Dud searched through the room, moving away old schematics, knocking down stacks of books, and tearing through piles of scrap metal.
The robot was looking for a specific piece of paper. It looked thought the whole house unaware that Midnight was standing at the door. The robot stopped in his tracks realizing immediately where the paper could be. It rushed out into the kitchen, and opened the refrigerator. The schematics where sitting under the few cans of food Eli actually kept in there.

The robot turned around and finally acknowledged Midnight who seemed confused about what it was doing. The robot bumped up against her foot. Waiting for Midnight to move. It managed to warp a sound enough to make it say "E-ii, E-ii" It was trying to reach his friend. As it moved though the door it knocked down a picture. In the picture were Eli's parents, next to them was another couple, with shiny black hair, and dark black eyes.
