer to Aladdin and Caspian. He was trying to adult. This was step one. However, he wasn't sure that he'd be able to stick around for long so he said, "The arcade is actually opening soon so I'll need to get going. I'll have a cup of.." he paused. He was going to say coffee since he was trying to mature, but he really didn't like the taste. Juice was too childish so he went with the last thing he could think of, "whatever Belle drinks." He gestured to the girl at the counter with a smile.

"Whatever it is, it makes her look beautiful. I should give it a shot. Might brighten my complexion don't you think?"

Mayday! Mayday! Moving into douche canoe territory! His mind warned.

"Actually I'll have a chocolate milkshake. Have Ruby put a rush on that since I've been waiting a while and really need to go. It's not my fault you show up so late."

Once Aladdin turned to walk away and place his order, he smacked himself in the forehead. So much for trying to be nice.

Ruby chuckled a bit a Caspian's request for the heart shaped pancakes and shook her head. "I'll see what I can do," she stated before glancing over towards Aladdin. "By the way, Aura, Alice, and Peter's orders are ready." Ruby turned on her heels to step into the kitchen and started getting to work cooking Caspian's breakfast. Just moments later Aladdin followed behind Ruby into the kitchen and began to reach for the finished plates, "At some point we need to get a bit more help around here. With the whole town coming in everyday, it's starting to overwhelm not only you, but Trixie and myself as well. Just a thought," Aladdin mentioned before leaving Ruby alone in the kitchen.

Ruby knew Aladdin was right, but at a time like this she wasn't sure how long she would be able to keep up this charade. How much longer could she go without her closest friends starting to notice that she was putting on an act. Ruby wasn't happy, she wasn't sure who she was anymore, and just a couple nights ago she was the one who killed the strange man who was passing through town. The brunette shook herself from her thoughts and brought Caspian his meal.

Ruby set the plate down on the counter in front of him before brushing her fingers through her hair, trying to keep herself calm. "Enjoy your meal," she stated in a soft tone, hoping that Caspian wouldn't be able to read through her charade.

She immediately found Aladdin after he gave Peter and the girls their meals and pulled him into the kitchen. "I can't do this today. After everyone is finished with their breakfast, close up the diner for the rest of the day. Can you do that?" Ruby knew Aladdin was going to have questions and at this point she didn't really care. "Alright. I hope you feel better soon," Aladdin stated before Ruby walked out the kitchen without another word. She stepped through the diner with her head down at the ground and stepped through the door with the bell ringing behind her as she left the one place she felt like home here in town.

As she walked she felt herself beginning to overwhelm with all sorts of emotion. Her fists balled up in her pockets, tears began to slide down her cheeks, and her heart, it felt as if it were going to beat out of her chest. Ruby was confused, frustrated, angry, sad, she couldn't believe she let her guard down and allowed herself to do that to a complete stranger. If anyone found out everyone in town would peg her as nothing more than a murderer. What would they think if they found out about the wolf? The only people in town who knows about it are Aladdin and Caspian. Even then she wouldn't be able to admit to her two favorite men in the world she was the one who took the life from the man. That wasn't who she was, at least, that's what she thought.

Aladdin sat there with a smirk upon his face as he listened to the flirtations back and forth between his sister and best friend. Even though he wouldn't be all that happy about Ruby finding comfort in Caspian, he would be glad that she would finally find someone if their relationship ever developed into something more. Of course that wouldn't mean that Aladdin wouldn't kick Caspian's ass if he needed to, because regardless Ruby would always be his sister.

Just as if demanded, Aladdin stood to his feet and departed from his best friend to serve the morning meals to Peter, Aura, and Alice. But just before he stepped out of the kitchen to do so, he told Ruby, "At some point we need to get a bit more help around here. With the whole town coming in everyday, it's starting to overwhelm not only you, but Trixie and myself as well. Just a thought."

Aladdin placed the meals and beverages in front of the three customers, a couple of them he would call his friend but there was one male in particular he wouldn't be able to handle if the two of them were in a room alone. Sure, he understood why Peter was the way he was, but that didn't make the blond any less annoying. "Enjoy your meals," he stated just before he as dragged into the kitchen by none other than Ruby.

He was worried about her, she was definitely acting strange, stranger than she ever had. Aladdin just wished he would be able to figured out what was bothering her so much. "I can't do this today. After everyone is finished with their breakfast, close up the diner for the rest of the day. Can you do that?" Aladdin nodded his head at Ruby's words, "Yeah, you be safe and let me know if you need anything, anything at all," Aladdin stated in Ruby's direction before he watched her step out the kitchen. Aladdin let out a sigh and shook his head to himself. He hoped Ruby was going to be alright.

