"HQ, this is Zero, do you copy?" said the red Maverick Hunter as he attempted to open communications with the Hunter Base. When he got no reply, Zero tried an open channel, "This is S-Class Maverick Hunter Zero, does anyone read me?" he said, now pacing a bit and getting frustrated, "Alia? Layer? Signas? Axl? Does anyone copy?" he tried multiple channels but still got no reply. Like the scanners, communication was also out. Finally giving up, Zero crossed his arms, trying to keep his cool, "Tch, well wherever the hell we are, it's out of communication range. No one at HQ is answering." he glanced in X's direction and saw him examining a pink rat.

"Would you quit playing around? We can't just sit here all day, we have a mission to complete." he said, approaching X and finally getting a better look at the pink rodent, "The hell kind of reploid is that, anyway?" he tried to scan it, but the rodent didn't appear in any of the databases. After a second look, it finally occurred to him, "Wait, is that thing organic? How is that possible? Where the hell is this place?" Zero remembered the black hole. Well, since no one really knows what happens when you enter a black hole, I guess we could be in another dimension or something. It doesn't explain how we survived, but at least it's something.

"Speaking of our mission. What happened to Sigma?" Zero asked X, "Shouldn't he have ended up here with us?" he asked, but decided not to wait for another answer, "And we had him this time! Damn it!" said Zero, sounding very frustrated, "Just when we think we finally got him, the bastard always manages to pull something out of his ass! I'm getting really sick of destroying Sigma. What was this? The 10th time we fought him? Why won't that bastard stay dead for a change?"
