Jack's eyes began to open as he started to stir awake. He looked over to his left to see Vivienne resting rather adorably on his left arm as she was snuggled up asleep next to him. This sight caused an uncontrolable smile to swept across his face. He brushed a few strands of loose hair to get a better look at her flawless face. He wiggled his arm carefully from under her, making sure not to wake her up. He quickly threw on a pair of pajama bottoms, and left the bedroom as quietly as possible. He made his way to the kitchen to make some breakfast.
He began fixing pancakes for himself, and his sweet. He figured he'd score some points for making her breakfast in bed. Though he would probably do it just cause. He also mixed in some blueberries into the pancake batter as well, if only to show off his mad breakfast making skills. He fixed three pancakes, with another one on it's way. Two for him, and two for Viv. As he waited to flip the final pancake he heard his phone go off, signaling that he got a texted. He looked at his phone to see it was from Tommy, his best friend, and 'co-worker'.
[From: Tommy]
[Boss wants ya in today. We got some errands to run.]
[To: Tommy]
[Fine. Let me eat breakfast, and I'll be right in.]
Jack rolled his eyes, and sighed. "Damn, there goes my Saturday." He sighed in annoyance as he placed the final pancake on a plate. Jack placed the two plates of blueberry pancakes on a wooden tray, and poured Viv a glass of orange juice, and a glass of milk for himself. He glanced at the clock on his phone, and saw that it was around 7 a.m, and figured Viv would be waking up around this time. He quickly returned to their bedroom with breakfast in hand.
He entered the room, Viv still where he left her. He sat the tray of food on a nightstand next to the bed, and leaned over towards her. He gently kissed her sleeping lips, his thick mustache rubbing lightly against her mouth. "Hey babe, time to wake up. I made breakfast." He whispered in her ear. He began smooching on her cheek, and moved down her neck, trying to give her as pleasant of a wake up as possible. "Hey, I gotta go into the gym today. They got some new equipment, and need my help getting it in, and setting it up."
"I'm sorry, but I made blueberry pancakes. Forgive me?" He asked with a sweet smile, and of course a bit of flexing of his pecs.

- Vivienne was fast asleep at her fiancee's side, she had her arms tightly around his arm and a smile on her face as she slept. She had no idea why she was smiling though, probably because for once she got to sleep with the love of her life for the whole night without him getting up or coming in later when she was already fast asleep. She stirred a bit as she felt something start moving but, quickly fell back to sleep when the movement stopped. She had no idea that Jack had gotten up and it was probably for the best that she didn't realize he had gotten up without waking her up and kissing her. It would only make her even more self conscious and cynical about Jack and what he was up. First she thought he was cheating on her but, after finding that gun in their room she had no idea what to believe but, she couldn't just start an argument with him about it. She needed more proof that he was up to something. But, while she found more proof, she did have a wedding to plan. And before you say anything, yes. She did plan on marrying him until she was given a good reason to do otherwise like him being unfaithful or lying about something that was inexcusable.
All of these thoughts came to a stop as she felt someone's lips go against hers. She leaned in a bit before her love pulled away. "Hey babe, time to wake up. I made breakfast." She smirked at this as he kissed her cheek before smiling as he kissed her neck. She squirmed a little before finally opening her eyes and smiling up at Jack. She sat up, stretched her arms above her head and moved to Jack to give him a peck on the lips. "I knew there was a reason I loved a thirty year old Irish man." Sarcasm dripping in her voice as she smirked. She knew was going to be a good day, for the first time in a while she didn't schedule a mandatory practice of her jazz band or a class to teach them a new piece. Instead she decided to 'relax' for once and just enjoy the day with her future husband doing things that engaged couples did like... think about what they wanted at their wedding or more so, Vivienne describing what her vision of a perfect wedding would be while Jack either pretended to listen and agree like the childish jackass he was (and that she loved), or actually did listen and take notes in his mind, she didn't really know with Jack. Either way, today was going to be a good day. No work, non of his friends coming around, and non of him saying he had to leave for whatever reason--..
"Hey, I gotta go into the gym today. They got some new equipment, and need my help getting it in, and setting it up. I'm sorry, but I made blueberry pancakes. Forgive me?"
"Are fucking kidding me?" Her arms quickly fell to her side as she lost the playful smirk on her face. She scoffed and laughed at the same time as she shook her head as she looked at him flexing before speaking. "Stop flexing your muscles, Jack. You are not getting out of this one that easily and of course, there's a reason behind the breakfast," She said as fixed her silk black nightgown before getting out of bed walking right past her fiancee towards the closet. She opened the door and revealed her clothes and the full length mirror where she saw herself for the first time that morning. She sneered a bit at her reflection as she slid a few pieces of hair behind her ear and straightened out her night that stop right in the middle of her thigh.
She took a sharp sigh out as she looked back at Jack. "If you gotta go then go, baby. I'll go look at wedding shit on my own. I'll see you at whatever random hour of the night you be back." She swatted her hand towards the door before turned back towards her clothes and picking out a top, curve hugging jeans and her absolute favorite pair of red bottom heels. She tossed hung them up on the corner of the closet door as she looked at herself once more and undid her hair from its updo and clip that she had it it. She rubbed her fingers through her blonde locks as she let her hips sway side to side a bit, not even looking at Jack. She didn't want to make Jack feel bad--.. Actually, yes. Yes, she did. She wanted to make him feel bad about leaving her alone to go to work and if she had to tease him a bit, then so be it.
Jack gave Viv his saddest puppy dog look as she turned from his, and chewed him out a bit over him leaving today. "I can't stop flexing my muscles. They got a mind of their own, and everytime they're around you they just gotta dance." He smirked as he stood behind her, and wrapped his huge arms around her. "Don't be mad at me baby. I won't be gone but a few hours. I'll be back by noon, I promise." He pleaded in a whisper as he kissed the back of her neck, and rubbed his hands all over her hips.
"And then we can plan the wedding, and I'll agree with whatever you want." Jack stated, continuing to kiss her, hoping that it'll help calm her down. "Hey," He then lightly grasped her chin, and turned her head towards him. "I love you. And you know I'd rather spend time with you than be at the damn gym. I promise that when we get married this kinda thing won't happen. Ever." Jack stated in all truthfulness. He then gave her a deep, and passionate kiss, not caring if she was angry or not. "Admit it, I'm too lovable to be mad at." He smirked.
"I've got some time before I need to go in to eat breakfast. So you wanna talk about any planning? Anything at all? I'm ready, and willing to nod my head yes." He smirked as he let go of her, but not before he gave her one last big kiss on her cheek, if only to annoy her. Hey, he was already in the dog house, might as well make it his own. He sat down on the edge of the bed, and grabbed his plate of pancakes, and began tearing into them. "Feel free to continue changing. I won't stop you. Want me to play some 'Cherry Pie' by Warrent?" He smirked with a big, charming smile.