Peter waited patiently for his breakfast knowing that Ruby was probably really busy with customers. He looked to his right and he found his thinking to be true, only he wasn't pleased by the customer that she was busy with. Caspian. His hands slowly balled into fists, but he made himself relax. He was trying to be a better guy. Especially to Caspian, but sometimes their past just... sometimes he just couldn't get himself to let go. He had thought about joining the conversation, knowing Ruby would keep a fight from breaking out between them, but then thought against it. He could barely control his mouth around Aladdin. He really didn't want to know how he'd behave around Caspian, Ruby or no. So he sat and waited.

Peter was actually impressed in the lack of response from Aladdin at his outburst earlier and smiled apologetically at the man, but he didn't seem to notice which, of course, made Peter angry, but he pushed it down and quietly muttered "Thanks for the meal" before taking a sip. It was delicious, of course. Everything in this diner was. It was almost like magic, if Peter believed in such things anymore. He left the money for the milkshake on the table as well as a tip for Aladdin as another apology, and headed off to work. The arcade opened earlier than Peter would've liked, but it as a job and it was fun and that's all that really mattered to him. As he walked, he heard someone coming up behind him. He turned to find Ruby.

Her eyes were firmly fixed on the ground as she walked and when she passed he could've sworn he heard her sniffling. His eyes widened and his chest ached with worry for the girl who was like a sister and he reached out to her without hesitation. "Ruby? Ruby what's the matter? Are you sick? Are you hurt?" He moved around in front of her so she could see the worry in his brown eyes. Knowing her, she would probably push him away and storm off, angry at herself for being seen--She was just that type of girl-- but he had to try. The protective side of him needed to comfort her, even if she wouldn't tell him what was wrong.

Isabelle finished her breakfast with a smile on her face, and sipped at her tea as she waited for the check. She heard the conversation between Alice and Aura and smiled softly. Alice was always so thoughtful when it came to others. She glanced at the clock and felt a sense of urgency course through her. She was going to be late opening the shop if she didn't leave soon. She was allowed flexible hours, but she liked to be reliable. She waved down Ali, with a soft and apologetic smile for interrupting his work. "I'm ready for th-"

Ruby came out of the kitchen, head down and silent, and left the diner. "...check."She stared after her friend a moment before turning back to Ali, "Is Ruby okay?" She asked, worry filling her features. "Did something happen?"

Ruby quickly lifted her head from the sudden surprise of a hand wrapping around her arm. She was ready to let the person have a taste of her wrath before she realized it was the sweet Peter. The female wiped her eyes and gave him a soft response, "I'm alright. Go on about your day and don't worry about me," she stated before turning away from Peter and began to continue back through town.

How could I be stupid enough to let Peter see me crying. Questions are going to arise, people are going to try to get me to talk things out. Things were definitely going to unfold in an ugly manner, the brunette shook her head at herself as she continued through town towards the outskirts that was nothing more than a wooded area. She stood at the edge of the woods and stared, as if getting lost, hypnotized almost. The woods always gave her comfort, made her feel more at home than anywhere else in the world. Of course she knew it had something to do with her wolf persona, but who would she ever be able to explain this to? Who wouldn't judge her for it, put her down for who she truly is? No one. She knew that. Not even Caspian would understand and he has done horrible things in his past as well.

Maybe she just wasn't having enough faith in her friends, maybe she wasn't taking the time to think things through before jumping to conclusions. But there was nothing else she could ever think about. Ruby murdered someone, took a life from a complete stranger and nobody knew but her. This horrible secret was just eating her alive. The man had family, friends, even had a couple little kids to go back home to. All those people, those loved ones, she took him away from them. For what reason? There was not a single one. The wolf was bloodthirsty, that was all there was to it. If it were up to Ruby, she would have complete control over the wolf. If it weren't for the fact she had lost her red hood somewhere and had yet to find it, things wouldn't have gone sour. So many things could have gone differently if she hadn't misplaced that stupid red hood.

With a sigh Ruby looked up to the sky, tears continuing to slide down her cheeks, "Granny, what should I do?" Finally Ruby dropped down to the ground and sat there, crying, in silence. She needed this time t be alone, there was no other way for her to heal.

Aladdin was just beginning to get back to work when he was waved down by none other than his friend Belle. "I'm ready for th-" Just as she was beginning to speak she cut herself off when she noticed Ruby walking out of the diner giving off nothing more than a cold shoulder to everyone in the small building. Aladdin just wished he knew what was going on, maybe he'd be able to help. "...check." She stared as Ruby left the diner before adding, "Is Ruby okay? Did something happen?"

