Zarek released a light howl as he entered the Main Cave, and two guards- one wolf, one wolf-person- came rushing to his side. He nodded at them both, but his gaze lingered on the female wolf-person for a few seconds before moving on. He went down a tunnel and continued walking until he reached a room. Acacia... Zarek knew he had to pass Acacia's room to reach Ambrose's, but there was no telling what would happen once they did.

She had fallen asleep, hoping that when she woke up her leg would be fixed- it was starting to hurt like a bitch. She barely heard the approaching party in the tunnel, but she could smell them. Her father. Two guards, one of which smelled like her father. Ambrose-

Acacia jerked awake and sat bolt upright. She screamed as she touched her broken leg to the ground.

When Ambrose heard the scream, he forgot about everything going on in the world. He forgot that he was a prisoner. He forgot that his life was on the line. He forgot everything that mattered. Pushing past the two guards and Zarek, Ambrose ran into Acacia's room, surprising the two guards in front of the entrance.
