Masumi watched the bright red, digital numbers on her alarm clock, shivering slightly due to its age, waiting, laying still in the ruffly, lace comforter, clutching the lining of the sheets. Slowly, she felt each second pass, another person dying in this world, another worthless person added. She counted: 56, 57, 58, 59... Suddenly, the last two numbers morphed to read "6:30", signalling her to rise from her gothic tomb of a matress and get ready for another hell conjured by Satan that was commonly labelled, "School". She didn't rush to the narrow bathroom to shower, nor did she hurry to her dresser to remove a ink black, laced dress, in which she took her time putting on, along with her knee-socks, ankle-high boots with the silver buckles, and, with a horrid cringe, the snow white apron and headress with the pink bows. She sighed, looking at the added, required acessories she'd love to set fire to.

Oh, Nyx, pink... Really? Just because I'm a girl, I have to wear fucking baby pink? She lightly jabbed a finger at the silky ribbons that adorned her black-blue hair, continuing the stab harder as if she could willingly cause it to burst into flames. As she turned her dark eyes to the clock, she noticed the time had drastically spun forward, yet, she still went slowly to her vanity to dab on her makeup.

After becoming satified with her look, she casually trudged out of her dorm room, glancing around her as she strolled through the dark, deserted hall. This hinted that nearly all the maids on this floor were already at class. She couldn't supress a sigh as she continued on, tugging half-heartedly on her white apron.
