Haruhi was leaning back against the wall, eating the huge piece of cake Honey had given her. She was a little crazy about sweets and loved to cook as well.
A bit too much sugar...she observed. Could of been better with a little more flour...
Haruhi watched the day at the Host Club pass by. Watched the Hitachiin brothers do their regular thing, Honey bouncing around, etc etc...It droned on and on...
She surfaced from her thoughts when a band of voices called her name. "Haruhi-kuuuun!"
Haruhi blinked and turned to see a table of girls waving towards her.
"Haruhi-kuuuun!" one of them called. "Would you like to sit down?"
Haruhi smiled politely. "Of course." She realized how much she had been neglecting the customers. I hope Kyouya-senpai didn't notice.
As she made her way towards her table, she passed by Yusuke, the newest host.
"Hi Yusuke-senpai," she greeted him. He was babbling about something she couldn't understand. It probably had something to do with that Honey shouted a few moments ago. "Ookay...Anyways, you want some cake? Honey-senpai gave me some and I don't think I'll finish it before throwing up. And that'll just cause Tamaki-senpai to freak out and maybe send me to the hospital."
Haruhi set the cake down on Yusuke's table and made her way to her own. She sat down next to the girls who all greeted her and asked how she was doing.
The same old stuff.
"Today's weather is really great, isn't it?" she started, putting on her same old smile that always caused the girls to blush. "I think it'd be great to visit the beach maybe later on..."
"Maybe we should visit it later," one of the girls answered. "You should ask Tamaki-senpai."
Their conversations continued, and Haruhi could finally be herself. That's one thing she really loved about the Host Club. Besides the semi-dumb costumes, the guests were never tired of hearing her stories.