"Or 'Pour Some Sugar On Me' by Def Leppard. I'm flexible." He continued to try his luck. He's digging his grave all the way to China. It's a compulsion. Surprising that Viv hasn't either left him, or beat it out of him. He continued to eat his pancakes while enjoying the veiw of his beautiful future wife.

- "I can't stop flexing my muscles. They got a mind of their own, and every time they're around you they just gotta dance." She rolled her eyes as he wrapped his tattooed arms around her small waist. She had her arms crossed around her chest as she raised an eyebrow. "Yea, they're obviously not the only thing of yours with a mind of their own." She said as she looked at him through the mirror. It's quite funny actually, even though she was angry at him she could never pass up an opportunity to slid him a sly remark. "Don't be mad at me baby. I won't be gone but a few hours. I'll be back by noon, I promise." She stiffened a chuckle. "Sure." But, her angry composure was quickly replaced with annoyance as her arms fell to her sides as he kissed the base of her neck and let his hands roam around her hips as he spoke to her. "And then we can plan the wedding, and I'll agree with whatever you want." She sighed and bit her lip softly to hide her smile as she looked at the wood floors. It was hard for her to stay mad at him, not because he was some over sappy Casanova but because he was such a smart ass and knew exactly what to say to her to make crack at least a smirk. "Hey," She turned her head towards his direction with her eyebrows raised. "What?" She took a deep sigh in annoyance as he directed her to look towards him. She raised an eyebrow and went from his lips and his eyes as she looked at him. "I love you. And you know I'd rather spend time with you than be at the damn gym. I promise that when we get married this kinda thing won't happen. Ever." She looked into his eyes to see if he was lying but, he seemed to be telling the truth. She took a sharp sigh and was about to speak but, before she was given the chance Jack was kissing her. She sighed as she turned towards him and put her small hand on his wrist.
When he pulled away, she just groaned as she turned away from him and back to the closet mirror. She had to admit, even if he pissed her off... He was pretty amazing or at least he was to her.
"Admit it, I'm too lovable to be mad at." Of course, he had to push it. She just rolled her eyes as she smirked. "Lovable wasn't the word I was thinking of. You're just lucky that you're sexy." She turned back towards him with a smirk. "I've got some time before I need to go in to eat breakfast. So you wanna talk about any planning? Anything at all? I'm ready, and willing to nod my head yes." She rolled her eyes before pushing him away from her after he kissed her cheek. She groaned as she wiped her check and watched him walk back towards their bed to start eating. "Feel free to continue changing. I won't stop you. Want me to play some 'Cherry Pie' by Warrent?" She rolled her eyes once more as she had her hands on her hips. "Or 'Pour Some Sugar On Me' by Def Leppard. I'm flexible." She nodded with her eyebrows raised as reached in one drawer for a bra which she laid in front of her before sliding off her night gown and tossing it on Jack's head. "Funny, I was thinking more like 'Paradise City' by Guns and Roses" She still didn't realize that it was pronounced 'Guns n' roses' not 'Guns and Roses'.
She chuckled as she started to change into her undergarments and then her leggings. She jumped a bit to slid them on before putting on her top, not even worrying about if Jack was looking at her or not. There was nothing she had to hide from him, he's seen everything after being with her for so long. After finger combing her hair and checking herself in the mirror for almost the thousandth time, she walked to the bed and sat down next to her baby as she reached for the pancakes and started to eat. She laid her legs on his lap as she moved closer to him and kissed his cheek. "You promise you'll be back by noon, baby and then you're all mine for the rest of the day?"
Jack slightly chuckled at her mispronouncing Guns n' Roses. He just adored her accent, even when she's mad at him. It's one in a long list of the many things that he loves about her. Once she was done changing she sat down on his lap. "You promise you'll be back by noon, baby and then you're all mine for the rest of the day?" She asked him after she began eating, and gave him a peck on his cheek. "I promise." He replied with a smile. "By noon I will just throw their crap in the gym, and let them struggle by themselves. And then for the rest of the day I'm but your humble servant my queen." He said with the most charming smile he could muster, and gave her a soft kiss on her hand.
"So ya got a guest list yet? I know of only a hand full of people for my section." He asked. Actually there's only one person he can think of that he wants to be there, and that's Tommy. Tommy Gunderson is Jack's best friend, more like brother actually. They grew up together in the orphanage, and have been partner's in crime ever since, both literally, and figuratively. And he's about the only one of his 'friends' that he trusts to be around Viv. They've been through thick, and thin together.
He soon finished his pancakes, and watched as Viv ate her's. "Anything else we need to discuss? You know me, I'm more of a 'in the moment' guy. So I don't much planning." He asked as he moved her legs off his lap. He hopped up, and shuffled through his small corner of the closet. He didn't have a whole lot of clothes, just enough for a week's worth. And even then they pretty much look the same. He's not one for fancy clothes. He just likes to wear what's comfortable.
He soon picked out his usual attire in a white t-shirt, and jeans. He took off his pajama bottoms, and boxer's to replace them for a fresh pair. He of course didn't care that Viv was in there watching him. He's got no shame. After all he makes a living of rolling around on a mat with sweaty, half naked muscular guys. So not much embarrasses him. Granite he does have to punch them, and get punched. A lot. He got his jeans on, and grabbed a pair of socks, and his boots. He sat down on the bed, and put on his socks, and boots. He looked over at Viv, and smiled. "How'd I get so lucky? Or do you have poor standards?"

- "By noon I will just throw their crap in the gym, and let them struggle by themselves. And then for the rest of the day I'm but your humble servant my queen." As he kissed her hand, she just let a smile form slowly on her face. "Queen. I could get used to that." The young woman said as she softly took back her hand and put it along his jaw with her thumb slowly rubbing against his cheek. "So ya got a guest list yet? I know of only a hand full of people for my section." She fake pout as started to talk in her baby voice. "Oh, what's the matter? The ill tempered and stubborn Irishman doesn't have any friends?" She batted her eyelashes as she continued to pout before smirking and grabbing her phone from the nightstand near his side of the bed and setting down her food.
She laid her head back on the bed as she looked over the list of guests they were thinking of inviting, the first was, of course Tommy. He was just like Jack, which for Vivi, could be good and bad it sort of depended on the day and if she was in the mood. Other than him most, if not all of the people on the list were for Vivienne; students, friends, work friends, and even her family. Her twin sister, Candice promised to come not matter what which was great, as did her older brother, Jon which was less than great since he was overly protective just like Jack and never allowed her to be with someone without his permission. Needless to say she rarely listened to him and she wouldn't start now whether he liked Jack or not. Now, her parents were a different story. Her mother, Annette wanted to come but, she refused to come with out her husband and Vivi's father aka the asshole who has refused to speak to her and disowned with she decided to move to the states to have a better and more independent life nearly nine or ten years ago. Hell, they didn't even known she had met someone, so to say the least the whole wedding thing came to a surprise. She didn't even have the chance to speak to him over the phone stating that he would never talk to her again. He also had a few other choices words for her and the man who was spineless enough to marry a 'woman like her', but you can't really translate those into English.
