In the begining, youkai and humans lived together. But those times are over, and a seal has been cast over by some miko to keep youkai away from humans and keep them safe. Now, youkai really don't remember those times, except a select few. Now, Youkainova is a bustling land, full of different kinds of youkai and amny different cultures. These youkai are just like humans, usally just with powers, or a few other things.
There are a few kindoms : The Tengu Queendom, led by Queen Ayanika Juika, The Night Sparrow Kingdom, led by King Harrim Garvemere, The Lupin Kingdom, led by Umbere Fereem, and the Undertownians, led by Society Leader Malikai Mathis, and the Nekomata Queendom, led by Queen Ai Neko.
They are split in two, Rivendale and Phantasmorgia. Rivendale, conisting of the capital of knowlage, is home to the Marks, a set of super youkai who are brothers. They call themselves the Librarians, and are the strongest in Rivendale, and then send out 'librarian knights,' which hunt and kill corrupt youkai.
On the other side, lies Phantasmorgia, which have a library of their own. The Hathinlins, which also kill corrupt youkai themselves, but they have many disputes over manyt things. The biggest problem is a book called MARK, which is in the possesion of the Marks, and is the "ultimate spellbook". The Marks believe that the book has too powerful magic, and needs to be stowed away to collect dust. The Hathinlins, however have a different story entirely. They believe that such powerful magic should not be wasted by dust, so they stole it from the Marks to use it. But in all that effort, the book was lost in Youkainova, both sides unsure of where it might be...

Well, with the characters, I have a few things to say~

Nekomata (Usally shikigami to the Marks)

Myu - Edvin's Nekomata (Taken)

Ai - Queen of the Nekomata Queendom

Notes on Nekomata - They are very bubbly and happy, and sometimes natiive. They are usally Shikigami to the Marks, or monks or nuns at shrines.
If you want to make a character that is a nekomata, you can have a name end with 'yu' or 'su', one) it's cute, two) it suits them, in my opinion.

The Marks -

Emin Mark - the studious one, very smart (Played by me)

Edwin Mark - the kind of 'normal-American' one, if that makes any sence (Empty)

Edvin Mark - the creepy one (Empty)

Ecludus Mark - the perverted one (Empty)

Notes on the Marks - Emin is the oldest of the four, and naggs them constantly. Ecludus is the next in age, even though he looks like the oldest, he's not. Edwin and Edvin are twins, Edwin is the light side and Edvin is the dark side.

The Hathilins -

Darkry Hathilin - The oldest, and the scariest (Empty)

Merrin Hathilin - The emo of the family (Empty)

Meriph Hathilin - The oddball (Empty)

Notes on the Hathilins - Darkry is the oldest (as I said) and Merrin and Meriph are twins, like Edwin and Edvin. The same as for the Marks, PM me first.


Lupins -

Auix/Altus - Has two different personalities, one evil one good. (Empty)

Umbere - King of Lupin Kingdom (Empty)
