Lady Kage pused open the office door and saw Midnight sitting there.

"Oh, finished have you? Lets see the letter shall we?"

After she was handed the letter, Lady Kage gave it a quick look over before quickly ducking back into her office for a few seconds. When she reappeard, she was no longer holding the letter, but a pair of forehead protectors.

"You've got a choice. You can have either the head band with the Shadow Village logo on it, or the one that Kanzaki and Sanjuro have."

She held them both out for him to look at. The second head band had the same symbol that the Konoha headbands have, except that the left half was colored in completely black, to represent that they were part of the Shadow Village, but that they had originally came from Konoha.

"Unofficially, yes. But it won't be official until you go out on your first mission. There's a stack of scrolls on my desk of missions that need to be done. Right now, none of them are higher than low level C missions. But if you really want it to be official, feel fre to take on one of the boring missions and complete it."

She turned back to Izon.

"Sorry about that. Now, about your little friend."

Lady Kage gently place a hand on Izon's shoulder and began walking down the hall.

"He seemes to think that there is another great war coming on. Now, I'm not one to believe rumors, but that would be something that would not only be bad for the five great shinobi nations, but it would also be very bad for us. Because the first thing that everyone would to is come directly for us. They wouldn't want their secrest getting out to enemy countries."

“Why would a demon give warning of such a thing, I thought they like causing destruction,” He said as he scratched the left side of his face. What is he trying to do? “And if there were to be another war we’re allies with some of the other villages, so why would they attack us.”

"We may have a few allise, but we're a small village, ninja wise anyways. Our allies would have to send a good ammount of thier ninja so they feel safe. The problem is, all our allies aren't allies with each other. So we'd have our own little war right here. Plus that fact that even allies don't share screts like bloodline traits and forbidden techniques. And I can guarentee that the other villages wouldn't trust us to keep their screts. Hell, they don't even trust us now, the only thing that keeps us allies right now is the fear they have of us betraying them."

Lady Kage didn't speak again until they reached the food stand.

"So, what do you think of all this Izon?"

“I think we need to find out if he is telling the truth or lying to us,” Izon took a seat at the food stand, “But how would we go about drawing him out in order to do so I know not how.”

A young lady came to the counter, “What will you be having today?”

Lady Kage placed her order and waited for Izon to do the same. Lady Kage waited until she left before speaking agian.

"He said that he only comes out when you're near death. Which, as far as I can tell is true, seeing as the only time that he's come out, at least to my knowedlge, is after you fought Tsunade,"

"…is after you fought Tsunade."

Izon cringed at her last words. “So you heard about that, but that was over three days ago and on top of that she had me committed to the hospital,” he paused when he remembered that he’d left before they had released him, “Though I may have left it before I was given the okay.” He quickly scooted a seat over and out of her reach.

"Like I told him, they didn't give me the rank of Kage for nothing. We may be the smallest of the Hidden Villages, but I can say without a doubt that we've got the best information network. I can't think of any other village that has had a member stay in Konoha for almost a month without being found."

Lady Kage smiled and the girl came back with their food.

"So our only problem is, what are we going to do? Do we completely ignor this warning or do we look into it?"

“That’s a decision you should talk to the council about not a person that’s been exiled by his clan and gets put on probation on a near monthly basis,” an evil grin appeared on his face, “I say go with your gut on this one.” He picked up his plate of curry and dug in.

Lady Kage nodded.

"This is something the council should meet on, though I think you'll need to be granted acess to the Shadow Chamber for this session. Reguardless of what the council says, I'm still going to check this out. It may be nothing, but a war is something that we should try to prevent."

"Thanks," he took another bite of curry, "but no thanks. Politics are something that puts me to sleep, so I try to stay away from it." Izon set down his plate and ordered another.

"That wasn't an offer. You may not know anything about what's inside of you and it may be ture that Kanzaki could tell us everything that we need to know, but the council needs to see for themselves. The shadows have given us power to look further then most could ever dream, in some way even further then the Hyuga clan can. So like it or not, you'll be there. This is something that will impact not only you, but the Shadow Village and, if he's telling the truth the entire Shinobi world."