She cleared her throat before turning her eyes to Jack. "Well, yes... and no. Well, mostly yes. I have the whole list down. Tommy's of course coming, my sister and brother are coming, my students want to play us some special original song they've been writing behind my back," She raised an eyebrow and shook her head. She hated not having control especially of her students' choice of music and even more so at her wedding. So, yes it was driving her up a wall. She let her arms fall to her side before rubbing her eyes and yawning. "And I talked to my parents. Now, my mother said yes but, papa said... How would I translate this?" She thought about it before continuing. "Oh! 'Not in a thousand lifetimes' or something around those lines. And, my mom refuses to come without him but, she said she would talk to him and try to persuade him into coming."
"Anything else we need to discuss? You know me, I'm more of a 'in the moment' guy. So I don't much planning." She watched him move her legs softly off of his lap as he moved to their closet. She brought her legs back up to the bed before rolling eyes. "Yea, I know and I hate it. But, yea there's tons to get done, at least for me. We have cake tasting which I checked, they can bake with alcohol which is amazing. We also have to look at the flowers, if I have to go, so do you. So you're going. We have to plan a food tasting, a.k.a the part where we get a free and fancy meal," By this point she was looking up at the ceiling and talking to herself more than to Jack in particular. " I need to mail out our invitations, get my dress, and of course," She turned from her back to her stomach as she turn her blue and green eyes towards Jack.
"Get my oh so sexy new husband a goddamn amazing wedding night gift." She purred before smirking and biting her lip softly. She could never just talk. Everything that came out of her mouth towards Jack either had to be a backhanded compliment, a sexual comment, her telling him to do something, her yelling at him, or her just being as big as an ass as him. Their relationship really revolved around their witty retorts. Sure, they had their romantic moments and she loved them almost as much as she loved him but, nothing made a relationship better than being able to joke around which was something they were both comfortable with doing. Just as she finished speaking, Jack started to get changed which lead to a Cheshire like grin spreading on her face as she let out a wolf whistle. She chuckled only to stop when he started to head back to the bed to put his shoes on. She sat back up and put her feet on the ground as she looked at him. She took a deep sigh as she looked at him, sort of in awe. She still couldn't believe the guy she spilled coffee on in the early stage of their relationship, twice! Was the guy she was going to marry. She snapped back to it when he looked at her and smile. "What?"
"How'd I get so lucky? Or do you have poor standards?" She chuckled. "I think it's probably a mixture of both." She smirked before moving herself on to his lap and kissing him with more passion than any other kiss this morning with her hands lying on his jaw. When she moved away, she left her forehead on his. "I love you."
Jack looked into her eyes, and smiled as she rest her forehead on his. "I know." He smirked with a playful grin at his Star Wars reference. "I love you too. I love you more than anything." He said in all seriousness. He got up, and kissed her forehead before he started for the door. "I'll be back at noon. Promise." He said with a smile before he left the room. He headed for the front door, but not before he stopped, and grabbed his leather jacket out of the closet next to the door. He grabbed his car keys, and was out the door.
Jack grabbed a cigarette out of his jacket pocket, and his zippo lighter out of the other one. He lite up, and went on to his car. His car was a black 1969 Ford Mustang. He ran his fingers on her flawless hood as he moved to the driver's seat. He loved his car. He started her up, and listened as the engine purred. He exhaled some smoke, and started to drive away from their townhouse. He revved up her powerful engine pretty loudly just because he could as he went. He's bit of a dick like that.
It didn't take but fifthteen minutes for him to arrive at the gym where he 'works' at. They lived pretty close by. He parked in front of the gym, and stared up at the sign. Lucky's it said on a big ol' four leaf clover. He's not sure whether it's racist, funny, or stupid as a front for the Irish mob. He's leaning towards all the above. He walked in through the front doors, and got a big whiff of the gym's smell. It smelled like sweat, and hard worked. It's something he's pretty used to by now, and barely even noticed it.
As he walked through the gym all the people working out stopped as he walked by, and gave him a nod, clearly showing that he was pretty well respected. Not bad for an Irish bastard like himself. He made his way to the back office. Outside the door was a man leaning against the wall next to it. The man was about the same size as Jack, but not as muscular, having more of a wiry frame to him than straight up muscle. Even with equally dark hair. This was Tommy. "Hey ya bitch." Jack called out as he, and Tommy locked arms.
"What's up prick. Tommy replied. The two have a tendency of calling each other such names. Though neither means it of course. "Viv was pissed at ya for calling me in." Jack smirked. "Was?" He asked. "Well, until I put on the charm to smooth things over." He added with a smug smile. "Right, cause you're soooo charming." He made sure to emphasize on the so. "Yeah, well who's going to marry a center fold? Yeah that's what I thought bitch." He smirked. "Now come on, let's get this over with. I promised I'd be back by noon." Jack said as he opened the office door. Tommy made whipping sound, and Jack stuck up his middle finger in response.
When they entered the office there was already three other guys, and one older man behind a desk. Jack gave a respectful nod to the older man behind the desk, and took his place among the other men along with Tommy. "Jack, nice of ya to join us lad." The older man said, with his thick Irish accent. "Sorry Lucky, sir. It's just...I was with Viv, and-" "No need to explain boyo. I've been married my share of times. Brassers, all of them." Lucky interrupted. "Umm...ok." Jack replied, not quite sure of what a 'Brasser' is. Sometimes it's difficult for him to decipher his Irish slang, even if he's been around him for years.
"So boss what do ya need me for?" He asked, rather anxious to return to Viv. "Right, some meth heads haven't been paying their fees for dealing in our town. You lot are gonna go, and remind them of this." Lucky ordered. "So do we get to bring out boom sticks or do you want us to just beat until candy comes out?" Jack asked. "Nah, you, and Tommy-boy here just need to show up, and do your fighting thing."
Jack, and the other guys gave him a nod, and left the office. They all went to their respected cars, and followed behind Tommy as he led them to the house where the meth dealers were holed up. It took them a good twenty minutes before they made it to the beaten up looking house. They all exited their cars, and went up to the pouch of the house. Tommy, and one of the other men stood on one side of the door, and the other two on the other side. Jack stood in front of the door, and kicked in the door.
Jack was the first one inside, followed by the others in a very professional, almost military like manner. Jack surveyed the area, and found no one inside, and no sign that anyone has in awhile. He quickly turned around to see the three guy's guns trained on him, and Tommy standing in the center of it, unable to look Jack in the face. "What's up buddy? Is this about me calling you bitch?" Jack asked, with a somewhat serious tone. "I'm sorry man. I don't want to do this Jack. But orders are orders."