Aladdin sighed when he heard Belle's thoughts and walked around to the register as he began to get the brunette's check ready for her as he answered her questions. "I'm not sure. She didn't say very much before she left," he answered as he handed Belle the check. "These past couple of days she has been acting strange. Something is going on, but I'm not sure what. I'll try to send Caspian after her, maybe he'll be able to break it out of her."

Aladdin returned to Caspian with a sigh as he sat down on the chair beside his best friend. He glanced over at him with a serious look upon his face and spoke up, "Something is up with Ruby. She won't tell me what's going on and I figured that she'd tell you. You always seem to have a way of making her open up. Could you hunt her down, see if she's alright. Even if she doesn't tell you what's going on, just make sure she is okay," Aladdin questioned, hoping that Caspian would do this favor for him. Aladdin was never one to ask people of favors, especially since he has never been all that great at returning them. But when it comes down to Ruby, he'd be willing to do whatever it took to make sure she was alright, even if it meant sending his best friend in his place.

Peter half expected Ruby to bite his head off, but instead, she wiped at her eyes and gave him a soft response. He smiled sadly at her, knowing full well that she was probably anything, but okay, but if he kept pushing, she'd shut down faster than she'd open up. So he nodded and gave her arm a reassuring squeeze before he let go saying, "If you need me, you know where to find me." He watched her rush away, worry knotting in his chest, but he pushed it into a small imaginary box that held all the things he didn't want to focus on. Like Tink's whereabouts. He shook his head hard. Well, that thought escaped the "box". He pushed it back in and mentally locked it.

He continued on his way to the arcade, milkshake in hand. By the time he reached the building, his cup was empty and he tossed it in the trash just outside the door. He reached into his back pocket for the keys, and found the key for the arcade right away. He had the copy decorated so he could easily find it. It had a space theme on it which reminded him of a story he had found about toys coming to life while the owners weren't looking. The pizza parlor was spaced themed and had arcade games--specifically a crane game--and so. A space key. He unlocked the doors, turned on the lights and games, and prepared the arcade for the day's children coming by to play. As he waited, he opened the box slightly, allowing some things to spill out to occupy his time. He found himself disappointed that he hadn't the opportunity to see Trixie at work. And he was worried for Ruby who wasn't usually crying and leaving work early. A dangerous thought crossed his mind. He curled his hands into fists. If Caspian or Aladdin hurt her in any way, they would be sorry.

There was the soft chime of a bell as the door opened. A sign that the day had officially begun. He shoved the thoughts back into the box, placed a smile on his face, and greeted his first customers of the day.

Belle, worried for her friend, but was relieved to hear that Aladdin was going to send Caspian after her. She nodded in agreement with the idea and said, "That'll be good." She wanted to ask more about what could be causing her to be upset, but resisted. She couldn't let her curiosity get the better of her. Ruby wasn't the type of person to be very... personal with her. She rarely talked about her life beyond work so she was sure she wouldn't get much of an answer out of her. She wasn't entirely sure she'd be able to comfort the girl either. They were friends, but only in the sense they enjoyed each other's company from time to time. Caspian, Belle could tell, was the better choice. She seemed to open herself a little more to him. Still, she couldn't help but worry. She payed her check and was about to leave, when a familiar face came out of the swinging doors in the kitchen. Trixie.

"Hey, Tink!" She greeted cheerfully. "I bet it was a crazy one with all the people in here just in the first couple of hours." She fiddled with the napkin dispenser and the checkbook unsure exactly how to break the news to her friend that she was leaving for work and couldn't stay to chat. She decided that the truth was better than nothing so she explained. "I actually just paid my check and I'm off to open the bookshop. But you know me, you can text me anytime! I want to hear all about it, okay?" She took ahold of Tink's hand and gave it a gentle squeeze allowing her eyes to show just how sorry she was. "You also missed Peter. You should probably text him, too." She stood, made her way around the counter, and gave her friend a hug. "Again, I'm so sorry, Tink! But I have to go, I'll see you later? You could always come by the bookshop."

Belle was gone in a rush, with a quick apology. The diner was quickly emptying, so as Aladdin started closing up, she set herself to cleaning tables. "Bye, Aladdin!" She called as he left, leaving the last few plates to the kitchen. She untied her apron, hanging it up in it's usual spot, and was out the door before she realised that she had no plans for the day. And, now, it was raining. She decided to head to the arcade.

By the time she reached the arcade, she was more than a little damp. She wasn't the first in, either, but it wasn't extraordinarily busy either. She grinned as she reached Peter, leaning on the desk. "Hey. Sorry I missed you at work, things got... chaotic," she said, laughing a little.

