Introduction

Welcome to school, my fine, young, brilliant students. I am Headmaster Inkwell, here to guide those in need to a better, brighter future of writing. If you would like to offer your services as a teacher to the school, you must write a small story, (200-500 words) adequately showing you know your subject. This will all be done in the Character Bio screen. Students, need not enter anything at all, or as much as they wish about themselves, or their online personas.

Subjects will vary from basic sentence structure, to grammar rules and spelling basics. There will also be courses for learning proper etiquette for roleplaying, and basic to advanced guidelines to new roleplayers.

Students will have to pay a $350 tuition fee, and abide by the school handbook. Teachers will make $12.57 an hour, and be allowed a single one hour break each day for lunch and pleasantries.

Students caught breaking code rules will be punished with various lengths of detentions, leading up to suspension or expulsion if noncompliance continues.

We all hope you enjoy the new school year, and are ready to learn!

School hours are 8:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Might as well, no one is here, I'll try and lend what I know, though, as I've only been going on here for roundabout a year. Nonetheless, here's my generic list.

No God-modding
~Rather basic rule, try not to make a character that's just too perfect, too powerful, too much of anything to overwhelm the roleplay.

No Remote-Controlling
~Don't speak for someone else, don't act for them, just play as your characters. Wait for a response, THEN proceed.

Be Respectful
~Be nice, and respect an RP's rules, and those participating. You can have an asshole character, just don't be one to the writers behind it. Also, if you join an RP, respect the person enough to tell them you're leaving if you decide to quit.

There would be more, but these few are pretty big, and'll get you pretty far. If you want more, there's an OOC topic page in the Forums about something like this.