"So Lucky ordered you guys to cut me down? After everything I've done for this organization, this is how you treat me?" Jack asked, with a very hurt expression on his face. "Jack, he knows you plan on leaving after your wedding. We can't let that happen. You know too much." Tommy replied, almost on the verge of tears. "That's shit, and you all know it. Fine, just let me....just let me call Viv. I want to say goodbye. Please, you guys owe me that much." Jack pleaded.
Tommy gave him a nod, and pulled out his cell phone. Tommy walked over to hand Jack the phone. "For the recond, I don't blame you brother." Jack sighed as he reached for the phone. "And I hope you don't blame me for this." Jack grabbed Tommy's arm, and quickly twisted it behind his back, holding Tommy in front of him. "Dammnit Jack! You have no idea what you're stepping into here! You're not just playing with your life, but Viv's too!" Tommy groaned. "I know. I'm not as dumb as you guys think." Jack then pulled out the gun that was holstered in the back of Tommy's pants, and quickly shot the other guys in the head.
As soon as the final one fell Tommy pushed Jack backwards into a wall, forcing his grip on him to be released. Tommy turned around, and swiped away the gun out of his hand. Tommy brought up a punch to Jack's face, but Jack quickly blocked it, and punched him several times in his stomach before he backed up. Jack then rushed towards him, and used the wall to gain some leverage on him by jumping off it, and punching him in the face. Tommy staggered back a bit before he moved back forward to try, and punch him again. Jack grabbed him by the wrist, and twisted it before he did a hip toss, bringing Tommy to the ground.
Once he was on his back, Jack twisted his arm, and put him into a triangle hold. Tommy struggled quite a bit before he finally stopped, and fell limp. Jack released him, and hopped up off the ground. He kneeled down on the ground to check Tommy's pulse to make sure he was still alive, and he was. He was slightly relieved. He was still like a brother to him, and didn't want to kill him after all. Jack stomped on Tommy's phone before he left the house, as he heard sirens far off in the distance. He quickly returned to his car, and got the hell out of there.
He grabbed his phone, and called Viv. "Come on, come on." He said as he heard it ring. "Viv! Listen there's not enough time to explain, but go to the bedroom closet, and in the back is a false panel, it should feel loose. Inside is a duffle bag full of money, along with a shotgun, and a box of rounds. I'll explain everything later, just get those out, and lock the door, and close all the curtains. Do not answer the door unlease it is me. Do not open the door unless it is me." He ordered. "Please, you have to trust me on this."

- As he looked at her, all she could was the same thing. She ran her hands through his hair as he smiled towards her. "I know." She just scoffed as she softly pushed his head with a smirk on her face, matching his own. "I love you too. I love you more than anything." A sincere smile crawled on to her face as she kissed him one last time before getting up with him and standing right in front of him, looking at him as if she was losing him. She always looked like this when they said goodbye to each other even if it was only for a few hours, she still felt like something or someone was going to get in the way of him returning to her. Ever since Vivienne had become suspicious, she's felt like any day now he would leave her a voicemail or something saying they couldn't be together or that he's moved on even if she had no reason to feel like this. She smiled as he kissed her forehead and walked to the door. "I'll be back at noon. Promise."
"Okay, love you." She said once more before watching him leave the room and hearing him go down the stairs. She sighed as she turned to the window to see him get in his car and rev the engine. She chuckled softly, rolled her eyes, and shook her head before closing the curtain and heading to the bathroom as she could hear the car getting further and further away. She opened their cabinet and took out her four daily medicines, letting them sit in her hand as she filled the mug that she always left there with water. She put the four pills in her mouth as she chugged down the water and coughed a little before wiping her mouth. She decided that the best thing she could do to past the time is actually take a shower and get ready for the day instead of just putting on her clothes. She turned the hot water on and slid into the shower. About ten minutes later, she was out with her hair wrapped and a towel wrapped tightly around her body as she exited the room with her clothes in hand. She heard her phone ringing next to where she had sat her clothes down as she saw it was her twin sister, who had been calling nonstop since hearing about the engagement. She groaned as she picked up the phone and put it on speaker. "Hi, Candice."
"Uh-oh, what's wrong? Someone not get their daily dose of their Jack-Jack." Wow, someone was getting straight to the point. She knew her sister would pick up on the tone of her voice only because they were twins, when one was upset the other could feel it. "What, nothing." Vivienne said as she started the air dry her hair. "It's not nothing, it's something. So, what is it? He go off to meet his sexier mistress?" Candice was being sarcastic, of course. Always messing with Vivi about her thoughts that Jack was cheating on her. Candice thought she was crazy, she saw that Jack was crazy about his fiancee. Hell, a blind person could tell how crazy about her he was and she was no different. Vivienne probably loved him more than most people, parents included even if the older twin wouldn't admit it."Candice!" Vivienne said into the phone as she could just feel her sister smirking. "What? Oh come Vivi, I'm just trying to make you laugh. But, seriously what's going on?" Vivienne sat on the bed as she grabbed her phone and put it close to her face. "It's just, I don't know. I feel like he's hiding something--.."
"Or someone." Candice interrupted. "Candice!" Vivienne yelled as she heard her sister laughing on the other line. "Okay, okay, sorry. You just made that too easy but, go on.." Viv just rolled her eyes. "I just feel like I'm losing him and there's nothing I can do about it. I am not used to feel so self conscious, and afraid, but, the closer it gets to wedding the more I feel like he might leave me." Vivienne finally admitted it as she ran her fingers through her hair only to hear her sister sigh. "You're just getting paranoid. Jack adores you and you know that. And, you really feel like he's gonna leave or something then just give him a reason no to, y'know?"
"Okay? Meaning...?" Candice just groaned. "Oh my god! You do it all the time, seriously all the time. Just sit on his lap, kiss him a little, show him what he would miss if he did leave. Or, better yet here's a foolproof plan. Ready to hear it? Be--.." Candice asked in a serious tone, pausing for dramatic effect. "Honest! Swallow your pride for once and just tell him, 'Hey, I feel like I'm losing you or something.' I don't care what you say but, just tell him how you feel. You don't have to hold your own all the time, Vivi and I can assure you if you did tell him he wouldn't think any less of you. You know why? Because, He. Loves. You. And another thing--.."
"Babe, who are you on the phone with?" Vivienne raised an eyebrow as she heard the overly deep voice interrupt her sisters little monologue. "Who was that?" Vivienne asked. "No one, don't worry about it. I'll call you later and we are not done with the conversation." Before Vivienne could even say anything her sister hung up and left her alone in the silence. She just looked at her phone for a second before groaning and laying down on the bed, not caring if her hair was getting the sheets wet. God, her sister was a mess. But, she did make a good point, not about Vivienne swallowing her pride. That was just crazy talk, the last thing she needed was Jack thinking she was just trying to be needy or something along those lines. But, the part where she said to show him what he would miss if he actually did want to leave her. It never even crossed her mind that maybe she was just being a bit paranoid and cynical.
