Okay, so I was given a bit of inspiration recently and I guess I should put the idea out here. This would be best for a small group or 1x1 with multiple characters. So my idea is this:
Far in the future, man kind has depleted it's resources on earth. The have found a new Earth-like moon orbiting around a large gas giant and they have started the initial colonization of the moon. Technology has become very advanced and Terra-forming the moon went smoothly for the first 20 years... then came the attacks. The moon is home to a number of subterranean species almost as diverse as the species on Earth. The creatures destroyed an entire city in their first and most devastating attack. Decades have passed since the first attack and new generations of humans have been borne on this moon's colonies. However, many groups have begun to sympathize with the native creatures and have formed rebel camps in the wild and dangerous forests of the moon, some say they even live alongside the creatures.
It has now been almost 70 years since the first attack, the creatures still attack colonies but nothing remotely close to the first attack that buried the entire city, killing everyone in it. The creatures, who, up until this point, have come across as mindless killing beasts, now seem to be organizing their attacks. Is it possible that they aren't as mindless as the humans thought or are they being helped by the human rebels?
It still needs to be worked out into better detail, but I think this would be a good place to start if anyone is interested. A number of elements could be added to the plot and creature design is still pretty open right at the moment. I think this could be done well with a small LOYAL group or with 1x1 and turn out to be a really good RP. If you're interested or just have questions or ideas you'd like to add, PM me either here or check my profile for my discord information, I'm on both quite often.
I'm not saying the voices are real, I'm saying they have some good ideas.
