Yoshi sighed again and slid her gaze up to consider Han So. They had known each other for three months now when her father introduced them, telling her that she was to sponsor him. Slowly, she was starting to realize that he was the closest thing she had to a friend, a thought that was more curious than it was sad, in her opinion. Thus far, she could not completely understand him. She was fully aware of the fact that she was not anyone's favorite person, but he continued to regard her with a strange cheery kindness that even the servants that had been employed in her estate since her birth could not manage. It was strange. It confused her.

She looked up at him once he reached her side and then away. He was almost two years older than her, and was almost a head taller, but he still kind of acted like a child, Or at least, he did normally. At the very least, it was a nice change that kept Yoshi from getting too bored.

"Good morning, Han So," she said. She'd always had a way of making the usually warm greeting sound absolutely routine. "I see that there are quite a few maids and butlers who find themselves sponsorless this year."