Vivienne got up from the bed and walked over to their closet to pick out something a little nicer than a pair of leggings and a white tank top and jacket. She went to her dresses and started to look through them to see which one just caught her eye. Unlike Jack, she had tons of clothes, for every possible occasion she had an outfit for, mostly made up of black dresses for when she was conducting her band or in classes. She grabbed out a white dress that was lace and see through in the top half that she 'borrowed' from her sister. She looked at it with a small smile, as if she was contemplating. She tilted her head to the side before smiling and changing. She tossed the towels into the hamper near the door as she looked at herself in the full length mirror before walking to the bathroom to fix her pair and put on her makeup. Looking at the time it was on twenty minutes since Jacob had left, if not fifteen. So, she wasn't even worried about him coming back home to see her with only half her face done. That had happened one too many times and she wasn't gonna let it happen again. She put some moose in her hair to make it not so frizzy as she fixed her natural curls to one side.
Within ten more minutes, she was put on the finishing touches as she heard her phone start ringing. She walked over to it and raised an eyebrow as she saw the picture of her and Jack at a Red Sox baseball game back when she was around the age of twenty pop on the screen. Wasn't he busy lifting or moving or whatever? Before she could even say the smart ass remark she had in her head he was talking. Do not answer the door unless it is me. Do not open the door unless it is me." She swallowed a lump in her throat before shaking her head and rolling her eyes. "What the fuck are talking about, Jack? This isn't funny." She asked, as if he had finally gone off the deep end. But, even if he was, she did find herself heading down the stairs to the front door as he spoke. "Please, you have to trust me on this." She wasn't used to him sounded so... serious and she wasn't used to him sort of, demanding her to do things. "Jack, what's going on?" She locked the front door and hurried to the back to lock that one as well. She quickly rushed up the stairs to see if he was telling the truth about the panel. She had seen the gun but, most men kept a gun in the house just in case something was to happen but, if she saw that money and the shotgun with her own two eyes she wouldn't know what to believe.
She rushed into their room and into closet as she set her phone down and moved towards the back panels. She moved a few to see if any would move and after a moment nothing. She rolled her eyes as she touched the last on only to see it budge. She cleared her throat as she removed it to see nothing less than the duffle bag. She was hesitant to reach for it but, knew she had to sooner or later. She pulled it out, grunting a bit at how heavy it was as set it next to her. "Jack, what the hell are you doing with this? And in our house?! What am I suppose to do with this and where are you?" She asked as she pulled the phone back to her ear, her voice shaking as she started to load the gun. It was one thing her brother did teach her before she moved to the states, how to load and shoot a gun even if she wasn't the best, she knew enough not to get herself killed.
"Look baby I'll explain everything later, but for now you just need to do as I say. You need to trust me." He pleaded as he drove, weaving around the other cars in traffic. "Just...just pack as much stuff as you can get. Clothes, whatever. We....we can't stay." He added. He realized how insane this was to ask his beloved to just drop everything, and go with off with him with little explanation like this. But she just has to trust him, he won't let anything happen to her. "I'm almost there. I'll explain everything when we leave. Just be ready." He said, and then he hung up the phone.
Jack started to turn onto the street of their home, but he saw a couple of suspicious looking cars parking on the street in front of their home. He recognized the vehicles as those of a few guys that works for Lucky. He parked the car at the corner, and pulled out his pistol. He made sure the clip was loaded, and cocked it. He was ready for anything. He quietly exited his car, and snuck his way across the street without being noticed. Meanwhile the men in the cars got out and made their way to the front door. There was only two of them, and both had a pistol hidden on them.
"Ya sure this broad would know where Jack is? How can we even say Jack's still alive?" One of the men asked the other. "We were supposed to be called as soon as Jack was dead. The boss said if he made it out alive, he wouldn't leave her behind." The other man stated as he pounded on the door. "Well that seems stupid. Why wouldn't he just skip town?" The other whispered, low enough for them not to be heard outside the door incase it was about to be answered. Jack meanwhile was sliently sneaking behind them.
He fliped out his butterfly knife, and continued to sneak up on them. "Got me. Don't care how good she is in the sack, I'm not risking my ass for any bitch." The man replied. Jack glared at the men before he striked. He was gonna make this hurt. He quickly put the closet one to him in a sleeper hold before he stabbed him several times into the side, with the brutality of a prison shanking. "Son of a bitch!" The other yelled as he turned to see all this. Jack tossed the dead body of his former companion aside.
The man struggled to draw his gun, obviously scared out of his wits. Jack grabbed the man's arm before he could completely draw, and point his gun at him. Jack snapped his arm almost as if it was a twig. The man cringed in pain, and released his grip on the gun. Jack caught the gun before it hit the ground, and used it to pistol whip the man. Jack unloaded the gun, and popped the one out of the chamber. The man started to get back up, but Jack pistol whipped him again, this time more viciously. He tossed the gun aside, and grabbed the man by his hair, and began pounding his face into the concrete steps outside their home.
He continued to pound his head into the steps, blood spewing everywhere. "You think you can do this shit to me bitch?! I'll kill ever last one of you bastards!" He snarled as he continued to pound his head into a bloody pulp. "When you're in hell make sure they have a few more spots ready!" He released the man, and wiped the blood off his face with his hand. He then wiped the blood off of his hands, and onto the dead man's pants. He let out a sigh as he looked over his handy work. It's not gonna be fun explaining all this to Viv.

- Vivienne was pretty much hunched in a ball in the middle of their closet as she spoke to Jack on the phone. "Look baby I'll explain everything later, but for now you just need to do as I say. You need to trust me. Just...just pack as much stuff as you can get. Clothes, whatever. We....we can't stay." She was going to object but, before she had the chance to say anything he hung up the phone. She set the gun down as she took a moment to take a deep breath and comprehend everything that was happening. Jack, the love of her life was telling her to get a gun and some cash from behind their closet and pack up everything just so they could take off to some unknown location?! To pretty much leave her whole life, her job, her students, and awards behind for some unknown reason that he won't just tell her. This was crazy. She just sort of sat in the spot for a moment as she heard a pound at the door. She slowly got up as she walked out of the closet to their bedroom. She could feel a lump in her stomach as she started to walk towards their bedroom door only to hear it stop. Jack had a key, it was his house just as much as it was hers. He knew where she hid the extra key, so why would he need to knock so loud, and why did the knocking just stop out of nowhere.
