You're god damn right. It takes one to know one. I play DnD on a regular basis and I am a fucking Geek for it.

Vin Diesel used to play DnD. Does that make him a geek?

You're god damn right it does.

Especially when he writes the introduction to the whatevereth anniversary edition.

Andrew, your comebacks are becoming more and more pathetic as time ticks away; application of rudimentary psychology knowledge sheds away whatever mask you try and put on. Now you're just trying to save yourself from the embarassment. roflnub.

If watching anime and playing video games are what constitute a nerd <_< then yeah, I guess I'm a nerd. Though I've never had a LAN party or Anime Movie Night, or been to one for that matter. Consequently, that also brings in enough of the world's population to strike "non-conformist" from a nerd's requirements.

I also play D&D >_>, though not as often as I would like.

Edit: A geek and nerd aren't the same thing.

Just for the record, I am the Pimp of all geeks and nerds.

Personally I think geek love is more fun than nerd love. Nothing is more enticing than a woman speaking Klingon to me in a sexy voice.

That's all I needed to read, thank you.

Jesus christ kid, your denial rivals the size of the river it's often mistaken for.

Andrew Blade wrote:Jesus christ kid, your denial rivals the size of the river it's often mistaken for.

lololol I hereby deny your non-fitting comparison on the grounds that Odin is not often accused of denial, and label u more retarded than:

Andrew Blade wrote:I'm reminded of the phrase, "Fighting on the internet is just like competing in the special olympics- no matter who wins, you're still retarded"

"Intelligent" arguements on the internet require wit -- it's like debating. Calling a person who was just in an intelligent debate retarded doesn't make sense.

In this case, you may believe that this topic isn't important enough to have a debate over, but Odin may have decided to simply challenge your intelligence so that he may have a debate. And what did he get back?

"NAH NAH NAH NAH YOU'RE A NERD, because people who go out and don't spend time here on the internet get to choose what's considered 'normal'. It's normal to enjoy not being on the internet."

It's normal to do what you enjoy.

One of my cousins has a college teacher that makes the class debate over stupid little subjects. One funny one was: Are boxers better than regular underwear?

She doesn't want to know if boxers are better or not, she just wants the students to sharpen their wit, and to learn to back their judgements with plausible points of views, and facts. Odin didn't get the chance to do so here.

Ah yeah, this is boredom. But hey, you know what? I occupied myself for just a little bit, and used my mind to relay my opinion. I enjoy using my mind to do stuff.

People who go out: Ah yeah, I feel accomplished. I went out . . saw the San fran bridge . . . and shit. Now I'ma relax.

In this case, the 'nerd' saw something new as well. He was there to witness an arguement over who is a nerd, and who is not. I never seen dat shiz before. o_o

Sounds like an equal outcome, no?

In any case, my logic may simply relay the fact that the whole "who's a nerd and who isn't" topic is subject to question, if I really -- ever -- want to get down to talk about it, I know how to assault the other side with plausible retorts. From my current vantage point, the other side doesn't have the grounds to make come-backs. But maybe I'm wrong?

-Snicker snicker snicker.-

That's one beauty of debating -- you never know if the crazy guy on the other side can come back or not.

But in this happy, welcoming community -- which I don't have a problem with at all -- I'm happy to label myself a proud nerd. I am a proud roleplayer, so I'm a proud nerd. It's coo', it's all fun and fun.

That is all.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Edit:
1. No, this shouldn't have come this far.
2. No, calling you retarded, Andrew, wasn't meant to be taken seriously.
3. I doubt Odin wanted to test your intelligence, but wtvr. It's somewhat of an example.
4. My . . . sister in law's chihuahua took a dump on my carpet. v_v Good thing it isn't all watery and shiz.

I agree with that Zeph said and, honestly, I'm a bit disappointed in Andrew. All he does is say stuff and doesn't back it; like a kid.

I present my views and information to back me up.