Not long after he opened the arcade, the kids came strolling in. Peter smiled and greeted them. Tokens were distributed, pizzas and drinks were purchased and delivered to tables, and prizes were exchanged for tickets. He could hear the rain coming down outside and noticed things starting to wind down in the arcade. He sighed, filled with boredom, and played with the chain and charm of his necklace. Keeping his hands busy helped to keep the worst of his boredom away. Especially at work. He was polishing the wings when the door opened.

He looked up, the small smile on his face growing to an ear to ear grin as he saw it was Trixie. "Hey Trixie!" He greeted. "How was work? Did it get any busier?" He gazed out the window at the rain. "It's raining pretty hard huh? Not good flying weather. Especially if you're a fairy. Their wings get wet and they can't fly."

She laughed a little as he mentioned work. "Yeah, it got chaotic for a while. There was an emergency in the kitchen and I had to try and deal with that, and then I offered to help them out because they were so busy and because they still needed to clear up after the fire, so I cleaned up that mess, and then by the time I actually got back to doing my usual job, it was time to close up."

She tilted her head a little as he mentioned fairies, grinning. It took her far too long to adjust to rain when she arrived in this world- her back would ache, she'd avoid going out in it at all costs- and, eventually, she realised that it wasn't going to do her any harm any more. She still didn't like the rain, though.

"And god knows, when a fairy can't fly, they get upset. It's one way to upset a fairy, taking away their flight," she remarked, forcing herself to keep her smile in place. Peter's necklace caught her eye, and she leaned over and caught the charm to get a better look at it.

"Fairy wings!" She exclaimed, grinning and tilting them to catch the light. "Peter, you didn't steal a fairy's wings, did you?" She asked teasingly. "Because if there's one thing you don't want, it's a pissed off fairy."

She had to fake a laugh at his story. It all sounded... awfully familiar. Tiger Lily had been a great ally to her and Peter. There had only ever been one Peter on Neverland... Unless he was a Lost Boy that grew up and came here, and gave Peter's name as a fake name. Just like she did.

She listened to his story, nodding a little and running her hands through her hair. It was still damp, so she had to quickly brush them dry on her skirt. The talk of fairies calmed her down a bit. Yes, this was something she knew about. About missing friends and about fairies and Neverland. She was going to ask him about it- until he started telling the final story.

And then he said her name. Not her fake name. Tinker Bell.

Peter Pan was standing right in front of her. She couldn't breathe. Time seemed to stop. She forced herself to look down at her phone and forced a smile. "Oh shoot, I was supposed to meet Belle! I promised to help her out today, she's pretty busy at the minute, I guess books are more popular than people think. Bye Peter!" She said, shoving her phone back into her bag and hurried out of the arcade.

Back in Neverland, she'd only ever been able to experience one emotion at a time. But now, she was experiencing more emotions than she was normally used to. Joy at having found her best friend again. Confusion, because it wasn't as simple as best friends any more. Fear. She liked him and she didn't know if he liked her and she couldn't handle losing Peter again. Anger at herself for letting herself get into this mess.

She was crying now as she hurried down the street. She just wanted to go home. But not back to her apartment, back to Neverland, back to when things were easier. But she had no pixie dust and no wings. She was stuck here, in this terrible confusing place. She wasn't quite sure how she managed to get herself into the apartment without falling over anything, because her vision was blurred. But when she was in, she flopped down onto her bed and pulled out her phone.

To: Belle

Peter Pan was here. Peter Pan, her best friend, the person who had been stolen away by Wendy Darling, was here. In Enchantra.

ImageOne minute, Peter was talkin about Tink, grinning at the memory of his lost best friend. The next, Trixie was suddenly was out the door and down the street. She did toss a "Oh shoot, I was supposed to meet Belle! I promised to help her out today, she's pretty busy at the minute, I guess books are more popular than people think. Bye Peter!" over her shoulder. Peter wasn't angry. He was surprised and stared after her with a dumbfounded look on his face. As soon as he thought to call after her, she was long gone.

"Um.. Okay then." he said to himself. She actually left at the best time. Minutes after her departure, kids came streaming in. Peter looked up at the clock. Just after two in the afternoon. The school just down the block had released their students for the day and it was time for them to play. The most popular place for them was the arcade. Peter sighed and ran his hands through his hair. Looks like Peter would be busy for a few hours. Any conversation he would have with Trixie would have to wait until then. Luckily his job was a pretty good distraction.