Lady Kage finished off her meal and leaned back in the chair slightly.

"I'll be sending a message to the rest of the Shadow Council. Once we have a date set, then I'll let you know. You can show up willingly, of I can have ANBU escort you there. It's you're decision."

Lady Kage placed some money on the table.

"We'll be in touch soon."

Her body engulfed in purple flames and she vanished. Reappearing back in her office, Lady Kage began writting messages to all of the Shaodw Council.

Great, deal with politicians or deal with ANBU. Izon wolfed down his second plate. I need to clear my head so I can think on this. He stood up and left the stand

Izon wondered the village for what seemed to be an eternity before he had arrived at the lake by Kanzaki’s house. He stuck his hand in his pocket to find his bandana. He closed his eyes, placed the bandana onto his head and by channeling his chakra to his feet stepped on to the water of the lake. He slowly walked to the center of the lake and seated himself there. Relax and let your chakra flow freely. A blackish haze appeared around him. His shadow grew and enveloped the lake and caused its crystal clear water to become black and the surface to be motionless. With in the forest the shadows of the trees and animals were pulled in the direction of the young man deep in meditation of the lakes surface by his chakra.

A shinobi from the Sand Village came in, bowing to the Kage, and then handed her a scroll, "Kage Serpaara has sent this warning out to all villages that contain a demon."

A breeze sweeps across the forest foliage causing it to bend the branches around it, the breeze sweeps along the path caressing the robes on a weary traveler. Felling the wind on their back they stop to enjoy it before continuing along the trail. The traveler isn’t a tall or a wide figure just a robed figure with their hood up to keep them warm.

Eventually the traveler comes to a clearing that leads to the large gateway of the hidden village in the shadows, he or she for that matter since you can’t really tell since they seem to be more robes then body, stops at the gateway and sits down cross legged sliding their hands into the ample sleeves of their robes.

Two guards watch as this is happening and think about the last time a unknown visitor showed up, quickly they went to inform their superiors, the traveler sits quietly every once and a while sliding a hand out of his sleeve to eat a chip.

Lady Kage nodded a quick thanks to the messenger from the Sand Village and barely had time to sit down before one of her own guards came rushing in and whispered something into her ear.

"There have been too many visiters to this village as of late. We need to do something about that."

Izon stood to his feet; his shadow retreated back to normal while his flow of chakra returned to normal, there was a dazed look was upon his face as he stumbled his way back to shore. Three hours, I guess I beat my old record. Once back on solid ground he head for the village.

After an hour walk Izon had made it to his apartment. Home. He unlocked the door and went in. His apartment was of okay size for a single person with a full bathroom, one bedroom, and a kitchen/living room. After he’d removed his shoes he head for the bathroom.

Ten minutes later he came out in a pair of pajama pants and his ninja gear in his arms. He went into his room and threw the gear on the floor next to his dresser then collapsed on his bed.

A few days passed and the message hadn’t come yet, so he spent his newly acquired free time at the training grounds.

Time had passed and Lady Kage still hadn't heard back from three of the Council members, but she wasn't too surprised. Kanzaki was off fighting, Sanjuro was back in Konoha dealing with his clan and Kazuma wasn't too big on responsibility, he had just recently dumped his Gennin on someone else.

"How that one ever got on the Shadow Council......."

She shook her head as she finished off the letter of summons to Izon. She summoned an ANBU member and handed him the scroll.

"Remember, he's to come of his own free will. Unless he refuses, then you've got the authory to do whatever you need to do to get him to come...........save for killing him. We need him alive, for now at least."

THe ANBU nodded and vanished. She didn't think it would come to that though. With the threat of the whole Shadow Coouncuil looming over him, Izon would come on his own. She iwshed that all seven members of the Shadow Council would be here for this meeting. A decision like this wasn't something to be taken lightly.

Izon was on his way home from the training grounds when an ANBU appeared, handed him a scroll, and then disappeared. He opened the scroll and read. When he finished he destroyed the scroll with the use of an explosive note. It’s time. Izon vanished in a puff of smoke.

He reappeared in front of the door’s leading to the council chamber. Time to find out what the village is going to do. He opened the door and entered the chamber.