She cleared her throat as she grabbed a duffle bag from out from under their bed as she set it on the bed and started to fill it. First with her computer and charger and phone chargers and then with clothing for the both of them. She wasn't even paying attention to what she was packing as she just stuffed clothes, shoes, and poured any other important things like a necklace from her mother in the bag before zipping it and grabbing her small carry-on. She hurried to the bathroom and grabbed all of her medicines before putting them in the bag along with her contacts and glasses. As she looked at two bags and one in the closet, she took a deep breath as she made sure she had everything. She nodded as she grabbed the two bags and the one on the closet as she walked down the stairs, stopping when she heard a struggle or something outside the door. She set the bags down in the front room as she slowly walked to the door to press her ear against the wood. "You think you can do this shit to me bitch?! I'll kill ever last one of you bastards! When you're in hell make sure they have a few more spots ready!" She moved her head as she recognized her fiancee's voice but, not his tone. She wasn't used to hearing him so angry, sure he had anger problems but, she never really heard him when he got mad. So, it was a surprise to hear him like that with what sounded like a pounding against something in the background.
She took a deep breath as she back away from the door with her hand on the knob. She cleared her throat before opening the door and covering her mouth to see the scene of her baby, her love, her everything over two dead body. She couldn't even look at the two men on the floor as she look Jack in the eyes as she shook her head. She back away from him as she pointed towards him."Stay the fuck away from me. Don't you fucking touch me." She almost tripped over one of the bags as she back away. Her breath weakly as she wiped her face with her hands. She opened her mouth as if she was trying to say something but, see was speechless. She covered her eyes as she tried to calm down her breathing. "YA zaymayusya v trakhanyy vbyvtsya." (Translation : I am engaged to a fucking killer) She said in her native tongue under her breath. She took a deep breath as she looked at Jack. "What the fuck is going on? W--What is all over this? What is wrong with you?!" She asked as she looked him up and down, he didn't even look like the man she was going to spend the rest of her life with anymore. He wasn't the same man who she had woken up next to that morning. Instead he was a blood splattered, assumed killer who no more than a stranger she was staring at with her eyes full of fear, hurt, angry, and confusion.
Jack's heart just stopped when Vivienne opened the door to see what he has done. Sure, the best case scenario was, at this point for her to see the bodies on the rush out. He didn't really think this all the way through. He tried to think of what to say, how to explain all this to her. He was drawing a blank. He tried to go over to her to confort her, or something, but his advances were quickly shut down when she yelled at him to stay back. He backed off, and held his hands up to hopefully make her feel safer.
Jack began to calm down as the adrenaline rush began to die down. "Look, I'll explain everything later, but now isn't the time. You're in danger. We've got to leave." He stated in a calm tone. He had to keep a level head about everything. "I've got a few things that I need to grab before we leave." He said as he made his way to the kitchen. He rummaged through the liquor cabinet, and grabbed several bottles of whiskey, and other such drinks. He also picked up several dish towels as well. He put the towels in the bottles to make some homemade fire bombs. He placed them in a plastic bag, and returned to Viv.
"I know....after seeing....all that you don't want to be anywhere near me. But I promise you those guys had it coming." He said with a clear note of desperation. "Please...just trust me. I love you more than anything in the world. I would never hurt you." He pleaded. He placed his hand on her shoulder in hopes that it would provide some sort of comfort to her. He's been dreading this day ever since he met her. He knew it was a pipe dream, but he had hoped that maybe, just maybe he could keep it from her, and get out clean.
He cracked the door open to see two blacked out SUVs coming down the streets. "Shit." He groaned. He grabbed the shotgun, and pumped it, making sure it was ready to be fired. "I parked down the street, and around the corner. I'll cover you while you run to the car." He could have given her a gun or something but he didn't want her in anymore danger than she is already in. "Whatever happens, don't look back, no matter what."

- Her eyes were shooting daggers at him to stay away from her as he kept his hands up. When he entered the house and closed the door behind him, she back up just a little more not once taking her glare off of him. "Look, I'll explain everything later, but now isn't the time. You're in danger. We've got to leave." She raised an eyebrow. "I've got a few things that I need to grab before we leave." She looked up at the ceiling, cursing to herself before following him to the kitchen. "What do you mean I'm in dan-.." Cutting herself off as she saw him grabbing all the alcohol they had in their house along with rags. "What the hell are you doing? And why am I in danger? The young lady said as she watched Jack, if that was his real name stuff the bottles and put them in a bag before walking right in front of her. Her eyes went to the bag back to the man in front of her. [n]"I know....after seeing....all that you don't want to be anywhere near me.[/b] Yea, no shit was the only thing that went through her head. But I promise you those guys had it coming." She scoffed as she threw her hand in the direction of the front door. "They deserved it? So, that makes it okay to kill them on the--on the pavement?! In front of our house? Not just putting you in danger but me as well. Jack do you not hear how crazy you s--.."
"Please...just trust me. I love you more than anything in the world. I would never hurt you." She looked at the hand he laid on her shoulder before scoffing and throwing her hands up in frustration. She moved the hand as she got in his face for a minute. "I honestly cannot even believe you anymore." She admitted as she looked towards the window and out the small section of the curtain that allowed her to look outside just as Jack looked out the door. "Shit. She took a deep breath as she ran her fingers through her hair. "What now?" When he picked up the gun, she kept her eye on it with a raised eyebrow towards her fiancee. "I parked down the street, and around the corner. I'll cover you while you run to the car." She looked towards the window to see the two black cars coming towards their house. "Whatever happens, don't look back, no matter what." She shook her head as grabbed his arm. "No, I can't just--.." She swallowed the lump in her throat as she had to think of the words in her head so she could actually say them through her thick accent. Looking in his eyes and see the pleading look, she took a deep breath before letting go of him and kicking off her heels. "Fine. I'm going to go through the back."
She looked down at the bag finally getting what he might be do with the bombs, or whatever they were before turning away and grabbing the lighter of the bags to hold. She rushed to the backyard door before looking back at him. "Don't get yourself killed, Jack" She ran out the door in her bare feet. It was moments like this that made Vivienne happy that she went behind her father's back to run track back in the 'home country', because even with the hearing the cars behind her and the sounds of things fly past her she shut it out as she sprinted towards the car. But, in a brief moment something grazed her leg that made her slow down. While it didn't go through her leg, it did hit her enough to make her slow down. Finally making it to the car she practically flew into the passenger seat before locking the doors and squatting down in case she heard anymore shots fired towards her. Her chest was heaving as brought her left leg up to the seat to see it bleeding rather badly and hear a rip of her dress ripping up the side. "Shit. Not only do I look like shit, but now he going to kill me for getting blood in his car." She caught her breath for a moment. "Vidminno , prosto vidminno." ("Perfect, just perfect") She grabbed a hold of the bag she had thrown down towards her feet once locking the door. She grabbed out a random piece of clothing as she wrapped it tightly around her thigh. God, just loved to test her, didn't he? Once it was tight, she let her leg down and looked up at the roof of the car. She turned around to see if she could see anything that was happening, but of course, she couldn't even look behind her in his car. She turned forward, still keeping her body down as she closed her eyes and let out a sigh. "Please, let him be okay." She bit her lip as she just waited for what felt like forever for someone to make their way to the car door.
