For a few moments, Issac says nothing, not really wanting to remember, but after a time he can't help it. Closing his eyes he reaches up and rubs them, sighing as he does so. Eventually, he speaks.

"My father..." He says, simply and quietly. "He was killed. He was treating one of you, a State Alchemist, when a man he'd been treating as a patient for years rushed in, gun in hand. My father shielded the alchemist, and in doing so lost his life." He stops and reaching up once more, having lowered his hand, and wipes a tear away. Once again he silently curses himself for his mistake. Not only is he uncertain if his father has, as the tales say, become a homunculus, but he is reminded once more that his limbs aren't real. Although he can somewhat feel through them, his hands are fake, just metal and wires, and it is his own fault.

Once a nurse looks Issac over they release him officially, and he is shown to a simple room. There is a bed, a dresser, and a desk with a chair, and little else. Inside the dresser he finds some uniforms, and, trying one on, he finds they seem to be tailor made to fit his frame, which doesn't suprise him as much as he feels it should. Once his things are put away he heads for the showers, washes throughly to get all the blood off his body, as well as any dead skin from his medical alchemy, then he heads back to his room, dresses for bed, and reads through a manual that was left on the desk for him.

The next morning, at dawn, he wakes up. Right away he remembers that Mustang said something about a meeting, but just as he gets out of bed abd takes his pajamas shirt off to start getting dressed, there is a loud knock at the door, then a yell before it swings open suddenly. Wilhelm is there, seeming more cheery than the otherday. He is, as always dressed in his uniform, but now he has two blue backpacks, one on his own back, the other in hand.

"So, you're actually awake, good, I won't have to kick you in the head." Wilhelm says with a laugh, tossing the extra pack on Issac's bed. "Hurry up and dress, the Fuhrer is waiting on us."

"What's in this thing?" Issac asks, lifting the pack, suprised by it's heft.

"A little of everything. Supplies, materials, some money, extra uniform, so on and so forth." Wilhelm says. "These are the standard supplies we carry when out in the field. You're welcome to carry more or less, but if you end up with too much weight or running out too quickly it's not my fault." Then, seeming suddenly angry once more, he yells, "Hurry up!"

Issac jumps a little at this. After Wilhelm leaves he dresses in a uniform, looks through the backpack, then sighs and takes some of the things out, putting them in his satchet bag and taking it with him as he leaves instead of the blue pack. Soon he is headed outside, where the others are waiting with Mustang.
