Jin rode in the back as Knight drove down the road. they had waited until Lunda had refused the ride to start away. It was an odd feeling, to be in a car in general after so long, but also to be so close to something that was alive and didn't want to kill him, as far as he knew at least. In the back of his mind he expected Knight's skin to rip off, like his parents had, and for the Creature inside to crash the car and kill him.

"...off at?" Knight said, causing Jin to snap out of it. "Hey, you alive? I said where should I drop you off?"

"You mean you arn't going to take me back to some lab and lock me up?" Jin asks, glaring and crossing his arms.

"Don't have one, just an old house with some fancy stuff inside." Knight says with a smile. "But there's a spare room there if you'd like to have it."

Jin looked from Knight to the outside. It looked as if it might rain again, plus it was near dawn and he hadn't slept yet. So, too tired to argue, heagred to the room, since he really didn't have anywhere else anyway, and Knight drove on.