Jack stared into her eyes with a look that said he'd be ok as she grabbed his arm. As soon as she left the house he sighed. He slid the plastic bag that held the molotov cocktails down his left arm, holding it at his elbow as he grasped his shotgun. He took his lighter out of his pocket, and held it in his mouth. He rushed out the door, and quickly took cover behind a neighbor's car, not paying any mind to the dead bodies he caused. He took his right hand off the grip of the gun, and pulled out one of his fire bombs.
He took a deep breath in, and exhaled as he lite the rag in the bottle. He popped up from behind the car, and threw the bottle at the windshield of the lead car. The bottle exploded into a fire ball upon impact, covering the front end of the windshield in flames. The car swerved, and slid into a stop. The SUV behind it stopped, barely enough time to avoid hitting the lead car. Jack took his shotgun, and shot the passanger about to get out of the lead car. He then focused his attention on the driver. He shot at him several times, but he jumped out as soon as Jack killed the passanger.
The occupants of the other car opened their doors, and started firing upon Jack. Jack hid behind the car as the bullets flew over head. He put his shotgun aside, and pulled out another molotov cocktail. He lite it up, and tossed it over his head. This bomb hit the top of the lead car's roof. Jack lite another cocktail, but this time he rolled the bottle underneath the cars. Once it was underneath the second car, Jack took his shotgun, and shot the bottle.
The bomb went off underneath the car, causing it to explode, and throwing the three men quite a ways. Jack staggered to get up, his ears began bleeding due to the explosion, and all he could hear was a high pitched ring. He brushed the bits of glass from the cars out of his hair. He quickly ran to his car to regroup with Vivienne. He was sweating quite a bit thanks to the adrenaline rush, which at this point was like a second wind. He rushed to the car, and nearly ripped the door off to open it.
He jumped in the driver's seat, threw his things in the back seat, and started the car up. His breathing was heavy, his eyes darted around, and blood dripped from his ears. He drove forward, and quickly did a u-turn, but he went forward enough for her to see his handly work. Once they were completely turned around he drove down the street in a hurry. His breathing began to normalize, and the ringing in his began to stop as the adrenaline rush wore off. He looked over at Vivienne, and saw she was bleeding. "Are you ok? You aren't hurt are you?" He asked in genuine concern.
As they drove more, and more sirens could be heard. Police, firefighters, ambulances, the whole nine yards. He drove carefully so they wouldn't draw any attention, which was pretty easy as they were busy heading to where the action was. "There's....there's things about me you don't know. Things about my job you don't know." He stated as he tried to think of a way to properly explain it. "The gym is a front.....for the Irish Mob." He said, followed by a deep gulp. "I am...I was a enforcer, a hitman for them."
"But I swear to you I was going to leave. As soon as we got married I'd be gone. That's why I've been so busy lately, I've been trying to keep on the boss's good side, and maybe he'd leave us alone." He explained. "But I guess they found out, and didn't like it. It was supposed to be a simple shake down. But it was actually meant to be my execution. But I'm the best." He wasn't sure if him being the best in the business was a good thing, or not. "I didn't want to drag you into this. I was hoping to get out clean. Because I love you, and.....I want to be the man you deserve."

- She couldn't even bring herself to look back even if she could see anything that was happening. She closed her eyes and started taking deep breaths and gulps. She could feel her anxiety raising as the loud bangs and pops continued. She was shaking, and just begging for all of this to just go away that it was just a dream and she was just going to wake up any minute next to the love of her life and they would laugh about how crazy it all was. But with every second that past she knew that wasn't going to happen. Before she could even think about anything else, she nearly jumped out of her seat when the door swung open, she slid her back to the door as she pulled her feet up ready to kick if need be. She didn't even move until the car started to move again and he did a u-turn. She turned her head to the side to see everything he had done. She had her hands in her hair as she softly scoffed, she turned back towards him and noticed the blood coming from his ear. She sat up straight, her back still pressed to the car door as he looked towards her. "Are you ok? You aren't hurt are you?" She scoffed once more before looking down at the blue shirt tightly tied around her thigh that had a medium size stain of blood seeping through before turning back towards him. "No, I'm not hurt. But, I am far from okay, Jack. In what, ten minutes? I have heard more explosions and gun shots than I have even heard and I am from Eastern Ukraine, I have seen my fiancee blow up two cars, I was shot in my leg, forced to leave my own home, and, oh yea, not to forget, saw my boyfriend, the man I am suppose to marry soon and the love of my life kill two people at our doorstep, and those are the only two I saw! Who knows how many people you have killed today!" She took a deep breath and cleared her throat, her eyes still shooting daggers towards him.
"So, I am going to ask you this and I am only going to ask you this one last time and I swear if you do not answer me, I will take off this ring, open this door, go to the police, and never talk to or see you again. Got it? Now, what's going on?" She said with one of her hands on the door handle just in case. "There's....there's things about me you don't know. Things about my job you don't know." She raised an eyebrow. "The gym is a front.....for the Irish Mob. I am...I was a enforcer, a hitman for them." Her mouth dropped as she shook her head softly. "You are a mob hitman?! Meaning you kill people for a living, right?"
I swear to you I was going to leave. As soon as we got married I'd be gone. That's why I've been so busy lately, I've been trying to keep on the boss's good side, and maybe he'd leave us alone. But I guess they found out, and didn't like it. It was supposed to be a simple shake down. But it was actually meant to be my execution. But I'm the best." She raised her eyebrows. "I really don't think that is something to be proud of." She interjected, pulling the handle of the car only to find out it had lock, probably after he had gone so fast to get away from their house. "I didn't want to drag you into this. I was hoping to get out clean. Because I love you, and... I want to be the man you deserve." She looked him in the eyes before taking a deep breath. She turned body forward, finally moving her back from against the door, but still having he legs lay next to her in the leather seat. She rubbed her face, smearing her makeup even more than she had when she was running to the car. The young woman laid a hand against her right temple as she leaned her elbow on the door. " Jack, you were the man I deserved, you were everything I needed and wanted in the man I was going to marry but, now I feel like I know nothing about you." She admitted as she looked at him with hurt and confusion in her eyes. I mean, shit. Jack, I don't want to make you mad at me because who knows what you'll do. But, what am I suppose to say to that? That I know that you've lied to me for years, kill people for a living, and just made me leave my whole life that I had to build from the ground up by myself behind. Pretty much making me a accomplice in the eyes of the law or just another victim if we're caught by your mob buddies but, that all okay, because you love me and were hoping to get out clean?" She sighed sharply as she turned towards the window, not really wanting to look at him now that she's said all that she had to say. She was inhaling and exhaling, trying to catch her breath from talking so much and so fast. Something she did a lot when she was angry, scared, or anxious. And right now she was a mixture of all three.
