Hospital: Blind Trust

Sean kept questioning what his life meant with each step he took toward the exit of the hospital. The warm pleasant memories he had with Corissa were now traumatizing to him. His body felt so heavy under what had happened. Sean was so overwhelmed that conditions outside became dangerous. Meteorologist were claiming it was an unpredicted tropical storm that hadn't been tracked. They had even been baffled by the phenomenon. Sean didn't care though. Even as lightning made contact, he continued toward the exit. Maybe... Just maybe, if I was hit, I wouldn't have to care... Sean was so close to the exit now, that he could practically smell the damp scent of the rain. He didn't know how he would get home, or if he would even go back home. Before he could get any closer to the exit, Sean heard faint panting, coming at him from behind. Could it have been Elliot again? Sean couldn't think of anything that man could say to make him stop. He did turn around however.

"Elliot, I don't... Corissa?" Sean's eyes widened at the sight of her. ...she isn't your sister... The words struck him again before Corissa jumped into his arms. At first he couldn't bring his arms to hold her. His eyes shut as he actually did something that he wasn't familiar with. It was as if he heard a soft voice that guided him. Listen to your heart. Sean's hands wrapped around Corissa as the memories that had once crippled his thoughts, became warm and pleasant again. These memories felt different though. As if he was looking at them through another set of eyes. He opened his eyes, and the storm outside seemed to settle a bit.

"I'm sorry si... I'm sorry Corissa. I don't know why I let that get to me. It shouldn't have even phased me, because I know... I know I couldn't stop loving you. I trust you and care about you more than anyone... You not being my biological sister shouldn't matter." Sean held Corissa tighter, before smiling. "Is there any other bad news? I want to go to Paris stress free." Sean asked jokingly, so he could see Corissa smile as well. He didn't want to drastically change the mood, but he wanted to look past this. At that moment, Elliot entered the hallway, a look of dismay on his face.

"Sean! Corissa! You need to calm that guy down! He's going nuts on the third floor." Elliot said, hoping Sean would care. Sean ignored Elliot for a minute as he embraced Corissa. His eyes Elliot's before he let go of Corissa.

"We can't the him ruin good business here." Sean said before putting a hand to Corissa's shoulder. "We have to go calm him down. This hospital is kind of important." Sean said trying to mask his concern.
