"I don't have to hurt you. I have new friends that can do that!" The girl looked around the cemetery, looking for something specific.

Connor thought about her words for a few moments. What is she talking about? "Wait a second...you wouldn't."

"Oh, I would." She spread her bat wings, which looked premature and unusable, but she was apparently able to fly with them anyway. Connor swung his sword down, vertically slashing down her stomach as she flew upwards. She let out a piercing scream, one that only a child could possibly let out, yet somehow worse on the ears. Connor covered his right ear with his free hand. He shook off the pain and begin to realize the horror of his situation. All around the graveyard, whatever hadn't already left to begin their hunting, clawed their way to their feet.

"Ugh. Zombies. I hate them." He lifted up his sword and slowly spun around to get a look on his surroundings. If I'm going to die, I'm going down fighting. "C'mon! The dead is damned if they attack me!" Connor quickly looked for an escape route, and the only one he could see was the gate at the front entrance. Grand. One side of the cemetary to the other. Looks like I'm a one-man army tonight. He looked up a final time and saw the child snickering in the air, as the blood dripping from her wound slowed, and then stopped dripping completely. "I'll be back for you in the morning. Better find a good hiding spot for your last game of hide-and-seek."

Mia stopped snickering and folded her arms again. "Hmph. I don't wanna play hide-and-seek. I just wanna watch you play tag with my new friends!" Connor looked back ahead to the horde about to charge at him, apparently waiting for someone to attack first. And Connor planned for that person to be him. I think maybe I should've bought that gun when I had the chance. Connor sighed and made ready his attack.
