[G1 Transformers] Shortstop

**Note: This is one of my favorite OCs and he's also one that's grown the most.**

Bio: Skilled in close combat and sharpshooting, Shortstop is a younger Autobot that was activated just as the war began. He and his creator fled their hometown, Kalis, and took refuge in Polihex until it was destroyed. His creator killed, and himself lying injured under rubble, Shortstop stayed in stasis lock for years until a salvage team dug him up and repaired him. When told of all that had happened, Shortstop vowed revenge on the Decepticons and set off to Iacon to train as an Autobot soldier.
He was not a part of the original crew of the Ark, but rather part of the squad of femmes led by Elita-1. They finished his upbringing and fine-tuned his skills, but upon hearing about the Ark crew surviving on Earth he wanted to go. Elita-1 disapproved, so he snuck off in a small ship. His instruments malfunctioned upon entering the atmosphere, and he landed in Texas instead of Oregon. He quickly changed his alt-mode, scanning the first thing he spotted: a city bus for San Antonio. His fellow Autobots found him shortly after, and after much heated discussion Prime grudgingly accepted him onto the crew.
Like Jazz and Blaster, Shortstop loves Earth’s culture and is fascinated by all the creatures that occupy the planet. He’s laid back and tends to goof off a lot while on duty, and amuses himself in odd ways to keep himself from getting bored (whether it be humming a tune or bouncing rocks on his foot like a hackey sack), but in battle he is all business and carries out his orders well.

Abilities and Weapons: Shortstop is equipped with only two photon rifles and no missile launchers. He prefers to fight in close combat, and is fast for his bulky frame. He hides his rifles in subspace compartments in his thighs, and can eject them whenever necessary. Behind his lower legs are a pair of thrusters that allow him to take flight for only a limited amount of time. In vehicle mode he can reach speeds up to 130 miles an hour with a range of 300 miles.

Weaknesses: Tends to goof around and gets bored easily.