She shook her head as she looked out at the passing scenery as she shrugged softly. At least I know now you weren't cheating on me or maybe you are, I obviously don't know anything about you." She raised her eyebrows before lowering them. A couple of minutes went by and she didn't say a word but, if she was going to have to be on the run with him, like sort of reverse Bonnie and Clyde where they're the good guys running from the killers. She needed answers and she needed to know everything now. She slowly turned her head forward before lowering her eyes towards her shinning diamond ring. "So, do you mind tell me how you got involved in this in the first place?" She asked him as she looked at him out of the corner of her eye.
Jack prepared himself for the tongue lashing he was probably going to get from his beloved. " Jack, you were the man I deserved, you were everything I needed and wanted in the man I was going to marry but, now I feel like I know nothing about you." She admitted as she looked at him with hurt and confusion in her eyes. Jack looked forward, and tightened his grip on the steiring wheel, obviously a bit upset from her words. Of course he knew she was right.
"I mean, shit. Jack, I don't want to make you mad at me because who knows what you'll do. But, what am I suppose to say to that? That I know that you've lied to me for years, kill people for a living, and just made me leave my whole life that I had to build from the ground up by myself behind. Pretty much making me a accomplice in the eyes of the law or just another victim if we're caught by your mob buddies but, that all okay, because you love me and were hoping to get out clean?" She sighed sharply as she turned towards the window. Jack looked down slightly in a mixture of disappointment, and regret.
At least I know now you weren't cheating on me or maybe you are, I obviously don't know anything about you." She said with a raised eyebrow. Jack shook his head in confusion. "What? Look, I'd never do anything to hurt you. Ever. Everything I've done in the last few years was for you. I know....I know I'll never erase what I've done. I know what I am." He stated with a noticable note of pain in his voice. "Being with you, it's the first, and only thing I've wanted for myself. I...understand that you want to be as far away from me as possible. But for now you need to stay as close by as possible. Don't worry, I've got a few plans to get you out safely."
"So, do you mind tell me how you got involved in this in the first place?" She asked him as she looked at him out of the corner of her eye. Jack sighed at her question. "I'm guessing you wouldn't believe me when I said I had a poor guidance counselor huh?" He jokingly replied. He realized this wasn't the time for jokes. "It's not that interesting, and rather cliched. But if you really want to know, fine."
"You know where I grew up right? I don't like to talk about it, but you know I was an orphan right?" Jack explained. "Believe it or not, I wasn't the happiest kid going up. The nuns that ran the place didn't know what to do with me. Someone had the bright idea of sending me to work off my anger, channel it in the gym." He continued to explain. "That's where I first met them. They saw me, and I guess they liked what they saw. They started hiring me, and Tommy to do odd jobs for them."
"It was mostly just delivering packages across town. I was a pretty good mule, most cops didn't look twice at a kid on a bike." Jack said with a sigh. "Back then I didn't know what I was doing. They never told me what I was packing around for them. Then when I was in my late teens they told me what I was really doing for them. That was when I was rather big, and you know, ripped." He rubbed the back of his neck, and rolled his head, popping his neck. "So I started doing more, and more jobs for them. Despite what you might think of them, they were the closet thing I ever came to a family."
"I'm not going to pretend I'm a good man. I've lied, beaten, and killed people. Why? Because I thought it was for some stupid idea of family." He added with a sigh. "The guy that I mainly worked for, we call him Lucky, he's the closet thing I've ever had to a father, and Tommy is....was my brother. And this morning they tried to kill me. Tommy was going to pull the trigger too. And yet....when I got away, I had Tommy knocked out, helpless. I could've put a bullet in him too. But I just couldn't. I...don't know what I'll do if I come against Lucky."

- She had moved her eyes down to see the now blood soaked, large white tee-shirt. Meaning, it couldn't be hers seeing that was a small little lady all the way around aside from her hourglass curves in the places where they matter. So great, now she ruined one of his only shirts. Every little thing she did made her go on edge that he was going to snap on her, she hated feeling like at any second Jack could just go from 0 to 100 again. She never felt this on edge around him, she never had to but, now she had herself pushed to the door ready to jump out if need be. She kept her eyes on the rag as she listened to Jack speak. "What? Look, I'd never do anything to hurt you. Ever. Everything I've done in the last few years was for you. I know....I know I'll never erase what I've done. I know what I am. Being with you, it's the first, and only thing I've wanted for myself." She could feel his words pull on her heartstrings a bit and she had to face it. Even though the man she knew and fell for might not really exist, she couldn't just fall out of love with him. This man was the only person she had in her corner, for the longest time it felt like it was them against the world. He was the one that was by her side when she got her citizenship, the one that helped her learn English and never got irritated when she was having trouble, whenever she couldn't be strong and had to break down he was the one there to hold her and tell everything was going to be okay. She couldn't just throw all of that away. "I...understand that you want to be as far away from me as possible. But for now you need to stay as close by as possible. Don't worry, I've got a few plans to get you out safely."
When she asked him about he got started as a... hitman, Jesus she couldn't even wrap her mind around that. She kept looking at him from the corner of her eye. "I'm guessing you wouldn't believe me when I said I had a poor guidance counselor huh?" She briefly looked at him, the look in her green and blue eyes telling him it wasn't time for his annoying, but somewhat endearing humor. "It's not that interesting, and rather cliched. But if you really want to know, fine. You know where I grew up right? I don't like to talk about it, but you know I was an orphan right?" She nodded. "Of course."
So I started doing more, and more jobs for them. Despite what you might think of them, they were the closet thing I ever came to a family." She sighed while keeping her eyes down, not being able to look up at her fiancee as he continued. "I'm not going to pretend I'm a good man. I've lied, beaten, and killed people. Why? Because I thought it was for some stupid idea of family. The guy that I mainly worked for, we call him Lucky, he's the closet thing I've ever had to a father, and Tommy is....was my brother. But I just couldn't. I...don't know what I'll do if I come against Lucky." It was hard for her to just keep a stone look on her face. Don't get me wrong, she was far from forgiving the man and she was still angry, furious even but, whether she would admit it or not it was hard not to feel bad for him. It was enough for her to calm down and finally be able to talk to him like an actual human being. She moved her legs up to the seat with her, trying to hide the pain her eyes from the pain she had in her leg. She looked towards him as she took a deep breath."When or if that time comes, you'll know exactly what to do. I know it." She assured him as she inadvertently placed her hand on his arm. After a moment, she looked at her hand before pulling it back to her and shifting a bit in her seat before speaking. "Can at least tell me where we're heading or are we just driving around?"
