Falling towards the floor and blind with pain, Acacia whimpered. How could she be so stupid to forget her leg was broken? How could she? But it's not my fault... she thought, growling now at her mother's decision to simply leave her. So she'd rather leave her child in pain...Some mother... Acacia was just about to rest her head back on the floor when suddenly...Ambrose was beside her.
"Ambrose!" she shouted, quickly standing up again, but being cautious of her leg.
He nuzzled her, ignoring the warning growls of the two guards. "It's good to see you again, Acacia," he said softly.
She licked a bit of blood off his face. "Who fought you out there? How did they not kill you?"

Stunned by Ambrose's quick action, Zarek didn't move until the two guards went running after their prisoner. "Get back here!" he shouted, only wanting to keep his promise to Basilia to keep Ambrose and Acacia separated.