Belle waited for his answer. Her pulse pounded in her ears so loudly she was worried she wouldn't be able to hear the answer. Then her phone went off, catching them both off guard. Instead of giving her a real answer, he invited her to dinner at his place and disappeared out into the rain. She stared at him a moment and then, after realizing it was still raining, chased after him with an umbrella she kept under the counter, but he was long gone. She frowned down the sidewalk. I hope he doesn't get sick with all this rain.. she thought as she worried at her thumb with her teeth.

Then she remembered her phone. She rushed into her shop to grab her phone and saw she had a text from Tink. She looked at the time and smiled a little. Tink has said she would stop by after work, but she hadn't shown which meant she had gone to visit Peter. As she wondered how that went, she opened the text to read it. What she read had her reaching for her bag and taking off down the sidewalk, barely remembering to lock the door behind her.

can you come over for tea later something happened and i need a chat

To Tink:
I'm omw

She raced down the sidewalk, trying not to slip on the wet concrete. Not only did her best friend need her, but she had to tell her what had just occurred. She was at Tink's door in a blink and she knocked quickly and loudly. "Tink! I'm here! Trixie Bell!" As soon as her friend opened the door, she'd envelope her in a hug and ask, "What's wrong? What happened? Are you okay? Are you hurt?" She'd look her over and once she was satisfied that she was physically unharmed, she would warp her friend in a blanket and make some tea as she explained what the rosepetals was going on.

"Of course we will, silly! It would take a lot to tear the two of us apart. Something like the end of the world- and even then, we'd probably make it through," Tink replied. As she thought, she blew out her breath in a puff, making her fringe flutter. Belle was much too sensible. Everything she was suggesting made so much sense. It was all simple. But was it too simple? Would telling Peter change things? Change their friendship? Part of her knew that Peter wouldn't run away or anything similar, that they were too close for that. But her life now was completely different to what it used to be. But... maybe it was time to change it up again.

She took out her phone and typed out a quick text.

To: Peter
Ugh, turns out Belle didn't need my help in the shop after all. Fancy grabbing something to eat when you're finished work? Picnic in the forest?

She set her phone down on the table. "Oh my god, I'm actually going to do it." She laughed a little. "If this all goes wrong, it's your fault," She added, grinning. She didn't miss Belle's glances at the clock.

"What's up? You got a date or something?" She asked teasingly, taking a mouthful out of her tea.

Image Belle laughed and agreed. "We're like beautiful cockroaches. Not even a nuclear bomb could take us out." She watched in interest as her friend pulled out her phone and typed something out. She hoped it was a text to Peter and practically squealed as she confessed. "Oh my god, I'm actually going to do it." She laughed and looked to Belle blaming her for things gone awry. "Well.. contrary wise" she started, pulling from Alice's vocabulary, "It could go right and you would have no one else to thank but me. Be sure to invite me to the wedding or whatever it is fairies have."

Another glance at the clock said she was near the "cutting it close" point. "What's up? You got a date or something?" her friends asked.

Belle pressed her lips together, fighting a smile. Then she couldn't contain it and broke into a grin. Which spread until her face grew warm and she hid behind her hands for a moment. Then she sighed, still smiling and confessed to her friend her own secret. "I'm supposed to have dinner with Aladdin tonight!" She fidgeted in excitement. "I was holding back until you were okay. I didn't want to steal any spotlight from you because you needed my help, but today Ali came by the shop and.. we kinda.." She felt like a silly school girl, but she couldn't really help it as she gushed. "We kissed and I asked 'why?' like an idiot and he said he'd explain everything tonight. At dinner. At his place."

"Oh, Tink! I'm so excited but I don't know what to wear. Want to come over and help me out before going to your date with Peter?" she asked with a wink.

ImagePeter gazed at the clock and sighed. There were still hours to go before it was time to close the arcade. It was one of the things Peter didn't like about growing up. Your time wasn't your own. He was tapping out a beat with a couple of pens when he felt his phone vibrate in his pocket. Thinking little of it, he pulled it out and gazed lazily at the screen. He had to read it a couple times in order for the words to sink in. A picnic with Trixie? he thought. A wide, childish grin broke out across his face and he typed back quickly.

To: Trixie
Sure thing! It's raining cats and dogs outside though so maybe an indoor picnic? Or we could go to the park and sit under one of the pavilions they have. I'm sure those will be dry.

He sat back in the chair that--thankfully--he was allowed to sit in while he was behind the counter. Growing up is a terror on the knees. The grin remained on his face as he watched the clock, happily doing whatever his customers needed of him until closing. Anything was better than sitting still now. Not that he could. He was practically bouncing with excitement. He needed time to move faster and the best time to loose track of time, was to keep busy.