Andrew: "Lol, ur in denial. Lol, ur wrong i'm rite lolol."

Maybe we got started on the wrong foot, and I hold no ill will against you. But, if this is how you are all the time, I'd much rather you just never talk to me again.

@Zeph: And on you're bed, can't forget that one.

Because to give this argument any serious attention or though would take up many more brain cells that could be much more enjoyably used doing something fun rather than arguing with you two Nerdy McNerdsteins.

Seriously, I know you guys are on the debate team and everything, but I don't really care if you believe you're nerds or not, it's not going to the change the picture I have in my head of the two of you frantically searching Wikipedia for the definition of the words "Geek" and "Nerd" and analyzing said definitions so that you can find some kind of loophole that makes you immune to the title.

I think you'll find that my attitude is very profound in a lot of my statements and posts and you'd do well to be grown-ups and realize that they're just words and move on past them. I cop this attitude because it amuses me to give people like you shit.

In fact, I made this thread just to bug April, although in this case I was actually waiting for her to admit the truth to herself. I do that because I'm her friend and I care about her and I want her to know that she's wonderful just the way she is, even if she is a nerd or geek.

Zeph, Odin, you guys could form a circle-jerk club called Jocks Anonymous and pretend you don't have glasses as thick as Coke-bottles and it still wouldn't change the fact that I think you're a pair of Stephen Hawking-worshipping, Final Fantasy-obsessing, Harry Potter-wannabe card-carrying members of the Princess-Leia-we-wanna-hump-you-even-though-we're-28-year-old-virgins Fan club.

Now, for my sheer enjoyment, pretend I care and continue throwing up desperate attempts to prove that you are, indeed, not complete fucktards.

Odin: "Oh wait! He called us fucktards!"
Zeph: "That's completely different than Nerd or Geek! Quick! Find the definition of it so we can prove why we're, in fact, NOT fucktards!"

Give me a break

I'm the only one on the debate team, Zeph is just smarter than you.

I wear glasses, but I don't think they make coke-bottle thick lenses anymore.

I used dictionary.com, and that's only cause I thought you were of average intellect; now that I know how you play the game, I doubt I'll ever use a website to reference anything else. The information just falls on stupid ears.

I don't know why your mind automatically went to circle jerks; I'm thinking you have either repressed memories, or hidden fantasies.

I've never played Final Fantasy, never owned a Harry Potter card, and I'm 18.

And now! To insult others without a basis on anything even remotely connected to them, a page from Andrew's book.

I'm sorry that your cranky because your mom didn't give you your bottle of warm milk today Andrew :( I think your mom got tired of breast feeding you when you hit 23.

Stop spending all of your time on GWing. Get a job, get a life; go do something productive!

Oh, and don't try to tell anyone that what I said isn't true; we'll all know it's just “denial lolz@u.

Like he, I'm 18 as well.

you cum guzzling, rim-jobbing, self head giving, ball-licking, clit hating fruit cake.

On a more relevant note:

you nerd-obsessive, geek's penis lusting, sodomy-happy [ On the receiving end ], tea-bag-ee. [ To make sure once more, I meant you're on the receiving end. ]

Alright, I think we should stop. I mean, regardless of how inexplicably gay Andrew is, it isn't fair to the rest, and more respectable, members of GWing.

Yeah. I don't tend to purposely make enemies on forums because it isn't beneficial.

>_> Sorry everyone, those insults there kinda sent me over the edge [ not angry, just made me want to insult back ]. And now . . . I shall stop, even if --

If you'd like to continue Andrew, by all means . . . catch me in private message.

-- if Andrew decides to insult me again in here. I won't reply even if he insults me here again, to make sure you all understand.

Just to state some extra:
1. I h8 Harry Potter.
2. Only played one FF game.
3. -Adjusts glasses with a wide smile on his countenance.- I love my glasses, and so do the girls I've gone out with.
4. Yeah, that fuckin chihuahua took a shit on my bed, too. That nigga paid for it though.
